Thursday, 25 September Yeah, as much as I want my little man to come out asap, I'm also kind of hoping they won't induce until next week to give him a chance to come out on his own!! I'm so torn! I want him now, but I'm so nervous about being induced!! My husband called me and told me that a friend of one of his co-workers is a week and a half overdue, and she went in to get induced yesterday..was on pitocin for 9 hours and she didn't dilate at all..so they sent her back home!!!! Unbelievable! If that's not the most discouraging story, I don't know what is!! I've never heard of that before, so I imagine that never happens (I HOPE!!)
Anyway, I hope all went well with your d/a! Let me know how it went!

Tuesday, 23 September Thank you! I don't think we're gonna do much for the anniversary considering the circumstances, but I think this whole situation is a gift in itself! Although I would LOVE to have a nice bottle of wine with him, LOL!! Ahh well, it is what it is..
I'm so glad the late part of pregnancy was in the summer! Even though it's hot, at least I can wear flip flops all the time! I can't get into any other shoe!! I would be SOL if it were winter time! Thank GOD it's temporary!!!
I know what you mean with the tummy hurting.. mines in pain all the time, although I'm pretty used to it.. but the left side of my belly is sooo tender b/c my little guy keeps rolling his feet in the exact same place over and over!! OHH it's so uncomfortable! I have a wedge pillow that I put under my belly so it doesn't hang while I'm laying on my side in bed; it actually helps a lot! But I HATE rolling over throughout the night; I have to carry the belly with me to the other side! LOL..ughhhh..
Let me know how the membrane strip goes; my doc never mentioned doing that for me.. and I don't have my next appt. till friday, booooo! I hope that works for you!! nettie27 -

I just need to remember to breathe and remember that my little man will be here in a bit over a week MAXIMUM!! Crossing my fingers for this week though!! LOL.. my hubby's and my 4 year wedding anniv. is on Thursday; watch him come then.. just our luck!! LOL Labor dust to you!!!

Monday, 22 September That's insane of your Dr. What is wrong with ppl??? Your Dr. of all ppl knows better, ugh!!! How bout you and me just relax, ignore everyone that is full of unwarranted anxiety and watch our babies come naturally? If my Dr cant give me a good reason to induce then I'll just wait. If there is some convincing evidence that my baby could be in trouble then I'll be happy to get her outa there. Until then, we're staying attached. Hang in there. I'm thinking I may tell my Dr. I'm willing to induce at 2 weeks unless there is a problem. If we're willing to go 2 weeks, I doubt it'll take that long.:) Baby3onway -
Saturday, 20 September family of 5 now YUP!! SOfar things are great but have been having trouble with the 10month old getting to bed. Not sure if it has something to do with the baby or timing being coincodence... I know hes not sick though cause the Dr ruled that out. Other then that the kids love him, the oldest (she'll be 3 in Nov) holds the baby every morning and night and gives him a bottle (breakfast and dinner) which she never did do with her first brother. The 10 month old looks for him when he cries and pets his head and makes noises at him hen he cries. I LOVE IT! Baby3onway -
Thursday, 18 September My first was a day after her due date... I was induce with pintocin with my second at 38.5weeks but I was also 4cm for nearly 4 weeks. I know you don't want to be induced and all but really its not as ad as you maythink. The cathedar thing wasn't used with me but a friend of mine had it done and she said it was painless and she opt for it rather then csection. Hang in there hun, you still have time to go into labor on your own, even if you dilate some before then they may jsut give you the drugs, break your water and away you go. I understand your being bummed out... hang in tehre and try not to think about it, you still have time to pop! kathy=^.^= -

Thursday, 11 September You are not the only one who isnt anxious for the "birthday". I think its kinda crazy how ppl are talkin, like they are over due or somethin, lol! Anyways, I just have things I'd like to get done still so I'd like her to come anytime so she doesnt get bigger and make it harder to birth her BIG head but on the other hand, everyday I dont have her I am able to get more and more ready crossing things off my to do list so that is nice too. I have been feeling great though and some ppl are miserable so that helps tremendously I imagine. Happy Labor day to come :) neenee1971 -
Thursday, 11 September Thanks for your comment. It isn't so much impatience on meeting her as wanting to hit the dentist and have this tooth ache taken care of as well as take sinus medication. I am a gastric bypass patient and am limited to what medicines I can take now.
