My profile

This is my first child and I am a wee bit scared about the whole thing. Life takes some crazy turns. A year ago and abit I was on my own thinking that God's plan was for me to learn to live a fulfilling life as a single woman. In my head I was thinking "well, if I am going to be single I should start some new adventures soon". Almost as quickly as I thought that I started dating my significant other... we moved in together and got engaged... now little bambino is on the way. Its all very fast and at times overwhelming but I trust that God has a plan and this is how it is supposed to be. Perhaps the man above felt I already learned how to be fulfilled as a single independant woman and now its time to learn something new.

Tuesday, 22 July I'm so sorry for your situation!! I didn't think I'd get so many responses from people who couldn't stand their jobs! I feel better knowing that I'm not alone. Hang in there though- I'm in debt myself (from college). Let me know how things work out! Englandgirl -
Tuesday, 22 July Hate hate hate the tears!!! Can't stop crying then stress thinking if I am sad then maybe baby is sad - this of course makes me cry even more!! Hope it stops soon x. jasmine1 -
Friday, 18 July It's my first pregnancy too...and I just started showing. Yesterday I was trying to get dressed to go out and my jeans barely buttoned! I was like wtf. It sucks cause all the cute maternity clothes are expensive, like juicy couture...wouldnt it be nice? lol xodeviousgirlox -

Sunday, 29 June Micheemoon... I didn't take offense at all, I'm sorry if you thought I did. I was more tickled by it than anything.
I was just trying to make YOU feel better knowing that I'm only going on 12 weeks and am in like a 3 or 4X in big girl clothes JUST to be halfway comfortable. I typically wear loose clothes and I'm usually like a 2X although I could probably do like a 1X, but I don't like anything tight fitting. And now that I'm ALREADY blowing up with this being my third I'm just feeling like a whale.
What really gets me when I say I'm expecting and people say "really"? AS IF I'M just FAT like this normally...come on now? I'm a BIG girl but not THIS BIG!
Once again sorry if I came across like I was mad because I'm not and boy get all us pregnant gals in a room and I suppose we could misunderstand one another? All these wonderful hormones!!! Yikes! Feel free to keep in touch..Tina

Sunday, 29 June Hi.
I felt a little fat first as I though it was sticking out a lot for being this early. I'm too growing sideways and have almost lost my waist completely. However, my husband love it and keeps telling me that I'm having a beautiful bump and he loves touhching it and kissing it as well as feeling my non-exising waist as he tells be that that's the way a beatuifylly pregnant woman should look like. So, I think thanks to him I'm not too bothered by it. However, it does anoy me that I can't zip up my thrusers at all. I already had to buy one of those bella-bands things.
I hope you'll get your ultrasounds soon so you can see your little baby and hear its heart beat. Remember, it's the way we're suppposed to look at this amazing time of your life and I hope it won't bother you. It's beautiful! babybirdsmom -
Sunday, 29 June Michee I feel your pain with going up in sizes. I am going from an 8/10 waist to 12 not being able to button my pants. Yes I know if I strap on maternity it may still be 8/10 with elastic but it is mortifying for someone who was 200lbs and worked so hard to be 150 and now baby is putting it all back on. After baby weight watchers and gym membership here I come! Right now if I want to eat it I do, and I am too tired and out of shape to work out.
Congrats on not being sick for 3 days! stacidrake -

Wednesday, 25 June Well I can keep snacks in my desk drawer but there's constantly something that needs to get done around here- like bringing patients in or EKG's, injections, etc. So lunch is the only uninterrupted time. I'm really stressed Spike -
Tuesday, 24 June hi, i just read your coment about traveling, and i just want to say that i travel a lot!
it was so much easyer to just take my newborn and go, and i gfound that after about 6 months of age, it does get a bit harder but it is still doable.
i remember when i was pregnant everyone used to tell me that the baby would change my life and i wouldnt be able to do alot of the things i did, like travel alot but honestly all you need extra with a bay is a first aid kit, babys clothers napies wipes powder and a few blankets and your set!
it was considerably harder once formula and baby food were involved but still manageable!
best of luck anyway bugtwist -
Friday, 13 June Hey there, just wanted to let you know i'm in week 30 and i've been taking 2 flinstone complete childrens vitamans since i found out about it =) The prenates i was given were so harsh on my BM's it was not worth it.. The flinstones do include plenty of folic and basically everything else you need except enough calcium.. Be sure to take a calcium supplement even if you continue a prescription prenatal, for the recommended 1,200mg a day or so. Best of luck to you!! bostonmom4 -
Thursday, 12 June I saw your comment in week 9, my prenatals are making me SICK to my stomach!! They smell horrible too. I have to chop them up in tiny pieces and even then I have my breath because of the smell .. within 20 mins of taking them I'm sick to my stomach and (sorry to be gross) But dry heaving.
If you have any luck trying something new let me know.. I'm going to the drug store tonight to see if they have another brand because I haven't taken mine in three days. cissy -

Thursday, 5 June I read a comment on your page about circumcision and I was thinking about getting it done if I have a boy but then this women on this site that we are on sent a video to me showing how they do it to the newborns and I cried and could not believe the pain they were in, I know they dont remember but I dont think I could do it now....She removed the video and I still dont know who she was and why she sent it to me, weired...Up to you if you get it done for your son cause I do think it is cleaner and better for boys to have it done but now I know how they do it and no way for me.... Wednesday, 4 June Hey I came across a site where I saw your question about circumcision. I just wanted to share with you that they took my son at 6 weeks to have his done. He was too small ( 4lbs at birth ) They gave him some sugar water and in a few minutes they brought him back to me. He wasn't crying, he was just snuggled in his blankie fine. I didn't realize I could give him tylenol, I thought he was too little.. I wish I knew it then, but oh well.. I just kept lots of vaseline on it the first couple days so it was protected... it healed really nicely and he has a "normal" looking penis now. I don't think there is anything to be scared about.. they don't remember it and it's probably like getting a girls ears pierced. The way my son had it done was a plastibell.. it was fast easy and recovery was fast as well, about a week.
