After almost two years of trying to conceive, my husband and I are expecting our first baby on April 4, 2008. We're having a BOY ... still haven't picked out a name for him yet but his nickname is BBQ.

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sunday, 20 Jan Im so freaked out that they said she weighs 3.9 lbs at 29 weeks. I mean that is HUGE, and a lot bigger than the normal weight as they say. She is measuring bigger when they do the fundal height too. I just get so worried that im farther than i think but my OB wont change my date? slnkl -
Saturday, 19 Jan So how is your home tests coming along? My tests aren't that bad, its probably b/c I've eaten less and stayed away from sweets. the only high result I got was b/c I had mcdonalds and I drunk a whole sprite. i tested 2 hours later and it was 172. other than that, everything else turned out okay. well let me know how your tests are coming along and what else the doctors say you will have to do. good luck! alaskaerika -
Thursday, 17 Jan Thanks for comment! It's good to hear some reassuring words. I know the same measurements can't be applied to everyone in pregnancy, cause everyone is different, but that doesn't stop me from freaking out! :) slnkl -
Tuesday, 15 Jan i hate needles too, and i don't think i'll be able to poke myself several times a day. i don't know who's going to do it for me! i'll have to meet with my nutrionist soon and hopefully work a diet out. I always thought i was pretty healthy, but i guess not! well keep in touch and let me know how you are dealing with your diet. good luck with your pregnancy love. snowie13 -

Tuesday, 8 Jan Did you have to do the 3 hour test? I am confused because I heard people say that if you failed the first one then you go take the 3 hour one, I went today and all they did was take my blood, no drink and just sent me home, the guy was too hard for me to understand when I tried asking questions, But I guess this will tell me if I have it or not. jenn1022 -
Tuesday, 8 Jan I might have it but I will know probably tomorrow. michelle8106 -
Tuesday, 8 Jan your welcome! I hope that everything is okay! Let me know if you need anything else! :) michelle8106 -
Tuesday, 8 Jan No Problem! :)
I hope that you don't have it as bad as me but you will go in and meet with an educator and they will put you on a diet that limits your carbs. You will have to check your sugar alot because they want to make sure that its going down. If they cant get your sugar down by diet then you will have to take Pills and then last resort shots.
Mine is so bad that they have to have my take 5 pills a day and shots and I go to the doctors 2 times a week and have stress tests. I am 99% sure that you will not have to deal with that though because my doctors said that its rare.
You will have more ultrasounds to monitor the babies weight so that he or she is not getting to large to have a natural delivery....But Like I said its rare to have it that bad. I am sure that you are going to be fine...Because they got to it soon enough. Just make sure that you do the diet that they give u and don't worry its not that bad! Good Luck! :) Let me know if you have anymore questions. michelle8106 -
Tuesday, 8 Jan I am 33 weeks and I have had Gestational Diabetes.

Monday, 7 Jan Hi, I have had b/p issues from the start of my pregnancy and they put me on a low dose of meds and I have been fine throughout my pregnancy. No big deal just need to get it under control. They will take care of it. Don't worry a bit about it. Mine went as high as 170/110 now I am like 130/90 and they are good with it. I take a very very small dose of meds too that is perfectly safe for pregnant women. We have enough things to worry about and if I can put your mind at ease on this I am happy to do it.
