Found out on October 22nd that I was 6 weeks pregnant. Definitely unexpected but very welcome!
On January 14th I found out that I'm having a BOY & his name is Brayden Joseph. Also found out that picking a name for your child is a little more difficult than I originally thought it was going to be.
My friends have all more or less ditched me since I found out. I know they say "you find out who your true friends are" but it's a little dissappointing when you realize that maybe you never had any true friends to begin with. Even my 'best friend' of 8 years doesn't even speak to me anymore. But I've accepted that fact now & I'm just glad I have my family there for me. :]

Oh wow! I love the picture! I need a close up of the baby though. How adorable! You look great too! Not at all like I did. I looked really drugged up! I am so glad to hear that everything went good for you. It sucks you had to push for 3 hours and end up with a c-section though. I had one too but it was scheduled. The worst part was the epidural. They had to try 4 times to get it!. I will post pictures tomorrow. I have to go my little one is crying.

Hi there. I have been wondering about you. How did everything go? I want to see pictures. I will be posting mine today. Everything went perfect and our little girl is healthy and georgeous. What I do is medical transcription which is every time a doctor or PA sees a patient they have to have a written report on it. They record their report and send it to me and I have to type it and send it back. The hardest part is understanding them. I worked for 2 years in the medical records department in the hospital and loved it. I had to move to a town of 500 people so that is why I went home or I would have stayed there forever. I personally went to a community college for 9 months on a part-time basis as I had to work my way through waitressing. I took 2 classes the 1st semester and 3 the 2nd and it was easy. I know there are even community schools here that allow you to go to school at home or at the college and offer job placement afterwards. The hard part is finding a job to hire you without experience so it is nice to find a school that does it for you. You might want to look at a place on the internet called career step. It seems to be one of the better ones or look into the schools in your area. I get paid by each line I type. I get 10 cents a line and type about 175 lines an hour so it equals out to about 17.50 an hour on a good day. A lot of transcriptionist do better than that but I am just not as good as they are I guess. Another field that I thought would be nice to go into is medical coding which is a higher paying job. I am not sure how long you have to go to school for but it shouldn't be too long and there is so much room for advancement in that field. Also-I had a friend that was a single mom (don't know if you are or not) but she went to school and got it all paid for and her rent and bills paid while she was doing it through her social service worker. How great would it be to be able to go to school and take care of you baby without having to worry about bills while you were doing it! We were supposed to get married in June but when I found out I was pregnant after trying for 6 months (we just couldn't wait) we decided to go to Vegas and get married. A lot of the reason was for health insurance as it wasn't that important to us that we were married. Sometimes I think we should have waited, LOL. I would spend some of my down time looking on the internet and researching some of the medical jobs out there to see what you would like best. After you have made a choice start looking at schools and programs to help pay for them and maybe even someof your expenses. Who knows it might even help you spend some more time with your little one. Keep me updated. I think that I am about to give up on the whole working thing for now as my Give a Shit seems to have gone out the window at this point!

Yeah, I definitely don't want a c-section either. I had a vaginal birth the first time around and I plan to have a vaginal birth this time around! Hopefully all goes as planned! Today marks 38wks. Come on little man!!!! Hahaha! I think I'll pray to the vagina gods too!

So exciting! I wish I knew when my little man was going to come! Hopefully it's before Tuesday at noon! That's when my Mom leaves. LOL, yeah... Having your vagina intact makes for a speedy recovery! LOL I'd imagine it would be as painful. I had to have stitches and man I was sore for about 2wks. At least it isn't as bad as a c-section!

Well I hope your weekend went well. I am a medical transcriptionist so I get to work at home and usually I like it but lately I just want to scream. Not much longer and I get some time off.
I had an ultrasound and went to the doctor yesterday. She had told us she thought the baby had turned but had been wrong once before so we did an ultrasound to make sure. My husband kept feeling and telling me no her head is up in your ribs. Well my husband was right. She is still breech. I refused to try to let them turn her so next Tuesday we schedule an c-section for 39 weeks. Two more weeks! I am so excited. I can't wait to see her and start getting back to my normal weight. I have gained 75 pounds! I have always been skinny so it is really starting to get to me now. I started out at 103 and now am at 178. I never in my life thought I would get up to this weight. I hope you are feeling good and the baby comes. Let me know if anything starts to happen for you.

I had tried getting a different pain reliever with my first, just something through my IV but it didn't do a thing so I ended up getting the epidural. I agree on the c-section thing. I think it should only be done if absolutely necessary. There are so many people now a days that just get it done so that they don't have to feel the pain of labor. I don't want to be induced either. I just want it all as natural as possible.. Besides of course, the epidural. I don't want an episiotomy, I'd rather just tear. Which is what happened with my first so I'm expecting it this time around.
