My name is Melisa and I have 2 beautiful boys. Just found out I am expecting another bundle of joy. My due date is July 28, 2008. I am very nervous because my history with pregnancy is not good. This is my 6th pregnancy and only have 2 boys to date to show for it.

I found out yesterday that I am having a girl. I am so excited! I love my boys but a girl will be a nice change of pace. I didn't plan on having any more children but I am glad God has blessed me with 1 more. I guess retirement will have to be put off for a while longer :) I cannot even begin to explain the joy I am feeling. I never thought I would get to have a girl and watch her grow up to fall in love and get married. My boys will be great defenders of their little sister, that I am sure of. They are great protectors of their mother! My 2 year old will yell at my husband if I cry, he thinks daddy made mommy cry! If he only knew about hormones!!! Oh well, I am truly happy at this very moment.

Hi Melissa. Sometimes people think it's funny to say to pregnant women "maybe you're in labor...." To me, it just sounds like you have some type of a bug. The pain in your leg may be due to pressue from the baby on your spine, which could be the cause of your pelvic pain as well. If you are not having any spotting, contractions, and if your baby is moving...then I wouldn't worry too much. if you feel "not normal" then I would call your doctor.

Hey Melissa...I read your comment about having to nap daily...I hear you there! I too have to slow down daily and find I tire easily. Unfortunately I have to work for another 29 days (but whose counting!) I just pray that I don't have to stop work earlier and be on bed rest due to high b/p...its creeping up there (124/76) and making me nervous...I guess your 2 other kids are keeping you busy during the day...keep smilin' michelle

Hello! Ive been feeling the exact same way. I've been really tired throughout the day but I can't sleep at night. I have no excuses either since I'm done with school and I only work 2 days a week... and have no kids! Also, my belly has been pretty itchy and achey too!

I have been really tired too. My other son is 6, so I don't really remember a lot of the minor details of pregnancy. I thought tiredness was in the first tri but I guess it comes back in your 3rd.

I am so asking for them to do one lol. I think I should get one more. I've had 3 but still...I had 2 in the first 2 months, then one in the 4th. Now that the head isn't shaped all funny, I wanna see again. My doctor's office doesn't print out the ultrasound pics, they email them to you and she didn't email me the anatomy ones :(

Hi sweetie, I wish I had no bloody class, I am having assessment after assessment if not in my home then on my work and I have so much to do I am going crazy. Not long now until a good long break from work, just rest.
I am having my first weekend off in 2 weeks and I have spent it doing the housework and I am so in pain I did way too much and not sure if I can finish it tomorrow. I am feeling really good I am having the occasional nose bleed nothing too serious and pelvic pain badly but coping with day to day work when I can. I do have a myspace account but I do not put much on it I will have to find it out for you or let me know when you are on. Do you have yahoo? I can talk to you on that and sign in to myspace lol.

I know how you feel about the 30 weeks I will be 20 weeks on Sunday and it still hasn't sunk in yet. I am going on holiday for the first 2 weeks in June and when I get back I am getting bunk beds for my 2 kids and getting baby stuff in the little bedroom it is getting to me but not as bad as bloody lack of maternity clothes it is driving me crazy. I am telling you I so wished I lived closer to you too, there would be so much we could do and say, but the distance isn't going to interfere and we can be as close as next door neighbours biggest *hugs* xoxoxoxoxoxox

I feel your pain! I have had 3 UTI's since getting pregnant. It is not fun...I just drink a ton of cranberry juice and wait for the antibiotic to kick in. Hope you feel better soon!

I have one boy aged 12 and have had four miscarriages and I really can't believe this pregnancy is going so well. I'm having another boy but am so pleased he will have an older brother looking out for him. I just can't wait to meet himm for the first time. The 4D scan I had was so nice you could see all his features and I felt so close to him. Counting the days now. Good luck to you XX

Thanks for the tip - I have cut back on soda in the last month or two, but I have still been eating chips, fries, etc. and I was thinking I should cut those out. Are there any other foods really high in sodium you can think of? I eat a lot of cookies and cakes, etc. due to cravings :) How many ounces of water do you think you drink per day???

Yeah, that was from the director. She isn't even on site so she has no idea. I am so hurt. I feel like they crossed a huge line. I am far from a bad parent and that's what she's implying. I want to report her but I don't think reporting her to the licensor is the right place, so I have to dig deeper. I have an appointment with a daycare tomorrow. I needed to switch to a place that would take the baby as well anyway but this is just added stress i don't need right now. Thanks for all your input, advice, and listening to me rant lol

I found out yesterday that I failed my 1 hour glucose test so now I have to do the 3 hour one tomorrow, OH boy! Like you I can't get enough sweets! I could go without eating anything even remotely healthy and just eat sugary things. I hope you pass yours though! let me know how it goes~ :)

Thank you! I have worked with kids too and know that it's normal. I was just mad at how they handled it. He was isolated for a 1/2 hour until I got there. I am really upset about this and considering switching daycares. Thanks for reassuring me that it's normal.

I wouldn't worry too much about the test. I also have had insane cravings for sweets, pastries and ice cream during my pregnancy - especially the last couple of months. I try to cut back, but this baby girl demands it! I took my glucose test at 24 weeks and everything came back normal :) Good luck!

Thanks for writing me..Yeah they told me to come in if the spotting doesnt stop...Ive had my feet up all night so i hope it stops....I have to work all day tomorrow so we will see how that goes!....How have u been doin in week 28?
