Last visit on December 12th, my children and I were able to hear the babies heart beat! The kids loved it and hearing that helped put my mind at ease too! I go on January 15th...hoping to find out the gender this visit. I can't wait!!!

I have had this headache now for two weeks straight! Called my doctor and he said it's probably a sinus infection because of the fact I recieve no relief from Tylenol nor a break in the pain. I can't wait to finally feel better!

Well, the antibiotics definitley worked! Yah!!!!! I went to the doctors yesterday, Jan.15th, and was told we will find out what we are having on my husbands birthday....Feb.11th! I can't wait!!! Everything is looking good so far. I am 14 weeks and 5 days....so week 15.........here we come!!!!!

Last appointment was March 10th, it was a real quick one. Heard the heartbeat...sounded nice and strong! (I love hearing it!) I voiced some of my concerns, the main one being the tightness that remains in my lower abdomen almost all day. He had stated that this is around the time that the Braxton Hicks starts and it is not uncommon for them to be like the way I am describing. I also stated that eating meat has become completely disgusting for me. I can't even stomache chicken. He had stated that as long as I am taking my prenatal vitamins and drinking plenty of milk, it is fine. (which is a relief!) Unfortunatley, he was called into surgery and could not do an ultrasound this time. My next ultrasound will be April 7th. At this time I will be able to find out if my placenta is still low lying or if it has moved up some. I am excited to see the little guy again...yeah!!!! Since my last post, we have determined the nursery decor is going to be done in a sailboat/nautical theme and our baby boys name is going to be Peyton James-Paul. Until next time............

So it's been awhile since I have wrote anything regarding my appointments. I have just posted the ultrasound pictures I had done in April. He is soo beautiful already! Everything looked okay. I do have a low lying placenta still, but I was a planned c-section anyways and am experiencing nothing as far as risks are concerned. I should take it easy they said, in response I laughed. I have two bubbly little girls and a loving hubby that helps with nothing. :) The ultrasound tech said the babies due date is showing July 7th and so the Dr. changed my c-section to the 3rd. I feel I'm going to have him earlier though. No real complications or anything...knock on wood.... I am starting to go every two weeks now, which means I am all that much closer to being able to hold little Peyton! I can't wait!!!!! Baby hugz to all!

On May 24th I went to the hospital because of a low dull backache and constant urinatation. I assumed it was a uti or something. They hooked me up to the baby monitor and the monitor was showing I was having contractions every three minutes! Crazy...I never felt them!! So, they gave me a shot of Rotradine to stop the contractions and within about a half an hour it worked. They also checked to see if I was dilated and I wasn't at all. So, I was sent home. I kinda had mixed feelings about this. I truly feel that I am further along in the gestation period and kind of wanted to stay and have the baby, so I was a little sad. But, after thinking it over, I figured I want him to be the healthiest possible and so he'll come when he's ready, there won't be any stopping it when the time is right. So, it has become a waiting game now. My contractions are stronger, but not frequent and I'm showing small signs here and there that he's getting closer to making his big debut. I go on June 2nd for my next appointment, we'll see! ;)

So this appointment I am measuring 37. Like I have expressed before I just have this feeling that the doctor is off on the due date of my little man. He said that I am probably just going to have a big baby, but I don't know. Both of my girls were under 6 pounds 5 ounces. Nothing significant was done. Heartbeat was great...I love hearing that! I go again in two weeks, if I make it that long...hehe! Until then.........

So, I found this on another members page...it's pretty cool actually.

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be sunny. Your baby will arrive in the evening.

After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 18 inches long. This child will have hazel eyes and dark hair.

But there is more. Although you may feel tired, your pregnancy will be over before you are truly ready to let go of having this precious baby you have all to yourself. I sense that you will look back and long for these days. I suggest doing something now to preserve some memories of this time. Many women enjoy making a belly cast. Thanks for the reply. Men are just boys at heart I suppose but sometimes it sucks a bit!

I got my last one at 32 weeks. That was my 3rd one. I am done. I'm not sure why it is less accurate, but everywhere I have looked tells me the same thing. Pregnancy is a crazy thing, it's nuts how everything is "normal"

Good Luck to you!

mati - Friday, 6 June
No prob...I had the low lying placenta thing too, but it moved up around week 32. i think that there might be another routine ultrasound around 34-36wks? not sure my pregnancy has been anything, but routine. but i have a friend who mentioned she was having one soon and she had the text book, picture perfect pregnancy. i can't imagine why she would have one, so perhaps its the norm. good luck and best wishes.

ya i guess i can only wait now haha. ya i have my bags packed. thank goodness! haha no they didnt do the swab. o on top of all this i have a bladder infection too!

lilmama1 - Friday, 6 June
they really didnt say anything about the leaking. they said sometimes that happens when you get an internal exam which i had one on monday so they said it could have been just from that who knows! i wonder when i will have her! haha

lilmama1 - Friday, 6 June
thank you for the info! i went to the doctor today for the pains i was having and i am 2 CM dilated and 80% effaced. I came home took a nap and woke back up, went to the bathroom and lost my mucus plug. i couldnt believe how much blood there was now its like a brownish discharge coming out! i wonder how long unti i have the baby!

mati - Friday, 6 June
ultrasounds are how we are finding out the weight. typically people don't have them very often unless your pregnancy is considered high risk. mine is and i have monthly examines to measure growth (jus an estimate though)

tara-k - Friday, 6 June
Yeah, I had a sonnogram today. I thought everyone does around 35 or 36 weeks and then they can tell you how much they weigh (an estimate)

Mindieswan - Friday, 6 June
I was reading your post on the 35wk forum. I went to have an U/S at 32 weeks and the tech told me that my baby was 4.8, I freaked. I thought holy crap, she is huge already. I had a doctor appt a few days later and the doctor told me that the tech was wrong. She said (and I have read) that U/S are less and less accurate the further along you are. The doctors can't really tell you an exact weight of the baby this far along. A few people I have talked to have agreed that what they were told was wrong. My cousin was told her baby was 6.14 at 33 weeks. When she had him at 40 weeks he was only 6.5. I would take it with a grain of salt..

i was reading what u left on the 36 weeks site about ur symptoms and there is really no reason for the doctors to keep u in the hospital. i mean ur symptoms could be early labor but they might not be also. but sometimes i feel like i just want to go to the hospital and stay there until the baby is born just to make sure i get my epidural on time or just in case anything happends. so i can't really blame you. it seems like at this far into pregnacy we look for any sign of labor and sometimes make a bigger deal out of things cuz we want to meet our baby and have out bodies back. sorry i wrote a ton, and good luckj

greenrose - Saturday, 31 May
Thanks for sharing the labor & delivery info! I didn't get nauseous last night - and I'm wondering if I'm drinking enough water. But I definitely feel like crap ALL the time! My next appt is Thursday so I'm going to try to hold out until then. Thanks for sharing!!

blessed-in-atl - Friday, 30 May
I am not sure if it depends on your doctor or not, but my doctor told me if I went into labor before 34 weeks the hospital would give me meds to stop the contractions and shots to help mature the baby's lungs. He said after 34 weeks, they would just let him come!

Rachel918 - Thursday, 29 May
Sounds like your baby wants to come out now!!!! I have heard that the diahrea and the throwing up is prepairing your body to be empty for labor. Good luck if you do have the baby and hopefully its healthy and you are too!

peanutontheway - Thursday, 29 May
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who can't tell if she's peed herself or not, LOL! It made for a nice practice run for my BF though, I think now he is better prepared.

tylersmom - Wednesday, 21 May
Where you nauseas because of the spinal? Does the spinal hurt going in? I'm sorry I don't mean to bother you, now that I'm having a planned section I have to much time to think about everything, as with my first it happened so fast I had to just go with it.

mommaloo - Tuesday, 20 May
Yes ALOT I thank god that the placenta is there or else he would fall right out!! LOL It almost feels like my cervix is going to break at any min. I am glad that my input help a little bit too. I have done a lot of research on Placenta Previa, and it says that with a low lying placenta it has a very good chance of moving so maybe that is what your doctor is counting on as well, but even at that with mine being a complete previa, I have an ultrasound scheduled to see if it has moved, if not they will do an amnio and deliver. This is not anything to mess around with, so I would def be talking to your dr about your feelings!! In fact I am being seen every week now as it stands cause it causes bleeding and if you start to bleed you need to call an ambulance ASAP dont take the chance of driving that is how serious Placenta Previa is. I dont mean to scare you but if your dr isnt shooting it to you straight someone has too. Hope you feel better and we are almost there!!

tylersmom - Tuesday, 20 May
Did you have c-sections with your first two? I had a section with my first after 16 hours of labor that didn'y progress and I have a narrow pelvis, just wondering if you had a spinal block because with my first I already had an apidural in place, but this time they are using a spinal, if so how was your experiance

tylersmom - Tuesday, 20 May
I had a similiar situation, I'm due July 9th and my c-section was planned for July 2nd, which would put me at exactly 39 weeks, but the hospitals are becoming more strict and are not allowing c-sections 39 weeks or earlier unless there is a problem, so my section was moved to July 7th, so it may depend on your hospital.

mommaloo - Monday, 19 May
Well I am a little torn between feelings...I have a complete Placenta Previa which means I to have to have a c section!! My original due date was July 12, 2008, and like you is measuring bigger. My doctor said that it is not good to have anything in the vaginal area this far along with placent previa (or low lying placenta) it could cause you to bleed and deliver WAY too early, this could be the reason for you OB not checking you. I feel that yes you should be delivering in June if your due date is is in July. My scheduled c section is June 20 my doc said I cant go over that or I have a chance of going into actual labor and that is not what you want. Dont be afraid to ask questions and demand what is right. This like you is my 3rd and both prior have been 3-4 weeks early. I stated this to my OB and that is why she will deliver me so early. So again dont be afraid to speak your mind, only you know what is right for you little one!!

Hi MissyH! No:-( The pic is not my belly. I found it on the internet, but I got the idea from my sister. When she was pregnant with my niece she would lay flat on her back & the baby would push her foot out every time! I can feel a foot but I haven't been able to catch it:-)
