mama2arockstar, my baby suffered from this since he was borned, My baby will push so hard that everything that was on his little tummy will come up and out his nose, he couldnt breath and there were times that I thought I would loose him, I coudlnt sleep at night I will stay up and just watch him, I tried everything that people told me to do, nothing simed to help really that much, even the ped was not help at all, he used to say "it is normal" yeap I gave him a normal after I came in with my baby all wigglely... so I changed ped and she told me to give him prune juice, I was afraid to give it to him and she told me not to, that was as if I eat a lot of salad and get extra fiber, that would not hurt me at all, so now I give him 2onz. prune juice and believe IT WORKS SO GOOD, he does everyday right after drinking it sometimes, or everyother day it depends on how much he drinks, ofcourse now that he feeds himself he only drinks until he is full so I am no longer afraid it is too much. sometime I mix it with water and then I make sure he drinks it all or almost all of it.. I really hope your baby is better and everything believe me is going to be fine after you try this.. kissess to ur little one..I am a stay home mom too.. I am glad to find someone that does it too.

I can't believe people say Eww when they see a birthmark. I'm so annoyed when I hear that people are saying these things to moms and babies. People need to remember that if they don't have anything nice to say, they shouldn't say anything at all!

Seriously, don't worry about what your son isn't doing. He sounds fine, perfect in fact. Some kids go way ahead on milestones - so you hear a lot about them. Your friends child sounds really advanced. Plus a LOT of development happens in the next few months.

My dr said it's very rare for a baby to sit up at 6 months because they sleep on their backs - which slows development of muscles they need to hold themselves up.

Finally remember that on this site mommies brag. If our babies haven't hit a milestone, we usually don't add to the conversation.

I dont think your LO is slow babies do stuff at diffrent rates.. people think my LO is slow bc she isnt pulling up on anything yet.. On the teeth thing Ansley Grace has 3 in and one on the way but her cousin that is 3 weeks older doesnt have any yet .. i thnk she got her teeth early bc her daddy got his first one at 3 months

Stop listening to people. Everyone tells me both my kids are slow, but they are just fine according to the doctor and I'm happy with they're progress. Crawling isn't even a milestone. Some kids never crawl! Don't worry, just tell them he's right on track.
