Wednesday, 7 May Hi - I don't know if you are already being induced but I was induced with my first and i will also be induced with this one (unless she comes early - I am from week 28). Its not bad... I had a great experience. They used cervidal (sp) at first. I started contracting right away. After several hours I was given pitocin. The contractions were painful but manageable. I dialated to 1 cm right away. After 13 hours I was having contractions every min or so - my water broke and then the contraction REALLY set in. I got an epidural about 1 1/2 hours after my water broke and life was great! I had my girl 5 hours later - no pain 30 minutes of pushing, small tear. All in all it was a good experience. I only had about 1 1/2 hours of really hard labor. Just focus on something and breathe! You will do great! The end result is all worth it! xgizmox -

Friday, 2 May Did she say restrictive of limited? I would think it means that it is limited, just to check amniotic fluid levels, that' s what I had. Wouldn't worry, will be relief to see baby. We got to see his face and heart too. danish-girl -
Wednesday, 30 April That is good! I hope that everything is okay (I'm sure it is!)

Sunday, 27 April Are you on antobiotics to fix it? It's fine for them to use numbing medicine when you're expecting, and to even take an x-ray late in pregnanncy, as long as you have the lead apron on...An infection of the tooth or gums can go into your blood stream and attack your heart, so it is very important to fix it soon...
You can swish with very warm salt water, say 1/2 teaspoon per cup. This helps kill the germs and helps with the pain just a little...
The other thing that helps me with any type of tooth pain is pushing on certain spots on my face where the tooth nerves meet up. It hurts while you're doing it, but feels better afterwards...One of the spots is just under the rounded bone under your eye (on the side of your face where the painful tooth is)- kind of in the middle of your cheek. There's a natural indentation there. Mush around till you find the spot that feels nervy and sore, then push on it and rub around till you can't stand it...The other spot is in front of your ear, There's a bone directly in front of your ear hole. Right above that there's a small indentation...if you press it, you'll feel the nerves meeting. Rub that as much as you can stand it.
Hope you feel better soon! danish-girl -
Sunday, 27 April You do the only thing you can do - see your doctor and then your dentist unless you want it to get a lot worse - and trust me, you dont!
I wish you all the best!

Saturday, 26 April See the different weeks at the top of the main web page you can click on? After week 41, it says "born". (You can click and read others' stories there...) Click on that, then click on "I gave birth", to write your own story. teenybaby -

Friday, 4 April hey i have the same due date as u! i just had my baby shower this past sunday! for games i did a jelly bean guess which they had to guess how many, and you can buy a roll of yarn and they can try to guess how big your belly is that was fun except they made me feel like a cow lol! oh and then buy a thing of clothespins and everyone gets one, if someone says baby someone who hears them takes it away whoever ends up with the most clothespins wins.. the thing is most people want prizes for games! so it starts to add up! remember its your babyshower! do what u want and feel good! and dont be on ur feet the whole day! i was and regretted it lol! good luck! mymiracle -
Friday, 4 April I just had my shower this past Sunday and I didn't have to do a thing for it. My sisters had the games all thought out and they turned out great. One that we had was a group of women have to drink juice out of a baby bottle (clean of course) and see who drank it the fastest. Another game we had was to put 4 groups together and blindfold them.. they had to undress, change, powder and dress the baby up agian before the next could go. Also we had a jar of suckers and the guests had to guess how many were in the jar..the prize was the jar of suckers lol. Oooh and the other one was taste test (baby food) that one was funny to watch! Hope all goes well... I was kinda worried at first but it was a pleasant surprise for sure! :) Good Luck with your shower! BUT.. that doesn't mean you have to have games either homebysunset -
Tuesday, 11 Mar I finally got up the nerves to call and well they never called me back to answer my questions... so much for paying for great health care! :) bellakimmie -
Monday, 10 Mar The cramps are normal. Take a bath, or the best thing is find a swimming pool to take a dip in. It releaves the pressure. meghan815 -
Monday, 10 Mar Sounds normal to me. Chances are your baby has already turned and his head is down. That can create lots of pressure, and I bet you are going to the bathroom more often. IF the pains become unbearable, I would call your Doctor. captlinda -
Friday, 29 Feb I've heard of a lot of ladies not passing the 1 hour but passing the 3 hour. Lower your carb intake for several days before you test. Good luck! whitty -
Thursday, 28 Feb I too failed my 1 hour test but I passed the three hour test with no problems. My doc told me that my body just absorbs sugar slower than normal because my first test after the drink was high but all the other three tests came back normal. I know many mommy's that also failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour. Good Luck! GEMZ-XX -
Tuesday, 19 Feb hi hunny im glad that has helped you a bit. take care lots of love x tranana -
Monday, 18 Feb I don't know who has time to count how many times the baby moves in an hour, but I wouldn't worry about it. like GEMZ-XX said, all babies are different. Plus, you get used to the baby moving around all the time that you wouldn't notice the little bumping around you would get. GEMZ-XX -
Monday, 18 Feb hiya i had the same concern as you, i read online that you are meant to be feeling your baby 10 times an hour, that CRAP as i asked my midwife she says all babies are different, and as long as you get used to ur babies normal pattern as long as there is no change to that all is well. i am 32 weeks and my baby moves no where near as much as ten times an hour, more like ten times a day. some of my mates babies didnt move at all for a few days at a time so dont worry hunny x JulianneH -
Monday, 18 Feb Hello, When I was pregnant my baby would move maybe once or twice a day. My Dr said that was ok as long as I was feeling something. I was nervous at first just like you but everything was fine and 3 weeks ago I gave birth to a healthly baby Boy. So, do not stress yourself out! I wish you all the best! mercy -
Monday, 18 Feb My first baby move 10+ times an hour at night, but in the day she was sleeping hard. I'm having a boy this time and he moves 10+ times in the morning and a little at night. You only count one hour out of 24hrs so it's not much. Sometimes the baby moves gently so you can't feel it when he's moving. Also if they run out of run early you may not feel much movement.I wouldn't worry if I were you as long as you feel some movement w/in 24hrs. You can also press gently on your belly to feel movement LOL. Leave a message for Momaem in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
