Well I finally made it to 39 weeks. I'm so anxious for my baby arrive that I'm going absolutely crazy. This has been a crazy journey and one of the most important ones of my life. I'm very glad I came across this site because some of you ladies have really shown me so much support that it has gotten me through tough days. Some of you have made me laugh so hard that I was seconds from peeing in my pants. lol You've even given inspirational stories too... many that have touched my heart... Some of you have made me so angry through your comments/post that I wanted to scream (READ MY BLOG to find out what I mean). lol Thanks to all of you... It all has gotten me through (good and bad) ;) My baby is due in 4 days and I'm just praying that he comes on his own by then. If not, I'll have to be induced for many reasons (again READ MY BLOG to find out why). Until then I'll be walking everyday. That's the only advice that is consistant so I'm going to follow it and pray that my little Ayden comes out soon. I really can't wait to meet the little guy!!! Again, I love you all who have been and continue to be a support system. You are great!

Sincerely,

Lynn

Well all is well with the baby. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and getting huge. I know our little one is healthy because he moves all day, every day. I can tell little Ayden running out of room because the pressure against my ribs and bladder get stronger every day when he moves. I get more anxious as time goes by. I can't wait to meet my little guy. I am a little frustrated with my fiancée because he's known that I've been pregnant since month #1 and he was supposed to be out looking for a job that pays more. He hardly looked at all and now I'm at month #8+ which means no better paying job... which means when I go on my much needed maternity leave, we'll be struggling because it's not paid. I wish he was more responsible.

I'm annoyed with my parents who have all of these demands of what they want to do with the baby once he's born... How my mom wants to be in the delivery room... but as parents they really haven't been there for me EVER. My mom didn't plan a baby shower. I had to ask someone else to do it. They know I'm getting married and won't be contributing anything at all. I found a gorgeous place that takes care of everything for $5,000. Although it's usually the bride's family responsibility, my fiancée ended up asking his parents for help (sooo embarrassing)... So we split that 5,000 three ways (btw my fiancée’s parents, mine, and us). They still say they won't be able to do it and they have until March! They say its money issues but they had enough to by this HUGE $2,500 pool. They're having a big family party/bbq... I'm usually very calm and collective and I would just roll my eyes and move on when my parents did stuff like this but my baby shower and wedding?? That's big stuff for me and they're dropping the ball yet again and at such an emotional time. Then they have the nerves to place demands about babysitting the baby soon after he's born, coming over to help, and even being in the delivery room. Wow, the nerves. I bet there idea of helping is holding the baby all day while I cook and clean.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IN THE BEGINNING

My pregnancy started off very CRAZY. I was actually about to break-up with my boyfriend and leave the state when I found out I was pregnant. We were having issues... mostly issues with him not being responsible, etc... and issues that we've had for 6+ years. Once I told him, there was no way I could leave. He was very excited and we decided to try to work things out.

I had only taken the home pregnancy test and decided to go to the hospital to make sure everything was for sure. They confirmed that I was 4 weeks pregnant and that they wanted me to continue to wait in ER so they can do a scan to make sure everything is fine. I got to the waiting room and called my boyfriend and EVERYONE in my family to tell them about the baby. After hours of waiting they scanned me and said that they saw no baby in my uterus but did see a growth on the outside of it that they believed was an ectopic pregnancy. I was so crushed and upset that I called my boyfriend back and he left his job to be with me as they ran more tests and told me that they would like to give me some medicine to help dissolve the pregnancy. It had to be within an hour of calling everyone that I had to call EVERYONE back and tell them that I wasn't having a baby afterall. The specialist came in and said there was no way we could have the baby but another doctor came in and told me to come back in a couple of days to get the meds that would end the pregnancy... He said he's not worried about the ectopic pregnancy rupturing quite yet because I was in NO pain.

To make a long story short... The reason why the doctors couldn't see the baby inside my utereus was because it was still an early pregnancy and the growth they saw on the outside was only a cyst. I thank GOD everyday that we waited and didn't listen the the specialist. We now have a seemingly healthy baby boy (Ayden) who is on his way. Ayden is our UNPLANNED BLESSING!

There has been some bumps along the road in this pregnancy but having our baby Ayden brought into the world healthy will make everything worth it.

  1. Well recently my feet have been so swollen that they look like inflated balloons.
  2. In the middle of my pregnancy I found out that I needed a root canal and tooth extraction. I was in so much pain that they gave me antibiotics and even Viocodin. I just have to deal with the discomfort until I give birth because they won't operate while I'm pregnant.
  3. At one point I was getting horrible pains in my side to the point where I thought something was wrong with the baby or that my appendex was about to burst. Thank GOD it was only a bad UTI and doctors just told me to drink more fluids, and take my anti-biotics. I feel a lot better now but I'm a little nervous about the next obsticle.

Aww yeah, I know! The judging is really hard, especially when a bunch of hormonal pregnant women are the ones talking about such personal decisions! We all have to do what's best to bring our babies into the world, whether it be c-sections, epidurals, inductions, etc. Just keep your head up hunnie, don't let this site get to you! It's suppose to be a place to feel support, not judgment! I'm doing great with my c-section, I've lost 20 lbs so far and I still have 10 more to lose..I've been on my treadmill for about a week now haha! I actually just added a new picture of me that is from today showing my weight loss progress lol! Wishing you a healthy and happy baby and birth process! xoxo

Girl please. It does not take a year. I am 90% better now and I just had my daughter last tuesday. I woke up this morning made breakfast, permed my hair and did other things. My stomach is alittle sore still but that's expected. I have not taken any pain medicine since Friday. You will be ok if it came down to it. This is my second one and I will do it again anyday.

I was dilated a fingertip last week and then 1 cm the day of my sweep (yesterday.)

Still nothing today. :( This is getting old.

I'm healing good. I can get in and out of the bed as well as walk without hurting too bad. I drink hot tea in the morning. It took me about two weeks to get back to normal with my first C section. Make sure you buy a girdle to wear and it will make all the difference in the world.
