Saturday, 21 June Hey, I'm glad you're feeling better. I still have days where I cry a lot, but it's gotten better for me too. Nikki either sleeps like a rock or is up all night. Last night she slept 9 hours and I of course freak out because it's been so long since she's eaten.
Is niall smiling yet??? When the hell are they supposed to be doing that? And when are we supposed to get our periods? Mommyjewels -

Monday, 16 June Nah still have the fever - my doc says its mastitis - I keep massaging and try to express milk - it helps to the extend that I dont have a really bad fever and really bad pains (which I heard mastitis can give) but it makes staying awake and being energetic a bit difficult.
I am still over the moon in love with my litlle beautiful boy though!
How are you feeling? And how's your baby? MommyJewels -
Monday, 16 June Yeah...I can't remember how the clothing sizes work...but I remember being really confused in Europe buying clothing! I hope you know that I was teasing you for losing your weight and not being serious. I think it is wonderful that you have lost that weight already. My bed rest arse gained A BUTT load (literally) especially during the end of the pregnancy when I wasn't as sick. I've lost 31 pounds but nothing flipping fits. I cried to my mom about my FAT feet. I'm not a materialistic person, but I LOVE my shoes and none of them fit. I guess that is one good thing about a broken tailbone....can't wear heals anyhow.
Did you notice that your hips and other parts were never the same after your first or did things fall back into place.
Oh...and what the HECK is up with these stretch marks??????? I didn't have any during pregnancy and now they are everywhere?
Good God, I sound like the most vain person ever in this message. SORRY.
Hope you guys had a good Father's Day! my7thbabyduemay20th2008 -

Thursday, 12 June I am so jealous!!!! You lost all your weight!?!?? You brat:) KIDDING. Don't be hard on yourself honey. I got so pissed off that I lost 30 pounds so far and couldn't get anything back on as well. I am still wearing maternity clothing. My mom bought me a couple new tops. I'm losing fast...as I was on my arse for the whole pregnancy. I gained 45 pounds! Just give yourself time. So much of what is in style or what is in the stores right now is all flowly and covers up the belly:) YAY! Take your time and be proud that you lost the weight so quickly! Very impressive:) babyharris -

Wednesday, 11 June Don't be so tough on yourself. It takes 6 weeks alone for the uterus to go back to pre-pregnancy size, and if you have a c-section.... you've got inflamed tissue to deal with too. If this is your first pregnancy, give yourself 3 or 4 months for your waist to shrink back down. If you've had other children, it tends to take a bit longer. 6 months is a really good goal to be back to the same size that you were before. Looking like you did before, a couple of weeks after you give birth and have major abdominal, surgery is terribly unrealistic. ElleMarley -
Wednesday, 11 June hi i had a c section and found the same problem i lost my baby weight and a bit more, but my jeans especially were not going on like they used to, my midwife said that its because your hips and pelvis widen after having a baby, so it changes your shape which obviously affects how your clothes fit, plus after my section i have a little overhang of tummy over the scar and its a bit wobbly not firm like before so i got a size up but the legs don't fit as good as before, sorry to say but i think its just another sacrafice of motherhood lol. danish-girl -
Tuesday, 10 June I am so happy to be a mum! I have a fever though - not a lot, but enough to make me feel bad. I've had it for days and its not getting better or worse - I think I'll call my doctor tomorrow!
How are you feeling? kmfitz -
Tuesday, 10 June we tried :( they told us it's not their fault. stupid corporations. we're sooooooooooo mad about it--it's hard enough to go shopping these days, so when we get to, losing all of it the next day is devastating.
i'm having the yellow stuff too! thank god! no one else talked about it--it's coming out w/ the blood. i noticed it last week and it does not smell very good, so i thought i had an infection.
one good thing about the power being off is that i get to stay at my parents' house--so that means two extra people to hand the baby off to so i can go shower! i never thought that showering would become my favorite time of day. it's the only time i get some peace!!!
i hope you get a little bit of sleep tonight--nikki was up at 3, 7, and then 11. I got little bits of sleep here and tehre, but i feel better than i have in days. and right now she's in the living room crying for NO REASON!! UGH! kmfitz -
Tuesday, 10 June yeah, i called about the bleeding and they said that it's normal to bleed up to 6 weeks out. so they don't seem to concerned. hopefully it'll stop soon--boy, the body sure does make up for not having a period for 9 months!!
I had the WORST day EVER yesterday. So, around 4:30, the power freaking goes out. I have a feeling it's not coming back on any time soon, so I have my mom come get me and the baby (b/c michael has the car). Michael and I try to go back home around 9, thinking the power will be on b/c that's what the power company said, but NO IT'S NOT, and their new estimated time of restoration is 3AM!!!! It's pitch black in the house and we can't see to take care of nicole on top of the fact that we just spent $150 on groceries that's now all gone.
I'm still at my parents' house. let's see if the power's back on tonight...

Tuesday, 10 June oh i see what you were asking now! yeah i had a ton of water in me from the iv's. it took about two weeks for me and i was back to normal. it really sucks. i hated the recovery but totally worth it. so yah i'd say a week and half to two weeks
