Last visit on December 12th, my children and I were able to hear the babies heart beat! The kids loved it and hearing that helped put my mind at ease too! I go on January 15th...hoping to find out the gender this visit. I can't wait!!!
I have had this headache now for two weeks straight! Called my doctor and he said it's probably a sinus infection because of the fact I recieve no relief from Tylenol nor a break in the pain. I can't wait to finally feel better!
Well, the antibiotics definitley worked! Yah!!!!! I went to the doctors yesterday, Jan.15th, and was told we will find out what we are having on my husbands birthday....Feb.11th! I can't wait!!! Everything is looking good so far. I am 14 weeks and 5 days....so week 15.........here we come!!!!!

Last appointment was March 10th, it was a real quick one. Heard the heartbeat...sounded nice and strong! (I love hearing it!) I voiced some of my concerns, the main one being the tightness that remains in my lower abdomen almost all day. He had stated that this is around the time that the Braxton Hicks starts and it is not uncommon for them to be like the way I am describing. I also stated that eating meat has become completely disgusting for me. I can't even stomache chicken. He had stated that as long as I am taking my prenatal vitamins and drinking plenty of milk, it is fine. (which is a relief!) Unfortunatley, he was called into surgery and could not do an ultrasound this time. My next ultrasound will be April 7th. At this time I will be able to find out if my placenta is still low lying or if it has moved up some. I am excited to see the little guy again...yeah!!!! Since my last post, we have determined the nursery decor is going to be done in a sailboat/nautical theme and our baby boys name is going to be Peyton James-Paul. Until next time............
So it's been awhile since I have wrote anything regarding my appointments. I have just posted the ultrasound pictures I had done in April. He is soo beautiful already! Everything looked okay. I do have a low lying placenta still, but I was a planned c-section anyways and am experiencing nothing as far as risks are concerned. I should take it easy they said, in response I laughed. I have two bubbly little girls and a loving hubby that helps with nothing. :) The ultrasound tech said the babies due date is showing July 7th and so the Dr. changed my c-section to the 3rd. I feel I'm going to have him earlier though. No real complications or anything...knock on wood.... I am starting to go every two weeks now, which means I am all that much closer to being able to hold little Peyton! I can't wait!!!!! Baby hugz to all!
On May 24th I went to the hospital because of a low dull backache and constant urinatation. I assumed it was a uti or something. They hooked me up to the baby monitor and the monitor was showing I was having contractions every three minutes! Crazy...I never felt them!! So, they gave me a shot of Rotradine to stop the contractions and within about a half an hour it worked. They also checked to see if I was dilated and I wasn't at all. So, I was sent home. I kinda had mixed feelings about this. I truly feel that I am further along in the gestation period and kind of wanted to stay and have the baby, so I was a little sad. But, after thinking it over, I figured I want him to be the healthiest possible and so he'll come when he's ready, there won't be any stopping it when the time is right. So, it has become a waiting game now. My contractions are stronger, but not frequent and I'm showing small signs here and there that he's getting closer to making his big debut. I go on June 2nd for my next appointment, we'll see! ;)
So this appointment I am measuring 37. Like I have expressed before I just have this feeling that the doctor is off on the due date of my little man. He said that I am probably just going to have a big baby, but I don't know. Both of my girls were under 6 pounds 5 ounces. Nothing significant was done. Heartbeat was great...I love hearing that! I go again in two weeks, if I make it that long...hehe! Until then.........
So, I found this on another members page...it's pretty cool actually.
Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.
What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be sunny. Your baby will arrive in the evening.
After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 18 inches long. This child will have hazel eyes and dark hair.
But there is more. Although you may feel tired, your pregnancy will be over before you are truly ready to let go of having this precious baby you have all to yourself. I sense that you will look back and long for these days. I suggest doing something now to preserve some memories of this time. Many women enjoy making a belly cast. Perhaps you would be interested, too.
