My name is Melisa and I have 2 beautiful boys. Just found out I am expecting another bundle of joy. My due date is July 28, 2008. I am very nervous because my history with pregnancy is not good. This is my 6th pregnancy and only have 2 boys to date to show for it.

I found out yesterday that I am having a girl. I am so excited! I love my boys but a girl will be a nice change of pace. I didn't plan on having any more children but I am glad God has blessed me with 1 more. I guess retirement will have to be put off for a while longer :) I cannot even begin to explain the joy I am feeling. I never thought I would get to have a girl and watch her grow up to fall in love and get married. My boys will be great defenders of their little sister, that I am sure of. They are great protectors of their mother! My 2 year old will yell at my husband if I cry, he thinks daddy made mommy cry! If he only knew about hormones!!! Oh well, I am truly happy at this very moment.

Hi sweetie, I wish I had no bloody class, I am having assessment after assessment if not in my home then on my work and I have so much to do I am going crazy. Not long now until a good long break from work, just rest.
I am having my first weekend off in 2 weeks and I have spent it doing the housework and I am so in pain I did way too much and not sure if I can finish it tomorrow. I am feeling really good I am having the occasional nose bleed nothing too serious and pelvic pain badly but coping with day to day work when I can. I do have a myspace account but I do not put much on it I will have to find it out for you or let me know when you are on. Do you have yahoo? I can talk to you on that and sign in to myspace lol.

I know how you feel about the 30 weeks I will be 20 weeks on Sunday and it still hasn't sunk in yet. I am going on holiday for the first 2 weeks in June and when I get back I am getting bunk beds for my 2 kids and getting baby stuff in the little bedroom it is getting to me but not as bad as bloody lack of maternity clothes it is driving me crazy. I am telling you I so wished I lived closer to you too, there would be so much we could do and say, but the distance isn't going to interfere and we can be as close as next door neighbours biggest *hugs* xoxoxoxoxoxox

I feel your pain! I have had 3 UTI's since getting pregnant. It is not fun...I just drink a ton of cranberry juice and wait for the antibiotic to kick in. Hope you feel better soon!

I have one boy aged 12 and have had four miscarriages and I really can't believe this pregnancy is going so well. I'm having another boy but am so pleased he will have an older brother looking out for him. I just can't wait to meet himm for the first time. The 4D scan I had was so nice you could see all his features and I felt so close to him. Counting the days now. Good luck to you XX

Thanks for the tip - I have cut back on soda in the last month or two, but I have still been eating chips, fries, etc. and I was thinking I should cut those out. Are there any other foods really high in sodium you can think of? I eat a lot of cookies and cakes, etc. due to cravings :) How many ounces of water do you think you drink per day???

Yeah, that was from the director. She isn't even on site so she has no idea. I am so hurt. I feel like they crossed a huge line. I am far from a bad parent and that's what she's implying. I want to report her but I don't think reporting her to the licensor is the right place, so I have to dig deeper. I have an appointment with a daycare tomorrow. I needed to switch to a place that would take the baby as well anyway but this is just added stress i don't need right now. Thanks for all your input, advice, and listening to me rant lol

I found out yesterday that I failed my 1 hour glucose test so now I have to do the 3 hour one tomorrow, OH boy! Like you I can't get enough sweets! I could go without eating anything even remotely healthy and just eat sugary things. I hope you pass yours though! let me know how it goes~ :)

Thank you! I have worked with kids too and know that it's normal. I was just mad at how they handled it. He was isolated for a 1/2 hour until I got there. I am really upset about this and considering switching daycares. Thanks for reassuring me that it's normal.

I wouldn't worry too much about the test. I also have had insane cravings for sweets, pastries and ice cream during my pregnancy - especially the last couple of months. I try to cut back, but this baby girl demands it! I took my glucose test at 24 weeks and everything came back normal :) Good luck!

Thanks for writing me..Yeah they told me to come in if the spotting doesnt stop...Ive had my feet up all night so i hope it stops....I have to work all day tomorrow so we will see how that goes!....How have u been doin in week 28?

LOL! You sound like me! All I want lately is ice cream, soda, and cookies and I am not a sweets person at all. Don't worry, just don't eat the morning of the test and you should be fine, mine came out ok and I have been really bad! Congrats on your little girl :)

Ohhhhhhhhh good call. I didn't even think to put Alexander together with Jayce. I didn't name my first son and didn't like the name at first, it wasn't a common name 6 years ago. This one I am really struggling with. I really like Jayce though, I think it't a cute kid's name then when he gets older he can just be called Jay if he likes. Elizabeth Grace is cute, your hubby did good.

WOW 2 finals I bet you are beside yourself and already in the semester mentally right lol. I hope all goes well with the scan please let me know how it all goes. If she is not active enough have a mars bar or something before hand I promise you she won't be asleep with the scan hehe.

I am feeling pretty good and have had a smile on my face for over a week now and feeling great. I still have not had any movements and am not worried in the slightest and I have a monitor and can hear baby move and I am happy with that. I have my scan on the 29th and then on the 31st May have a holiday for 2 weeks and I will be doing nothing and I am so looking forward to doing nothing, oh yeah, I am doing good, I have enough homework for all the world but I am slowly getting through it. It is always nice to hear from you, how are you feeling in your self? I hope all is well with you and the family big *hugs* xxxxxxx

My doctor didn't seem at all concerned because she said she usually couldn't pick up a heart beat until week 13, but I have always heard it right away before, even at week 10. So I think I'll just book another appointment in a week or two. I still feel like crap! So I guess that's a good sign. Thanks for the suggestion, it's probably beating away in there... somewhere!

My legs are aching so bad and have been all week. I read somewhere that the extra weight can press on blood vessels and cause a decrease in blood flow, causing achy legs. Elevating and walking can help circulate your blood. Ice packs can be soothing...and of course the cure for everything-drink alot of water. This has been the worse week yet for me. The achy legs and pubic bone along with extreme fatigue. After work, I cook supper and head to the couch. I've been falling asleep around 7:00!
