So happy to be here :)

Expecting baby #2, hoping everything goes well this time around - the first pregnancy I had really bad anxiety - so bad I had to stop working. I think it was from my thyroid medication so I am trying to monitor everything closely this time.

First pregnancy was a little crazy, on top of the anxiety, I had Gestational Diabetes and boarderline high blood pressure. When I went into labor I was in the hospital for 24 hours and when my baby was finally welcomed into this world, he stopped breathing. It was probably the most tramatic experience any mother could ever dream of. I laid there as they worked on him in the corner of the room, not telling me if he was dead, alive or going to be ok. Thankfully he started breathing, they think it was stress from the labor - he was face up and side ways and I was in labor for 24 hours because my water broke and I guess I was starting to get infection. He was in the NICU for 5 days we we got to bring him home on New Years Day which was such a joy. He is the happiest, friendliest and most handsome little boy I have every known. I love him so much and I am so happy I am going to be able to give him a brother or sister to play with :)
