My name is Melisa and I have 2 beautiful boys. Just found out I am expecting another bundle of joy. My due date is July 28, 2008. I am very nervous because my history with pregnancy is not good. This is my 6th pregnancy and only have 2 boys to date to show for it.

I found out yesterday that I am having a girl. I am so excited! I love my boys but a girl will be a nice change of pace. I didn't plan on having any more children but I am glad God has blessed me with 1 more. I guess retirement will have to be put off for a while longer :) I cannot even begin to explain the joy I am feeling. I never thought I would get to have a girl and watch her grow up to fall in love and get married. My boys will be great defenders of their little sister, that I am sure of. They are great protectors of their mother! My 2 year old will yell at my husband if I cry, he thinks daddy made mommy cry! If he only knew about hormones!!! Oh well, I am truly happy at this very moment.

LOL! You sound like me! All I want lately is ice cream, soda, and cookies and I am not a sweets person at all. Don't worry, just don't eat the morning of the test and you should be fine, mine came out ok and I have been really bad! Congrats on your little girl :)

Ohhhhhhhhh good call. I didn't even think to put Alexander together with Jayce. I didn't name my first son and didn't like the name at first, it wasn't a common name 6 years ago. This one I am really struggling with. I really like Jayce though, I think it't a cute kid's name then when he gets older he can just be called Jay if he likes. Elizabeth Grace is cute, your hubby did good.

WOW 2 finals I bet you are beside yourself and already in the semester mentally right lol. I hope all goes well with the scan please let me know how it all goes. If she is not active enough have a mars bar or something before hand I promise you she won't be asleep with the scan hehe.

I am feeling pretty good and have had a smile on my face for over a week now and feeling great. I still have not had any movements and am not worried in the slightest and I have a monitor and can hear baby move and I am happy with that. I have my scan on the 29th and then on the 31st May have a holiday for 2 weeks and I will be doing nothing and I am so looking forward to doing nothing, oh yeah, I am doing good, I have enough homework for all the world but I am slowly getting through it. It is always nice to hear from you, how are you feeling in your self? I hope all is well with you and the family big *hugs* xxxxxxx

thanks for your input! i've decided to take the class and have signed up for it. I do want to keep busy because I'm not working and I do feel great (so far) lol. just hope the professor will be understanding as you said. congrats on your girl! i am having a girl too.. less than 3 months away, hang in there! =)

My doctor didn't seem at all concerned because she said she usually couldn't pick up a heart beat until week 13, but I have always heard it right away before, even at week 10. So I think I'll just book another appointment in a week or two. I still feel like crap! So I guess that's a good sign. Thanks for the suggestion, it's probably beating away in there... somewhere!

My legs are aching so bad and have been all week. I read somewhere that the extra weight can press on blood vessels and cause a decrease in blood flow, causing achy legs. Elevating and walking can help circulate your blood. Ice packs can be soothing...and of course the cure for everything-drink alot of water. This has been the worse week yet for me. The achy legs and pubic bone along with extreme fatigue. After work, I cook supper and head to the couch. I've been falling asleep around 7:00!

Ahh yes....the infamous cleaning for the inlaws....lol i'm a queen at half assed cleaning that looks fantastic.....Swiffer was a wonderufl invention and so was Febreeze LOL....I find that spraying the furniture with febreeze quickly running a swiffer over things and then adding some scented oil to the vacuum and doing a quick over...does the trick LOL....also windexing the taps in the bathroom and kitchen so tehy shine...jsut little things that make it look pristine but don't take a lot of time or work....you have enough going on with out a full blown cleaning LOL....(ps also in my defense I do, do real cleanings but usually when you ahve people coming over you ahve so much else to get ready that you never have time - as long as it smells pretty they don't notice the small stuff)

Hello! I was the the klutz who fell in the shower a couple of days ago. You're right, it was a very long weekend and was very nervous going to my doc's appt. today. But thankfully everything turned out fine and my baby boy is still doing great. Next time, I'll be extra careful and definetly call my doctor sooner. Thanks!

Well MAy sounds like it's going to be a super fabulous month!! Lots to look forward to!! How was your weekend?? I had my 3D ultrasound!! It was soooo incredibly amazing!! Check out my photos!! Yes i'm getting tired alot too...just a couple of times a week I have a 3-4 hour nap when I get home from work.....it usually keeps me going....that extra boost....and then both days on the weekend same thing in the afternoon....gotta take care of ourselves!! You look fabulous in your photos BTW!!!
