Happy mothers day!!!!! i had a ok one since bd missed his train n decided not to come cuz it would be to late than !!!! yippy !!!!! so i did visit my grandma, to cheer her up cuz my grandpa just died friday on cancer! still cant realize it, i m upsad about it but also happy for him cuz he aint in pain no more!so how ru?

lol yeah i know i really need to jump on gettin my camera fixed...=)
no i didnt get induced...apparently when i went to my appt march 5-my dr scraped my membranes (still dont know what that means-i just know it hurt!) and i started having cramps that nite. i had gone to the hospital to get checked thinkin they would just send me home but my contractions were 3min apart so they went ahead and admitted me...but funny thing is that he was born EXACTLY 9mths from conception-but since drs go by the last day of your last period they were off-b/c i had a period a week after he was conceived....so according to them he was born at 37wks-6days-but according to me he was right on time....but i didnt think he'd be so small-but bd's other son was less than 6lbs as well...?? who knows.

yeah my digital cam. broke in oct so i've been using disposable ones b/c i've been too lazy to take it up to best buy to get it fixed since i have a warranty but i need to stop procrastinating so i can quit payin for these stupid disposable cameras!! hahaha

HEY MARTINA SO WAT DAY DID YOU GO IN LABOR. HOW DO U FEEL NOW. WE ARE STILL IN THE SAME SITUATION EXCEPT WE ARE LIVIN FROM PLACE TO PLACE. BUT HOPEFULLY THATS ALL GOING TO CHANGE REAL SOON. awe-i went to pick him up from daycare (he had his 2mth chkup) and he was sound asleep in the swing....awe!!! i wish i had my camera-i really need to keep one in my purse!!!

oh and surprisingly he's sleeping really well now...unfortunately i have him sleeping in my bed but it works for now...i may be getting a bassinet from a friend so he doesnt get too comfortable w/ that situation....but the past couple nites he's only gotten up 1x to eat!!! i think daycare wears him out.

 he has some dark eyes! and he's so adorable!! mine isnt as dark as that 1 pict makes him look...hehehe my poor boy has changed like 5 diff colors. he was almost a red-orange when he was born, then he got jaundice so he was orange, and now he's a light tan...=) i came back to work this past monday. my boy is 9wks tomorrow-he's at daycare-monday was soooo hard for me to let go of him at daycare!! but i got thru it. and me and him are both adjusting to our new schedules...hope you and baby and family are doin great!! congrats!

My husband and I had a serious heart to heart this weekend about what will not be tolerated in our marriage. Things are looking better. I cannot thank you enough for your comforting words of support. It means so much to me to have people understand where I'm coming from, because often during my pregnancy I just feel TOO emotional. It's good to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way. :) Thanks, more than you know.

Your baby is beautiful ! Congrats indeed on your little baby boy. My daughter is a total delight. I am so in love - I never imagined (seeing as I did not enjoy being pregnant at all !). My breasts are killing me and not much milk is being produced. I am not sure if this is the stress or if I am just not cut out to breastfeed. In any case, she is gaining weight and looking more and more like a baby and less like a little rose shrimp ! For now, she has the most beautiful blue eyes too (like my mom and her grandfather - my husband's father). Thanks for keeping in touch. Your support has meant so much to me these last couple of months - you have no idea ! Best of luck with the growth spurt.

i'd say the latching took about 2-3 weeks to stop hurting -- at that point, my nipples got toughened up enough. I found that rubbing some breastmilk into the nipples when my son had finished nursing and letting them air dry helped a lot. also, I tried to alternate holds so that different parts of the nipple were stressed each time was helpful too - football hold, cradle hold, etc. of course, now he's too big for football hold anyway! hng in there; you're doing great!
