Saturday, 13 September Wow! She is a sleepy baby! Im sure nothing to worry about though! As long as she is gaining weight ect she should be fine to sleep for long periods.
my baby boy sleeps at the most during the day for 4 hours max, some days just for about 2 hours. He always gets tired again though after about an hour of being wide awake after a feed ect.I got worried about this but im told this is normal. He sleeps much better at night now going to bed around 8pm,waking for feed in between 3am & 4am.Back to sleep straight away ( normally falls asleep on breast) Then wakes around 6-7am.This is a great routine for him & me! But god how I would love him to sleep like your little girl! Chat soon xxxxxx njstewy -
Saturday, 13 September Wow that is alot of sleep. I wish sometimes my baby would sleep that much. But i don't think that I would be concerened about it. You just have a sleepy baby. She'll start staying awake more as she gets older gabbana08 -
Saturday, 13 September I read that 3 month olds need from 13-15 hours of sleep. If she is sleeping over that then maybe you should talk to her doctor but if it is around that much then I wouldn't worry about it. :o) What sweet little babies you have!!! ox Leanne ox -

Friday, 12 September 3-month-olds sleep 6-7 hours during the daytime, and 10 or 11 hours a night. Mine takes at least 3, 2 hour naps a day. And he feeds 5 or 6 times a day, taking 5 or 6 oz each time (or if he nurses its anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes). When you're nursing, as the baby gets older his feedings become more efficient; meaning he'll take more milk at one time and space his feedings out. With my oldest son, at 6 months old he would have 7-8 ounces only 4 times a day. (I know this because I was working full time and going to school and had to pump his milk.) Just trust your body to adjust to how much she wants to take at one time. I think that's what my problem is. I never think that he's getting enough (even though he probably is). The fenugreek is definately starting to help though. I haven't had to give him any formula in 22 hours now. :-) luv.of.my.life. -
Friday, 12 September Mine isn't rolling yet either-she has so much personality already though! she loves to laugh. she does sleep alot too-she usually goes to sleep for the night between 11-1am and her wake up varies between 6-9am
i asked my dr about it because most ppl told me not expect a full nights sleep for a long time-but my dr said as long as she's gaining weight ok theres no problem-and i noticed now that she sleeps through the night, she is very happy in the morning and so am i

Friday, 12 September Are you worried that she's sleeping too much? Mine sleeps 12 hours a night now, and has been for about 4 weeks. He takes about 3 naps durring the day, although the times and lengths of the naps vary from day to day. There's no need to wake the baby up to feed her. If she's hungry, then she'll cry. :-) luv.of.my.life. -
