Hey, nothing here yet!
Sunday, 30 Mar
Hi. I found out on January 22 that we are pregnant again! The goal was to start trying to conceive after Christmas. Turns out I am very fertile - only took 1 month of trying. I am already the mother of one boy, Justin, who is turning 3 yrs old in April 2008. He is such a joy and the light of our lives. I can `t wait to see how he `ll handle being a big brother - I know he `ll be great! I am so glad I found this website to share with other people out there who are going through the same things as me! I look forward to meeting some great people! Congrats on everyone `s pregnancy! Good luck!

28.3 hours ago Hi! I'm inclined to gain a whole lot of weight too. Thankfully never had gestational diabetes, but I've already gained 10kg - I'm 20 weeks (that's somewhere around 20lbs I think) and that's less than I gained with my last two. Feel like a whale waddling around the house! : ) kirstie -
30 hours ago crap i should really watch what i eat then! lol i get a lot of pizza and breads! but im guessing i need to get healthier lol but is it in your family history? kirstie -

Friday, 9 May Thank you so much, it is very hard, just to think 2 wks ago everything was good, God bless you as well. proudpreggers -
Friday, 2 May i there! i know how you feel with the bathing suit situation...i think i had a melt down a couple weeks ago, it was the first time I had ever felt horrible about my body. I bought three of them with the adjustable side tie bottoms.....they will grow with you and the side tie will hide muffin top (God knows i need that!) victoriassecret.com has some great ones and cheap too. plus, you can wear them after the pregnancy because you can make the bottoms smaller! brilliant! summerx -
Friday, 2 May ps. i'm in NC so u know it already beach season for us! Hope you find one you love. summerx -
Friday, 2 May i got a brown swimsuit at motherhood acouple wks ago----but it's already too tight! Agh! Oh and I don't really like the bottoms- how they come up high on the lower belly. I think I'm gonna go to target and just get a bikini that's bigger and say the heck with it- tummy wants some sun too =) Good luck to u=) amber325 -

Thursday, 1 May hey sweetie, just saw your post about over the counter cold meds. i'm sure you've gotten alot of different answers, but i looked through the "pregnancy" handbook i got at my "first time mommy" class, and it says Tylenol, Sudafed, and plain Robitussin. of course you should call and get your docs ok before hand.
hope you feel better! shelley-rose -
Wednesday, 30 April Hey ya, I have just gotten over a cold. I went to the pharmacist and he told me I should be having any thing other than vit C, lemon and honey drinks and a fesh chicken soup! Couldn't even have the sore throat lozengers.. Apparently they have methol and eucalyptus in them which is highly toxic for baby?
So yeah pretty much Vit C and lemon/honey drinks. haleyd226 -
Wednesday, 30 April I keep the list from the doctor of the common medicines you can take and what not to, and the things that it says for a cold that you CAN take are, mucinex, robituss dm. For nasal congestion you can taketylenol cold and sinus(but not longer than 3 days). Also, they say to eat chicken noodle soup b/c it has anit-viral properties and will boost your immune system. Hope this helps!!!! marinegf -
Wednesday, 30 April i was told for a cough i could take robitussin DF or DM. ....hope that helps some! Julie-n-Chad -

Monday, 21 April oh, totally :D usually when i hear stories/read up on things I get less freaked out... *sighs* I guess I am just not a surgery kinda girl (although I'm still contemplating boobs, go figure!) but knowing that it doesn't hurt forever really does help :D
muchos thanks again ! happyinvention -
Saturday, 19 April thank you for all the info :) it didnt help calm my nerves at all (i think ive got a phobia- and nothing really helps that) but i do like having information and first hand experiences!
gastro is just a birth defect where the baby's intestines are outside of the body and have to be put back in at birth.
thank you again for the story :) it was all very appreciated :) sugarbear8907 -

I know alot of ppl in health care and have heard recently that a bad virus has been going around that gives you trouble out of both ends. :(~ Its probably that. At least it will go away in a few days or less vs preggo symptoms that can hang around a while. I hope you get feeling better soon! MOMMI~NICOLE -
