Thanks! We have the Graco Quatro Tour Travel System in the Graham print. I will say that it is a great set, it's just that the car seat is soooo heavy! I guess it doesn't help that Sophia is already 15 lbs!!!! I mean, It's great quality and I know that shes safe in it. How are you feeling?

ssmith32s - Friday, 18 April
no, they don't want to take the girls at 34wks but my after birth is sitting on the cervix.if i start having strong contractions i can bleed to death in 30minutes. i've dialated to 1and half already so they just don't want to take chance.i'm in the hospital because they can't stop the contractions, they come like every 10minutes just not strong enough to change my cervix. so when are they going to induce your labor? that hurts more than regular labor.

Nothing still I see!

LOL I totally crack my back too! But I'm REALLY glad you got the inflammation down with ice, that's really great. I was in so much pain last night from my lower back to my knees, but this morning it's a little better after sleeping on my back instead of my side. Hips suck sometimes lol. And I totally agree about male OB's. Females seem to think you can just suck it up but men are more kind.

Antique silver bread forks. Bread forks. As in, forks for bread? Wow. That is truly some amazing gift that you will use daily forever and ever LOL.

Hi hon! I ordered the quilt through www.amazon.co.uk for £9 excl postage - it's very cute, but I will see it when it arrives and let you know! I don't think it's so much a case of "unsafe" things on the quilt for the baby, but all the reading I've done says that you should not use a full quilt on the baby until he/she is at least a year as they overheat very quickly, and because the quilt is not as breathable as the cellular blankets there's a risk of smothering.

I've finally started kitting out my hospital bag. I've still not found any nightdresses, but have everything else, I think! I've also had to take it easy on the cleaning - I'm getting BH like crazy, so am spending a lot of time just resting and drinking fluids. DH is off work sick at the moment, so it also doesn't help that I come home to a pigsty of dirty dishes and clothes and blankets and tissues strewn around the house... men - ever little boys lol ;)

How're you feeling otherwise? I hope your back is a bit better! anyway, I hope you have a fantastic weekend - I love your profile pic btw - such a beautiful bride :)

amberizzle - Friday, 18 April
By the way, what does sweeping your membranes entail?

amberizzle - Friday, 18 April
Aye, we bought a diaper pail and some bedding, but I couldn't get Brian away from the clothes so most of it ended up being that. =/ I keep telling him she has enough clothes but he doesn't seem to believe me. He also got her some toys but he didn't want to buy too much until after the baby shower (which is next Saturday) so that we could better decide what to get. He also might buy a carseat and stroller from his sister, but honestly I'd rather that our baby have her own... I don't know, perhaps I'm being silly about that. But yeah, guys and their toys... he keeps buying her NASCAR stuff (after telling me that I wasn't picking feminine enough items... excuse me?!) and trying to match the stroller and carseat to his car... he's such an annoyance sometimes lol. Why do we love our men?

Scooby-doo - Friday, 18 April
I'm doing good so far. I just can't wait to have her! LOL!

Scooby-doo - Friday, 18 April
How are you doing? Any signs of labor yet?

amberizzle - Friday, 18 April
lol I know right? I can hear God laughing right now. We did have date day, had a few moments of crankiness... I went for my consultation at 10 am... and were there for almost four hours because my OB didn't send the hospital any of my paperwork that they were supposed to send two weeks ago! UGH. I went without food for so long that I had to leave the room to throw up, which is when my boyfriend lost his temper. He'd been up for almost 32 hours working and still had more to do and was sooo pissed that my doctor's office had screwed everything up. After calming him down, the anesthesiologist came in and told me it was okay to have my c-section, so yay! Then we went for the 4D ultrasound. She's HUGE! I have a fat little baby now! Yikes! Brian calmed down after that though and we went to Burlington to shop for baby. We found out that we hate each other's tastes and I started getting really pissed because he only gets her "girl" stuff -- pink and frilly, no other colors. Everything I picked out for her he said wasn't girly enough, and he'd pass up things that were really cool if they didn't fit the stereotype. I got really angry and just stopped talking and by the time we checked out, he noticed and we talked about it in the car and how he's been trying to make all the decisions lately. He apologized and at Babies R Us, he let me pick out most of the stuff and let me get these cute blue onesies with puppies on them. He spent a good $450 on her. Despite our little scraps, it ended up being a really good day, and that night he told me that he promised everything would be great and he was going to make me very happy. I think things have just been strained with us a little because he's so stressed and sleep deprived and I'm so worried about having a place to live. Anyway, I just wrote you a novel lol. How are you feeling lately? What's been up in your life?

ssmith32s - Thursday, 17 April
When is your baby due? and buy the way that is a nice picture of the person in the white dress.
Aleigh and Laila will be here May 3 because I would have a c-section. and will be 34wks at that time. but I am also waiting to have them.

amberizzle - Thursday, 17 April
Yup, I'm having my shower on April 26th. I'm excited, but also a little bummed 'cause it doesn't look like many of my friends are coming (seems to be my mom's friends mostly) and no one is buying off the registry. :( I'll be grateful for any gifts received, but I made my registry purposely to illustrate what we NEED (and sometimes WANT) for baby. Ah well. That's true about toddlers and babies though. Did you ever get the crib or swing?

stlmom - Thursday, 17 April
we used to live in st. louis, and i decided i wanted to be closer to my family with the baby coming and everything- so now we're in chicago, and i never changed my name!

karenc - Thursday, 17 April
aw, thank you! lol, grandmas are truly unique individuals, for sure. you... are... so... CLOSE...!! good luck w/ your L&D and may your contractions be productive!

cynthetamine - Thursday, 17 April
Yup!!!!!!! It's a girl!!!! I'm sooooo flippin excited! FINALLY! with 3 boys already, i don't know what i woulda done with 4 lol! We even have video of the ultrasound. it was awesome! How are you doing?

stlmom - Wednesday, 16 April
hi! i saw what you mentioned in the baby showers forum about target and couldn't agree more! i thought the fact that we had registered thru them would make returns easier, but no way! it was a little discouraging because someone actually told me that they had gone to our registry and didn't like the things we picked out, so went and bought what they thought was best- It makes me feel so selfish and childish, but why even make a registry then! sorry to vent on your page- but good luck in these last few days- I'm jealous you have 3 days left- I've got 10!

ssmith32s - Wednesday, 16 April
Yes, you are correct... and because I have had the children that I've had and can still do what I want to do is let me see that those who seem to can't do it... don't want to do it.I'm a strong person and that is in many ways.
May God bless you with yours.

Hi Hon, thanks so much for the message! Yeh, my mom came back to me eventually yesterday and apologised, but it still really ticked me off. Now it’s to the point where whenever someone asks what we’re calling him, I just say it’s not decided, and even when we do decide, they can all hear it once it’s on the birth certificate! Lol.

I’m feeling alright, I’m just really tired and feeling heavy – still 9 weeks to go, it’s insane, but it’s been so fast in getting to this point! Otherwise I’m healthy as the proverbial horse, and have DEFINITELY started nesting. I can’t stop cleaning, packing, washing, repacking, cleaning some more, cooking, cleaning… It breaks me in half, because I have a really bad back with this PG, but it drives me loopy to sit on my butt for more than a few minutes at a time now… End of the month I get to order the LAST of the baby’s things, and then I know it will start in earnest! Lol. At the moment I’m just waiting for a beautiful quilt which I ordered online, which should be here by the end of the week, which I’m using for “decorative” purposes in the nursery until he gets old enough to be able to use it without risk… and I’m SO excited I don’t know what to do with myself, and am then ordering the borders for the nursery…

How’re you doing otherwise? Holding up okay I hope! Do drop me a line when you get a chance, and thanks again :)

sweet-n-plump - Wednesday, 16 April
Thank you for putting me and my little Miss Tiana in your prayers...thank you for being an encouragement to me and an ear/shoulder....

Heather-08-01 - Wednesday, 16 April
Wow, you must be so excited!!! Congratulations on being so close to meeting your angel =) Yeah, the Graco is defintely a little pricey - I won't be buying it myself, hoping some kind soul will buy it for the shower - otherwise I'm more than happy to borrow my friends FP. I keep trying to tell myself the baby doesn't have to have the best of everything, but OMG it's so hard! Unfortunatley I have really expensive taste without the high income job to afford such wonderful taste - I know I'm not alone here lol. So are you getting nervous now that you are so close? I started getting a little jittery about the delivery aspect right about the 1/2 mark (I think I realized 'holy crap, I have to get this baby out of me eventually'). Keep me posted and let me know how things are going.

Heather-08-01 - Wednesday, 16 April
About the swing - the FP seems nice, but I really want the Graco Sweat Peace cradle - if you go to babiesrus.com they actually have a video you can stream on it and it seems great. Also, if I remember correctly it got higher reviews from moms than the FP. My friend has the FP starlight version and said if we don't get the Graco for our shower we can borrow it - YAY! I think they both seem like nice choices and any baby would be lucky to have either. Good luck =)

Yeah D*Mac deff. is the Man! lol Mitch played QB as a freshman and Damiam Williams played reciver i believe...But I know how it goes going along for the ride its always fun though! Well my RA hasnt been bad since I have been pregnant I am hardly ever sore but it seems like my shoulders and back is starting to ache and hurt alot and when I do get sore its bad but not no worse then before

yvette - Tuesday, 15 April
Not sure of the brand, got it at Target. It is great though, better than the one I had with Cassie. It has the sling for when they are tiny too. Thank you for your sweet comments about the children, the little girl is quite the personality! The little boy is getting there. I hope you have a smooooth delivery.

brown-eyes - Tuesday, 15 April
whats up? i miss u but my baby gurl just gimme short time to check my emails. whats new'?

skyeandlee - Tuesday, 15 April
Thanks for writing! I did tell him about the phobia but I don't think he totally got it until rght before i left, he thought it was just needles. haha I WISH! For some reason the birth doesn't freak me out, if I needed to have an epi for that I think I would be ok becuase there's a BIG reward at the end. I'm actually moving closer to family (we're in austin right now) in massachusettes. I want to be closer to my mom, I have no idea how to take care of a new born!! Otherwise feeling pretty good. I get these pains in my lower belly that can be bothersome. But really every ache that comes with being pregnant doesn't scare me, it's excites me. I love being pregnant! Except for the teeth thing of course. Glad to hear from you. Can't wait to see the new baby! Take care and hang in there. Have you started "nesting"?
