My name is Megan and I am 21 years old. I gave birth to a wonderful baby boy on October 16th 2007. In a sense I really am a single mother. The father of my son ran the minute that he found out I was pregnant. I do have a wonderful boyfriend now that loves both my son and me very much.
Caleb has his problems though he isn't perfect. I think he is having an issue with Acid Reflux. I will find out for sure Feb 6th at his 4 months well baby appointment. He is up and down all the time. Cries all the time like he has a belly ache. He won't sleep through the night and that does get a bit frustrating. If anyone knows anything about this first hand or has an idea on how I can help him some way please let me know.
I will have more updates soon. I hope to get back in touch with all of my old friends :)
~ It turns out that I was right. Caleb has a bad case of acid reflux. The dr was able to give me a medication for it- Zantac- I think that even after this 3rd dose he had it is starting to work. FINGERS CROSSED
UPDATE
4/4/07
Caleb is now almost 6 months old. Getting so big. Two days ago Caleb started having problems sleeping and spitting up again like he did shortly after he was born. I took Him to the walk in clinic to be checked out. It turns out that with Caleb's weight gain and growth in general he needed his medication raised. Not things are GREAT. He is a happy baby again :)
Caleb goes for his 6 months well baby visit on Monday the 7th. I will post his stats then. Good luck to all those moms and moms to be.
