Where do I start? I have a beautiful son and now god has blessed me with a girl!! I don't think I could be happier. I can't wait to see her that is all I think about day and night! I guess I just have to patient kinda hard though! Its amazing how you can love someone so much that you have never even met!

IF you'd like to look up more info on it..it's called cervidil. It helps to soffen your cervix so it will dilate quicker!! Good luck to you I go tomorrow as well! So exciting...

The pills or capsules they put inside you are fake Prostaglandins. It's what makes you dilate. Semen contains it, that's why they say sex can induce labor. It's pretty much fake semen they put in there. It just softens the cervix to prepare it to dilate. I hope this helps a little bit!

My doc said since this is my first baby I probably wont start dilating much until labor starts, usually though after your fully effaced you should start to make some type of progress, i was about 70% effaced last week and barely 1 cm dilated so we will have to wait and see. I imagine it shouldnt be to much longer though for you. Your doc will tell you if you have dilated any at your next appointment.

Effacement is your cervix thinning out, cause while your pregnant its very thick, so if you are 100% effaced you are completely thinned out, dilating is your cervix opening up so the baby can come out, when you get to 10 cm you are ready to push the baby out. sometimes you can be dilated a few centimeters for a couple weeks before you actually start labor. Hopefully that helps some.

Cramping can be a sign of labor, gas or even needing a bowel movement. I had that all day the other day and had some horrible bowel movements and gas later that night and felt much better! good luck

yea it's SOO crazy! ALso, for some reason even though I am SOO tired I just never stop going. I work full time and then I go home to my son 4.5yrs and step daughter almost 2yrs and make dinner, do laundry clean..ect ect ect every night!! I just don't know how to make my self relax! I feel like I have so much to do! Last night I went home made dinner, vacuumed the whole house, cleaned both bathrooms like on my hands and knees, and put 3 loads of laundry away oh and bathed the kids and put them to bed after i cleaned their play room! Well this morning I am paying for it...it hurt so bad to get up out of bed and it hurts so bad to walk! well glad someone else out there understands, sorry to vent!! Sorry your hurting as well, I know this parts not fun! But hey, we're almost there! 23 day's to go!

it doesnt mean much, its just an estimate anyways and sometimes the baby grows fast, or she could just be on the big side. as long as its within a 2 week range of where you are, then its normal- doesnt change your due date or anything bc its all estimations anyways. My baby has been measuring a week behind for the past month or so. no biggie, hes just on the small side i suppose.

i just means that the baby is big . i had a dr vist on tuesday i was 36 weeks . and i will be 37 weeks on thursday . but i us m/s at 41 weeks . my baby is big . hope this help
