I had my membranes stripped with my first and my water broke and i was in labor and had her within 10 hrs. I go this friday to have it done again with my second. It really worked for me so I hope it does for you also. And the vaginal exam when they do it does hurt a little bit but they do it pretty fast so just breath. and then sit back and wait for you water to break and get to the hospital my little girl came pretty fast after my water broke. good luck to you, let me know how things go!!!
