everything went well at the appointment today, i didnt get the amniocentesis done. based on the blood test and the genetic screening and counseling, i opted not to risk a miscarraige, because everything seemed to be well. they took about 100 pictures of the baby, even each individual finger! and counted the bones in them! girl i was there from 830 til 330! whew im tired!

Hi, how are you? I am good! I just wanted to tell you that I had my baby boy on June 2, and he wasn't due til June 23! I had a huge bleed on May 28 and it was sooo scary to wake up in the middle of the night like that, but neither I nor baby had any ill effects, which to me was a miracle. They think my placenta was just so low and that was the cause. So, I stayed in the hospital until he was 37 weeks and ended up with a C section since I started bleeding again when I was induced. But, he came out 7lb 5 oz and is absolutely beautiful! I hope you are doing well and I wish you luck in the next month or so while you wait for yours to show up!!

Thank you for your response! I'm glad I am not the only one. My doctor didn't even mention it- but it really freaked me out! Every time I have brought up weight he tells me that the women that worry don't need to be- the ones that don't are the ones that should. Good luck with your pregnancy :)

lol, such a funny story. I'm going through the same thing too. Luckily i have loud fans at night that will drown the noise out. My problem is during the day. They are so uncontrollable and deadly. lmao. i have had some luck with Mylanta gas tablets. Hope that gives you some relief. It does suck being pregnant. You gain all this weight, not very attractive, and your tired, and you got bad gas. It's just not fair to us women. But the good thing is, us women will go back to normal after but our men will continue to swell and be gasy. lol

I know how you feel getting tired so easy! I took a shower yesterday and I felt like I had just gotten done running a 5k...lol I hope that isnt a sign that my body wont do well when it comes to labor

I am so there with you on the tired thing. It seems like everything I do, makes me so tired!!!! I just cant wait to have my little one so I can try to get my energy back by excersizing!!! (lol we will see about that)

Yes, exhausted...that's why I don't even take showers anymore, I just fill up my sink with soapy water and do it the old fashioned way. It takes me about half an hour to walk up my steps and then my legs ache and I'm out of breath...lololol...

I got an infection both times and couldnt breast feed my last two babies who have suffered from nose and ear infections. I hope to turn it around this time and breast feed for as long aa I can.

I read your comment about the weight gain. I know it's easier said than done, but stop stressing - you're doing great, we're almost there! I worry about the gain too - I'm up 22 lbs so we're right there together. Not sure but you seem sort of tall like me- so the pregnancy weight doesn't make you look round anywhere but your bump

I'm moving too! I want this baby to wait as long as possible. I have to be out by Aug 1 and our new house isn't done for another 2-6 months....so, we're staying with family until then. I feel soooo disorganized!

Rx Azelex and over the counter MaMa lotion. Both are safe to use during pregnancy. (http://www.dermstore.com/) I actually noticed a difference in the darkness after a week or two. But then I was up in the mountains last week/weekend and outside early morning until late evening. Argh! Laura Mercier makes a great camoflauge that works pretty well, and I'll have to try the Clnique. Like you mentioned in a post, it's summer and who wants to spend lots of time applying makeup on a hot day! Anyway, if you have luck with something else, let me know. (isn't it funny how relatives feel like they can ask anything? lol My mom asked me if the same thing after we got back from Arizona. I was like, Hey Mom - thanks!)

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one getting dark spots on my face, but I wish neither of us were! I'm wearing SPF 85 - and a hat outside, but it just is a bummer. I'm trying to not let it get me down and I'm hoping like hell it goes away after the pregnancy. I'm using a few things that are safe to use during pregnancy that *help* diminish the hyperpigmentation, along with my 85 SPF. If you are interested in the names of the products (one is a prescription) let me know. And if you have any thing that works, please share! :) How have you been feeling? Just a few more months for you - yay!

wow, all i got was a ultrasound before the amnio, i dont know if it was a level two but the paper he gave to me said "measurements" and he said everything looked good, and he said the placenta looked good to... i dont know what the placents had to do with ds but i just said ok, and the ultrasound wasnt even 30 mins it was like 10mins.. so now im wondering why didnt i have a NT or a long ultrasound.?? it was like in and out, so im really not sure what happend that day, and i wonder why, if everything looked good .. well why didnt my chances of ds go down..?? now i wish i would of asked more questions BUT U KNOW WHEN U HEAR THE GC SAY 1 IN 50 OR 1 IN 81..U DONT HEAR ANYTHING ELSE AFTER THAT. I WAS SO NERVOUS AND SCARED I DIDNT ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS! that makes me soo mad. well i should be getting them soon i did the amnio last tuesday and i called yesterday to see if there were in and they said no.. so im still waiting. but next baby.. im forsure not doing that test again. well thankyou so much im soooo happy ur story ended up having a happy ending.. i hope mine will tooo! thanks again!

hi , i have a question did u do an ultrasound before the amnio?? did they see anyt hing abnormal? when they did mine they said everything looked good. and when they gave u a ratio like mine was 1 in 50 what was urs?? after they found that everything was normal. did they say why u were at risk? sorry. im really worried and i know youve been through this so to . well thankyou so much take care... sorry im a bug
