Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

I just read your message about keeping your baby, I am so proud of you, you are a very strong woman, and no it is not wrong what your doing. My situation was kinda similar and I too decided to raise my lil boy alone...I was going to marry his father, but once my lil boy became sick at 19 wks gestation I too told him there was no jr...so keep your head up, and everything will work out

I agree with everyone else. My bd told me the same thing and I haven't talked to him since. Now Kymani is 2 months old and I couldn't be happier raising him on my own. Congrats sweetie! Babies truly are a gift from God. It's the most precious gift any woman could receive. I mean think of how many people and trying and trying to conceive and have been for years with no luck and as for you telling him that you had an abortion I don't think that was the smartest thing to do. You should have just told him that hey if you want to be immature and not man up then do you. He betta remember karma is a something else. But at the same time I feel you for doing it since he now thinks he has no connection to you whatsoever and no reason to ever have to even think about contacting you. Again congrats and I wish you all the luck and blessing in the world! I pray you have a healthy pregnancy and baby!

Babies are a gift from God. Keep the baby, raise him/her with love. Who cares about your partner, you have no choice when it comes to if you were ready or not to have a baby...unfortunately he does. I never understood the full impact and beauty of having a baby, until they put my son in my arms. Luckily, I have the full support of my husband...But, you can do it on your own...remember that child inside you is truly a gift.
