Hello all you mommy's and daddy's to be!!!! Ok...a little about myself...my name is Megan and I am 27 years old. I am a mother of two beautiful children with one on the way. I am married to the most wonderful man who truly is my very best friend (sounds cheesy and a little nauseating..but still true). We were married in June of 2007 and decided to try and conceive in September. We were shocked that it happened the very first try...I found out that I was pregnant on September 29th!!! My first two children were with my previous husband (married and divorced at a young age) and they both were planned only by God himself = - ). It was fun to actually try and get pregnant this time around. As with my previous two pregnancies...it has not been the most smooth. On October 18th, I was in the emergency room with huge amounts of bleeding. We went in for an ultrasound prepared for the worst and were extremely grateful to see that tiny flashing little spot. I was then in the hospital with bleeding again on the 23rd and 26th of October...both times once again fearing the worst. It was decided in the end that we had been pregnant with twins and unfortunately one did not make it. Of course the ER doctors were not the most compassionate and put in our heads that there was a very good chance that we would loose the other one. It was very hard to be excited and every little twinge of pain that I would feel in my belly sent me into tears. However, I am happy to say that today (1/2/07) I am 18 weeks pregnant with a very active and healthy baby. I am excited to have found this website and look forward to making new friendships. I feel like an Ummpa Loopa, but oh well it's all worth it. I think my height and frame hide the weight I've gained I'm up to like 32 lbs now. HELP!
