Birth story: Well, I woke up Wednesday, November 14th at 3:30 am with a a pretty good contraction. I laid there for a wile waiting for another, but nothing, so I tried to go back to sleep. About 45 minutes later I had another, but it wasn't too bad, so I didn't think any thing of it and tried to go back to sleep. Right as I was dozing off I had another about 30 minutes after the last, but again it wasn't too bad. I decided I'd get up. I got up and started a load of laundry. I went to the bathroom and noticed a bit of bloody show, which is pretty common for me. Around 5 am I had had a few random contractions and decided it may be labor, but they weren't very painful, so I figured it would be awhile. I showered and finished the laundry and then woke my husband up a little after 6 am. It just happened to be our 4 year old's birthday also, so we woke her and gave her her gifts and balloons. I was still not feeling too bad, but contractions were pretty close 3-4 mins. We decided to go to the hospital. When we arrived at 8 am they checked me and I was at an 8-9, so good thing we came over. I walked the halls a little and then my midwife came, even though she officially was off and no longer worked for my clinic she came in to deliver my baby boy. I was so happy. After pushing through a few contractions my baby boy, Braxten Dane was born at 9:53 am. He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and was 20 inches long. He is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! I couldn't take my eyes off of him and still can't!
