My name is Melisa and I have 2 beautiful boys. Just found out I am expecting another bundle of joy. My due date is July 28, 2008. I am very nervous because my history with pregnancy is not good. This is my 6th pregnancy and only have 2 boys to date to show for it.

I found out yesterday that I am having a girl. I am so excited! I love my boys but a girl will be a nice change of pace. I didn't plan on having any more children but I am glad God has blessed me with 1 more. I guess retirement will have to be put off for a while longer :) I cannot even begin to explain the joy I am feeling. I never thought I would get to have a girl and watch her grow up to fall in love and get married. My boys will be great defenders of their little sister, that I am sure of. They are great protectors of their mother! My 2 year old will yell at my husband if I cry, he thinks daddy made mommy cry! If he only knew about hormones!!! Oh well, I am truly happy at this very moment.

Thanks! If I ever have to see that doctor again it will be too soon! I have tried a couple of the techniques on spinningbabies ...the one where you prop your butt up with pillows for 10 min., and the swimming, but I've only gotten him to go transverse(sideways), and after sleeping all night I usually find him fully breech again.:0(
I'm reluctant to try the one where you lean forward down the stairs, because my placenta is anterior, and I'm paranoid about compressing his cord.I can't get an ECV either because of the anterior placenta. I still want to go to a chiropractor and get the 'webster technique' done.

I'm feeling decent. Trust me I have my moments though It's noting compared to what alot of other women are going through. My feet are officially blimps that never return to normal size and my fingers are always numb (hence all the typos).....other then that it's tiredness if I over do it....but i'm really enjoing being at home and getting so much done....i didn't even realize how much i had to go...I had thought all this time i was pretty prepared.....most people think that i'm not going to make it until July....i've seriously dropped and Cole is absolutely HUGE in me....I look like I swallowed a beach ball and i just don't know how much longer i can handle being pregnant....can't wait to be able to sit up on my own.....

How are you?>? How did exams go???

well i went to my doctors and he didn't want to check me to see if i was futher dilated:( he said that i was feeling alot of pressure because i am dilated and affaced. He doesn't think i will make it to full term but he can't be to sure. I hope i dont have to wait till the end of the month to have the baby because of a;ll this pain

what symptoms are you having (you think may be preterm), besides the nausea. I am in preterm labor and I have the poops quite often during the day. If you are, you may want to get ready to have the boo boo. This happened with babay # 1 too, and 2 weeks after the poops started, I had her 2 weeks later. Hope this was insghtful (I know gross, but its reality)

Thanks! I spend a lot of time in there. I find myself just walking in there throughout the day. I guess it is just the anticipation of Shelbie getting here. How funny about the uniforms. I can't wait to get to wear my scrubs again. My boss was nice enough to let me wear regular clothes to work since I work in an office. Looks like I will have a vaginal birth now since the previa is gone. Hopefully she will come before July 30th!

Hola. The reason (not sure, but logically speaking) your butt hurts is because as your pelvis is opening from the front and spreading, it can't help squishing the back part a little bit. Imagine like opening a chicken down the breastbone, and peeling it back. Kind of squishes the backside thru rotation. I figure thats probably why your tailbone hurts too. If you can find a way to stretch your butt, it'll really help. I'm a dancer, so am pretty flexible, and so can still stretch it, but I'm not sure how a "normie" would be able to reach that spot. Um. Try standing about 2-3 feet from your bathroom or kitchen counter. Lift a leg (with your hand, if you have to) and plop it on the counter so that your lower leg is flat down, sort of making a 90 degree angle with your thigh, and your lower leg is in a straight line parallel with the edge of the counter. Now lean forward with your torso only (from the waist) over your leg thats up. You ought to feel a little pull in your butt that way, and your belly shouldn't get in the way, hang out like that for at least thirty seconds, and then go a little futher over your leg, and so on. Keep it up for about two minutes, then switch. It'll stretch your butt muscles, and should relieve some of the tension around your tailbone. I had bad back problems, and my physio finally found out that it was because my butt was so tight....

hi i noticed ur comment on someone elses page about your tailbone and having to push and so on (lol) did ur doctor call u back yet???? Causethat has been happening to me also. But i am also already dilated and have been in the hospital. I think the baby is going to come this week or next week but i dont know what the pain in my tailbone could be. Please when u know can u get back to me? Thank u

I noticed your comment about having dropped...everybody keeps commenting on how much they think I have as well and I too think our guy is still breech...we go for an u/s on Wednesday to see his position and possibly turn him...i'll keep you posted...michelle

Hello stranger I am sorry it has taken me a while to reply, i have just come back from 2 weeks of shear and utter hell of a caravan holiday, I won't go into it now but I enjoyed what I could, I was so bloody uncomfortable, but home now and feeling more relaxed. Sounds like you had the same in your holiday.

How are you feeling? I am doing good had another GTT today and hopefully all will be great. I have put my scan pics up for all to see, keep me posted *hugs* xoxoxoxoxox

Just curious, why did they take your 2nd early? Maybe my 2nd will come early too! I'm enjoying the summer as long as Im in the airconditioning or if I have to be outside, I prefer to be in the pool! I don't look like my profile pic anymore! It was at like 27 weeks. I've gained a whopping 40 lbs. I feel big but not like a blimp or anything. Maybe Im carrying alot of fluid. Have a great day!

yeh... pain relievers dnt seem to work for, even a hot bath doesnt do much. but i dont htink its labour coz i can still feel the baby movin up high, but u can always be safe then sorry. i will contact my midwife today

Hi! I have a question, how long do you think it will take me before I can ride my horse after the c-section? I would love to hear from someone that acully has been trough one:)
Iam just starting to feel a little uncomfortable with the tought of cutting up my stomac now, but I quess I would be nervous about a vaginal birth to by now:)
Thanks for the advice about get up and movig around I will try to do it fast! How are you feeling now?

Read your post about being afraid your little girl will be ugly. I think we just try to find things to be worried about. I have had that thought as well about my little boy. We have many u/s pics and I just can't get a clear view. I have no idea what to expect!! I think we're are all going insane!!!!
