Monday, 20 October Thank you for that! I was hoping that would be the case, but you never know. Ty's appointment isn't for another couple weeks which is just about long enough for me to go insane thinking about it! roseyleeE -
Friday, 17 October Hi thank you for your message. The Health visitor came round and caught me in my mid morning panic attack. So it all came spewing out anyway. She sent me off to the docs to get a prescription for fluoxetine (anti-depressants). I should be on the mend soon hopefully. Its scary as hell and i am frightened to be on my own but my hubby has been signed off to look after us both. Thx again for your message. xx Kikiea -
Wednesday, 15 October Hi! My son is almost 11 months and still doesn't specifically say ANYTHING! He babbles a lot and even with different pitch and tones in his voice, but I haven't heard any "real" words yet.... I keep waiting.. and each day he gets closer and closer to correct pronunciacian... but nothing that I understand yet! frigomom -
Wednesday, 15 October We keep cheerios and puffs on his highchair tray at all times. So everytime he is eating he can sit and play with them...and now of course he will sit and eat them too. I think having them around all the time made him curious and eventually made him make the connection. Good luck! frigomom -
Wednesday, 15 October I just read your post about your babe just playing with the finger food and not eating it. Kinda funny cause I was having the same issue until about a week ago. My son all he would do is play with his cheerios but would never eat them. I was discussing it with a few of the girls on here and then that night he finally just figured it out and started popping them into his mouth. It was like the switch flipped in his head and he figured it out. He is 8.5months old so he took his time figuring it out. I wouldn't worry if I was you...it will happen when the time is right. Just provide lots of opportunities for him to eat them. We often fed them to him, ate them in front of him, etc to kinda help him along. Good luck! karmas*mommy -

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
