My name is Melisa and I have 2 beautiful boys. Just found out I am expecting another bundle of joy. My due date is July 28, 2008. I am very nervous because my history with pregnancy is not good. This is my 6th pregnancy and only have 2 boys to date to show for it.

I found out yesterday that I am having a girl. I am so excited! I love my boys but a girl will be a nice change of pace. I didn't plan on having any more children but I am glad God has blessed me with 1 more. I guess retirement will have to be put off for a while longer :) I cannot even begin to explain the joy I am feeling. I never thought I would get to have a girl and watch her grow up to fall in love and get married. My boys will be great defenders of their little sister, that I am sure of. They are great protectors of their mother! My 2 year old will yell at my husband if I cry, he thinks daddy made mommy cry! If he only knew about hormones!!! Oh well, I am truly happy at this very moment.

ok i just got back from my 3 apointments.. this is how it all went.. NST- everything eas good had 2 contrations while i was there. sono- everything looked good baby gained .5 pounds so now he is 4 pounds still a pound underweight. blood flow and everything was good. all other mesurments were great. i lost 3 pounds. then with the doctor he is schedualing my induction for 2 weeks.. so at my 37 week i will be having my baby he wants to have the baby july 8 but the hospital is booked. so he said he would call meback tomrrow with a date... so thats whats going on. ill do all 3 again next week

I feel your pain about not sleeping!

I woke up 3 times to pee and then every hour I woke up from my hips aching. At least your hubby wakes up! Mine just snores thru it all. I felt horrible all day yesterday. I tried to clean house but had to take a break about every 10 minutes. I wish I could stop working but I guess i'll be here until my water breaks...lol. It sucks but hopefully it will be over soon.

I just had an appointment Friday, and everything looked fine. I am noticing definite movement, so that makes me feel better. I just get a little worried when I see so many people talking about how their babies move all day long and keep them up at night! Makes me feel better to know that I am not alone with a little one who isn't like that. Thanks!!

I'm glad you are feeling better. Please keep me posted when you have the baby and how it all turned out for you. I will do the same. I have a dr appt Thurs. The last time I was 1/2 cm dilated and I have the same signs I did the last time I gave birth. Have a great day cutie :)

Melisa, you are so sweet to post your story. Thank you! I don't know this girl in person; I've been part of an infertility message board with her for quite a while. I don't know what treatments she underwent in the beginning. She first came to the forum asking if anyone had any experience with donor embryos. It's been SO hard for her because she's done in vitro and it hasn't resulted in pregnancy. She's VERY pessimistic about ever getting pregnant because of the PCOS and the fact that her husband has fertility issues, also. I gave her the link to my page on this site so that she could see all the comments (there are about 22 now) about PCOS pregnancy success stories. I don't know if she's come to see them, but it's so nice of all of you to have come in to share. Perhaps you'll hear from her. Thanks again! I'm so glad you got pregnant. thanks so much, the advice is so reassuring, im just hoping ill be able to lift my two year old out of bed and into her chair and everything when dh goes back to work...hes going to take two weeks off when i get into the hospital...ill definetly talk to the hospital too, i have to go for a maternity registration appointment in two weeks and i guess thats when they go over the birth plan too, so hopefully theyll have a lot more to say then...thanks again...

I have lost a total of 7lbs since the beginning of my pregnancy, so I havent gained anything. My doctor is okay with it as long as the baby is growing he said everything is ok. Its not common but it happens sometimes.

i dk i was in hospital last week with contractions thatwhen i actually felt them were really bad muscle pain in my back i thought i had pulled a muscle but the nurse felt my stomach and said nope thats a conteaction but i wouldnt put it past me ha the cramping is better today tho so im hoping itll just pass... how have you been doing lately???

You will be a role model for your daughter and how she see's herself will depend greatly on how you teach her to see herself (you must not say in front of her "I look fat today", or anthing remotely close to that. Teach her to love herself the way she is. My daughetr is 2 and I already have her looking the mirror and telling herself how beautiful she is. My parents never gave me the love and guidance in life to love myself. I learned on my own, and you my dear will too :)

I Hear ya girlfriend. Us women are our own worst critics. I used to be one of the most insecure women on this planet. I had what is known as Body Dysmorphic Disorder. Everytime I looked in the mirror I seen a warped image of myself. It got in the way of me living a happy, successful lifestyle. I have learned to love myself the way I am, with the fat, stretchmarks etc. I have realized that I live inside this body that God has given me. I am so grateful to be alive. My body does not define me, what is inside does. We can choose to self reflect in a positive light or negative. The choice really is ours.

I didnt speak to my husband all weekend! He slept on the couch. We went to my daughter's dance recital in seperate cars and didn't even sit together! After a couple of days I realized my hormones were raging and I should probably talk it out! We're fine now, Im sure you and your hubby will be too.
