Thought I would tell you more about me and Daddy and our plans...

About Me .. Mommy...

I am 22 and a mommy to the best puppy named Odie. He is a 3 yr. old pug who I LOVE with all my heart! I currently just graduated college from the University of Cincinnati with a BBA/focus in accounting and a certificate in Arabic. I am currently working at a small accounting firm in auditing and love it but want to do bigger! I am also taking my CPA classes to review and sit for the CPA. I want to complete this before the baby is due in Feb.

I have the best family and friends ever and I could not ask for more support from them. I am an only child and love that!

My pregnancy was not planned but I believe everything happens for a reason and God has a plan! I really want to have a baby boy but I have a feeling it is a girl but as long as the baby is healthy and happy, I am ok with either!

I am originally from Tampa Florida and miss my mom and step dad but our plans may just put me back there ....

About Daddy...

His name is Andy and he is wonderful. He is the best thing that could have ever happened to me! It was love at first look! He is 25 and is currently an officer in our area. He is 1 of 5 children and has twin sisters!!

People who see us say we look like a celebrity couple, that we are so perfect for each other. HaHa They say that our baby is going to be so gorgeous and I just know it will!

We had planned to get engaged at the beginning of 2009 and married July 2010 but the baby had made a lil change in that. Most people hurry and get married when they find out they are pregnant but we are the opposite. I have decided that I want to wait until after the baby is born to get engaged. I do not want to get married for the wrong reasons! I want it to be because we cant live without each other, not b/c of our child. Single parents are great parents as well. Those marriages are more difficult and I do not want that for us. I love him and I know he loves me so we want to do what feels right for us and that is to wait!

I know that we will be together forever, he is my soulmate and my Mr. Perfect!

July 6th 2008

Hello ALL! We have just finally told most of our friends and family and they are excited! It is day 1 of week 10 and we are just praying and countingdown the days until the first trimester is over! I go back to the Dr. on July 21 and hopefully everything will still be healthy and happy!

I had some spotting and cramping last week and that was really scary but my Dr. checked and told me everything was going great. I am trying to exercise and eat healthy but I am just sooo tired it makes it difficult. I am still having dizziness and a hard time getting food in my belly but I am trying!

So, I am 16 weeks and 1 day today!! We go back to the doctor on Wed. Aug. 20 for our monthly check-up! Usually my Dr. will do an ultrasound between 18 - 22 weeks but I am going to see if she can do it early since we will be on vacation and then shortly after we are moving.

I am a little sad that Andy will be moving 3 weeks before me and I will be without him but his job calls and I have an obligation here with work so it is okay!

So I am SUPER excited that we will be having a little baby BOY!!! All of the test came back with great results! My grandma and I even went out and bought the baby some outfits today, only a few hours after we found out it was a boy! Love it!

I think that Andy and I have decided to NOT move after all. All of his family is here and have offered to help in many ways. I also cant see myself leaving my grandma! I LOVE HER TOO MUCH! He was also offered a job here with another police force so that was exciting! My mom and step dad are bummed but they understand that it is hard to leave everything you have ever known!

So Andy and I went to the Dr. last Friday and got great news about the baby but not so great news about me. The baby is doing fine and is measuring from head to feet at 13 1/2 inches and 1.5 lbs! His heartbeat is very strong and he is moving all over the place. As for me, my blood pressue was 142/94 which is pretty high. I have never had an issue with my BP until now. I had a pretty stressful weekend and knew this week would be just as bad so I am hoping that is all it was and not something more serious. We have to go back this Fri. the 24th to recheck my BP and then discuss what to do about it. I also have to go next week for the glucose testing and I am hoping everything comes back ith great results!

So I went back to the Dr. Friday the 24th and my blood pressure was 132/80 so much better than the week before. I have really been watching what I am eating and trying to relax. I still hope the BP was up just b/c of the stress of the weekend and not something more serious. My Dr. wants me to go back in 2 weeks (Nov. 7) just to keep a close eye on it to make sure I do not develop toxemia later on. Please keep the baby and I in your parayers and I will keep you posted.

As for Jaxon, he is moving like crazy. He kicks so hard sometimes it almost takes my breath away! He kicked Daddys's hand away the other day lol. Andy and I went to the pumkin patch and bought 3 pumpkins. 1 for Mommy and Daddy, 1 for our puppy Odie and 1 for baby Jaxon! I wish he was gonna be here for Halloween and but he will be next year!!!

We also bought all of his room decorations and bedding. It is sage green and brown, sooo cute! We are going to paint an accent wall in his room green and the other walls tan on Tuesday. We are trying to do it before it gets too cold so we can leave the window open since I cant smell the paint! I am getting sooo excited for his arrival and this is only week 26!!!

We go to the Dr. tomorrow for another check on my BP. I also had my glucose test done this week so I will find out those resuts as well. We also schedued our 4D ultrasound today yeaaaa we go on Nov. 20, I am soooo excited!

I am a litte upset because I just weighed myself and found out I have gained 16 lbs. and still have 12 weeks to go. I am affraid I am going to be a blimp :( I know that weight gain is normal but I have gained it all here in the past 6 weeks. I lost weight in the beginning!

I have also found out that I am going to be having 4 babyshowers! One on Dec. 13, one on Dec. 14, one on Dec. 20 and one on Jan. 10 .. I am excited but that is so much at once!

We were going to the Dr. on the 7th but my Dr. was on call and got called out for a delivery 15 mins. before our appt. Grrrr so we had to go back on Monday. Typical, pee in a cup, get weight, take bood pressure, ask questions and hear heartbeat. My blood pressure is back up to 138/84 which doesnt sound really high but it is for me so I have to go back every week! Booo. Next appt. Mon. 17 @ noon. I also have gained 16 lbs. for sure! : (

Some good news: baby is healthy and happy. Heartrate was 148 bmp and he was moving all over. I also found out that I passed my glucose test yeaaaaa so no more driking that nasty drink!

Hugs and kisses and pray my BP is not an issue!

Andy and I went to the Dr. yesterday and Jaxon is doing GREAT! His heartrate was 142 bmp and I am measuring right on schedule. My BP is still up but she said that she feels okay with only seeing me every 2 weeks instead of every week so that is good news.

I am sooo excited for Thursday, we go for our 4D ultrasound and I cant wait. I have been looking foward to this from day 1. He moves all the time so I am praying that he will be moving on that day and not hiding! We go at 8:30 am which is super early for him, he is usually more active at night but that was the only time open before I am 32 weeks so we took it.

My family also finished up my baby shower invites and we are sending them out sometime this week. We ordered them so they were custom made and sooo cute! I LOVE them! Next Dr. visit on Dec. 1!!
