At first I joined this site back in April 2009 when I got my BFP. We were sooo thrilled to be expecting our first child together. We had one DD form my first marriage and Dh is an amazing step daddy to her. We wanted more for each other and more for our DD. We wanted to giver her a sibling and a friend. We wanted to create life together and grow our family. We were over joyed for 10 weeks.
I had felt really sick and was constipated so we went to the ER at 8weeks and they suggested some solutions for the constipation and did an ultrasound... we again had tears of joy when we saw our precious baby and its tiny heartbeat!
2 weeks went by and I was still not feeling well...back to the ER we went when I was unable to see my OB, however this ended up being the worst day of our lives. Our precious babies tiny heart had stopped. Our dreams were crushed and hearts were broken.

August 29th 2009- I got a BFP. The excitment is unbelievable as well as the nervousness. I haven't stopped crying and smiling!

Is anyone else getting bad headaches often? I am on day 5 of waking up with a headache and it comes and goes all day. I have been having them throughout the pregnancy but lately they are getting worse and more often. And Tylenol does nothing : (

just got done visiting my new niece and she is just even cuter then last night! found out she actually broke her collar bone during delivery (there was a long narrow bruise on her left arm, so the drs. wanted to do an xray to check everything out) ...it should heal within a month or so!

Think we have decided on a boy name (for now lol)...Nathaniel Rey. Nathaniel means "gift from God" and this baby is truly a blessing to our family and a gift from God. And Rey after Daddy means "King" ; ) Now if we can agree on a girls name......we both like Isabel and Sophia.

thanks everyone for the best wishes about my future sister-in-law!! i was there with her and my brother from 1030pm last night till she had it at 330am!!! it was a very long night....and MAN was she a SCREAMER omg... LOL... but, she made it through successfully without any medications so i give her massive kudos for that!! Nicole Lynn Brown was born 330am measuring/weighing in at 7 lbs 3.3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long! she is BEAUTIFUL! it was AMAZING to watch for the first time a new family member be brought into the world, and at the same time being on the other side of the fence this time instead of being the one delivering, and never have seen personally a delivery up close. I couldnt help but cry it was so precious! she is absolutely beautiful!!! I cant wait to see her today and get to hold her for the first time!

14 weeks today, just had 8 weeks off of work, and no morning sickness whatsoever, been feeling awesome.. HOWEVER.. I THREW UP AT WORK TODAY LOL.. i had no access to food, so of course i got that sick feeling in my stomach and had no choice..

im so excited!! my brothers fiance is at the hospital at 4 1/2 cm dialated.. hopefully everything goes smoothly for her, she plans to go all natural..BLESS HER HEART! lol ... I should have another baby niece by tomorrow sometime!! =)

ok guys Im having a friendly debate with a girlfriend who is 41 weeks along. She is swearing that when she drinks this castor oil her sister got that she will have her baby tonight. I say old wifes tale. anyone have ANY experience with this where they can shed some light?

Ladies not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me but I think I felt baby the last two nights. The first night I was half asleep and told myself no way since I am only 13 weeks, but then last night I felt it again as I was trying to fall a sleep. It felt like popcorn popping, then I felt it again about 30 seconds later, again it felt like 2-3 popcorn's popping and it is right in the area baby is. Either way it put a smile on my face

Oh and just to add.......it is fine if I am standing straight up, sitting up or laying flat or on the other side, it is just when I bend it........it is HORRIBLE!

I woke up today with HORRIBLE back pain. It seriously hurts to move. It is just on my left side in my rib area, I am not sure if maybe I slept on it wrong or if maybe it is a side effect of the seasonal flu shot I got 2 days ago. But it is killing me, seriously ladies I don't want to be dramatic but it brings tears to my eyes just to sit up......any thoughts or suggestions?

jerbear- my next appt. is on the 18th as well to find out the gender! and my fiance and i tried out the heart doppler we bought last night, and it worked AMAZING, only took us 5 minutes to find the heartbeat, and it was about 130s..it was so funny cuz my fiance was the one handling the doppler, and the baby kept rolling/moving away from him and he was talking to it like 'hey little boy, sit still!!' lol (he is opraying its a boy.) but yea.. it was the best money spent, so reassuring, and it worked just as good as the OB's doppler at our drs!!

**MY NEW TATTOO** So last night I decided that I was going to get a new tattoo. There is a group of ladies that mean the world to me and have brought me out of EVERY SINGLE dump over the past year. These ladies mean the world to me and when I talk about them I actually tear up because they are so special. These ladies are angel mommas but to me they are LIFESAVERS. So before Christmas I will be getting a tattoo around my wrist with multi colored lifesavers. Each lifesavers will represent you guys. You mean the world to me and I always want and need you with me...just like my angels. *tear*

YOU LOVE ARE THE GREEN LIFESAVER ON MY WRIST :)
