My profile
I'm 23 years old and married. I have been happily married for almost 5 years now and pray for many more exciting years to come. My husband and I met in the military. Aug. 13th 2003, and married Dec. 30th, 2003. The beginning of 2004 he left for Iraq for 14 months of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I left for Ft. Leonard Wood MO, for 9 weeks of basic training. I finshed my training and headed to Ft. Bliss TX, for MOS schooling to be an 88M, (or for those of you who don't know military) a truck driver for dear ole Uncle Sam! I graduated from all my training and made my way home, my husband had been wounded in an ambush while serving, and was at Walter Reed Medical for recovery. To make a long story short I visited him while he was home, and ultimately ended up pregnant. He decided that he wanted to return "in country", and I returned home without him.
No sooner than we returned to our jobs, I fell extremly ill, after a brief stay at the local ER I made a trip to the doctor. While out with my husbands family on a summer vaca, got a call from the doc that I was completely healthy, and pregnant. Well it took me a min to grasp the concept that I would soon be bringing a child into the world, but 2 phone calls and an e-mail later, I notified my husband that we were pregnant. Although I am often sad about it, I did take an honorable discharge and got out of the service in 2005 when my daughter was born. Now here we sit once again 3 years later, and expecting a little boy. Only this time, the love of my life and best friend gets to experiance the entire pregnancy with me, up close and personal. I am actually due Aug. 12th but due to a few minor complications with the delivery of our daughter, I elected to have another c-section, which has been scheduled for Aug. 4th. Well now that you know a little bit about me, I am going to go to bed! Its 12:17 my time and I think the little guy inside has finally gone to sleep. Congrats, and Good Luck To All!
Look how cute and peaceful!! Aww that's a perfect picture & baby! Born with AIR?!! Lucky! My daughter had almost none, I kinda doubt this one will! You make a gorgeous baby!
