Hello and Congratulations Everyone
My name is Laura and I have been married to my wonderful husband for 6 years now. We have 2 beautiful children Kelsea 5, and Ryley 3. We are now expecting our 3rd child in September. Wow was that a surprise. I am so excited, I feel like I am having my first child all over again. I can't wait to see my little one. This pregnancy has been very easy for me, not really any morning sickness just extreme fatigue. Oooh, well just a reminder of what I am in for once the baby is born.

Well it has been a busy summer for us, which has not left a lot of time for the internet. I am finally 35 weeks along. Yahoo. My husband and I are hoping that our little guy or gal will make an apperance in 2 weeks. I wonder if I will be that lucky? The baby is doing great. I have been measuring 3 weeks a head the hole pregnancy and the doc. is starting to think that this could be a big baby. I sure hope not. I went to the doctor today and the heart rate was 140 bpm and going strong. We had an ultrasound done just for fun, and she/he looks great. My kids loved it. My doctor checked my cervix and nothing is going on down there, she told my son that the baby is going to stay in for a while longer and have a party. I was totally bumed. I still have not packed my bags for the hospital or gotten anything ready for the big day. One of these days I will get on that. Anyhow, take care ladies and good luck

Well its been quite a while since I have had the time to be on line. Since my last post we have gone for our last ultrasound and all looks good. I am so relieved. I am 26 weeks along now and I can't believe that there is only 14 weeks until the baby is due. I had my o.b. appointment last week and I am measuring almost 3 weeks larger than what I should. The doc. says that this could be from either a large baby or water retention. Lets hope its water retention. I am still getting a lot of pelvic pain/pressure, especially after doing to much work. I can't wait for that to end. I lucked out and finally got a baby that moves. He/She moves all the time, I LOVE it. I haven't gained a whole lot of weight yet either, about 15 pounds. Yeah for me. I think this is my best pregnancy yet. Anyhow, hope everyone else is doing well. Take care ladies.

We got the call today from the doctors office and we are going for our ultrasound on Monday.We are all very excited and can't wait to see the baby.I hope he/she co-operates this time around and we can get a good look at him.I am starting to think that he/she is sitting real low as I keep getting a lot of cramping and pressure in my pelvis/"down theres".I never had that at all with the first 2, so it is very new to me.I can't wait for it to stop, it is sure putting a damper on house work, soccer practice and playing with the kids. Oooh, well part of the pregnancy fun I guesse.

My doctors office called today and I need to go in for another ultrasound. I guesse my little buddy wasn't co-operative at all. They need some new picture of the face and the heart. They said that every thing looks good, but he was in the wrong position. Apart of me believes them but another part doesn't and I am kind of worried that there is something wrong. The tech. showed us the pictures that she got, she pointed out the face and the heart and said that everything looked great. So now I have to wait another 2 weeks to find out what is going on. Ooh hurry up 2 weeks.
April 30-2007
Hurray, we had our ultrasound on thrusday and the baby looks great. He/she would not co-operate for pictures, but it was still fun. My older kids enjoyed watching their baby moving all over. The baby has really started moving in the last week. He/she moved for 20 min. this morning. I love that as my older 2 were not real movers. Its hard to believe that I am 20 weeks tommorow. Time sure flyes by.
April 19-2007
Feel good today, still tired but getting anxious for the baby. I have a feeling that I am running out of time to get things done even though I have 22 weeks. Its weird because I never had this with my other two pregnancies. I did however get my sons room painted. It looks great and I love it. So glad I finally got it done. Our big ultrasound is next thursday, we are all very excited to see the baby.

hi laura how are you and your lo doing? Just wanted to drop in and say hi and also update you on the latest happenings. my dd and I are now completely on bottle with breast milk. she is just not co-operating. As much I go thru the kelly mom site i feel as though i didnt do enough at the right time to really get her on to my breast. My LC now tells me the only way she might decide to nurse is a lot of skin to skin. How are you doing? do u do skin to skin a lot? if so, how often? and is it helping?

I read your comment about putting breast milk in a babies nose to relief stuffiness. How much do you put in it? Do you put it in the baby's nose with a medicine dropper or what? Thank you, my son has a horrible cold.

hey! thank you for your reply. i have done all of the things on the site under * increasing low milk supply*..my lactation consultant told me.that site really is great! but for me nothing has worked. as of now i have NO milk at all and i increased the drugs i was on but am just getting stomach pain....iv been advised to give up :( thanks any ways! and i live in ontario..i was bc this summer! its beautifulll

I had never heard that about the size 2 nipples before. My husband is very thin and was huge as a baby. But he was breastfed. I could not breastfeed because i was on 7 different medicines following an infection in my csection incision. these meds were harmful to the baby and one of them dried up my milk supply. I tried taking Reglan to restart it, but after i stopped taking it it dried up again. I am quite disappointed by all this and afraid of my son starting out on a bad foot nutritionally.

First of all how is your little one doing? Three months old already. It is so hard to believe how quickly they grow up. Emily turned three months yesterday. She had Bronchilitis but it much better now. The third child hasn't made me as tired as I was with the other two. Did you get your tubes tied?

Awe congratulations so the baby is now 3 weeks old huh. That is funny they were due on the same day and born so close to each other. So what name did you pick out? Do you feel like three children can be really overwhelming? Rewarding but yet overwhelming. Did you have vaginal ? I would love to see some pics of the baby.

thank you so much for your comment. Congrats on your little baby as well. I have tried the nursing tea but hasnt really helped. I can maybe pump more the next morning after drinking it but not alot through the day. She can eat for like an hour on the breast and still eat like 4 oz (from bottle) when she latches off. It seems I cant keep up producing the milk she needs. It has been very frustrating and stressful. Hopefully after she gets her tongue clipped it'll be better. Thank you and take care!

It is truly hard to believe that there is so little time until our children will be born. I still have not decided what I am going to name my little girl. It is such a tough decision for me. I put an update on my page as to how my pregnancy is progressing. I go for another ultrasound in 2 weeks and obgyn appointment in 1 weeks. How are you feeling? how is the baby girl growing?

Thats awesome! My best friend lives in Kelowna...i go see her a few times a year! Its so beautiful in BC! I have been feeling pretty good. Its been a little stressful for me because we have had some abnormal ultrasound results. We get our final results tomorrow so Im praying everything is looking good! One of the ventricles in his brain is measuring over normal...just barely ....but it is. Which could mean nothing or if it gets bigger...be a really big concern. He also may have a club foot (left), the tech wasnt certain so we went back for another check...will find out tomorrow. Praying all is well....at least with the ventricles...i really dont care about the club foot because thats easily repaired after birth. How about you...looks like you had an ultrasound scare too, they are so wonderful to see, but can totally ruin the pregnancy!

I know, I just am somewhat in disbelief of how quickly this pregnancy is going. As of right now I am scheduled to have my cesarean on September 10th but I am hoping that they will move it up to the fifth or back to the 15th. I go back to the OB on Thursday. I am so sleepy most days and hungry ALL of the time. What about you? I cannot even make it driving all the way home w/out stopping to go potty. :)

I truley plan on working until the day before my cesarean. But if yesterday is any indicator of my future health (I stayed home sick, tummy issues) then I don't know. I stayed in bed until 3pm yesterday and my kitchen did not get cleaned. How was your mother's day? I felt like a mother all day long. lol I am very excited I get an ultrasound in 9 DAYS@!

Awe, that is sad that your husband works out of town. I just convinced my husband to get a second job at night strictly to pay of our cars before the baby comes and I worry that I am going to be so lonely at night. So my heart goes out to you. I work M-Th 7-5 and F 8-12. I am very tired but somehow manage to keep the house in order, the meals cooked and the yard in shape. Now my car getting washed and vacumed is a totally different beast. lol. Well they decided not to deliver until 09/10 and I am scared that my uterus might rupture before then. I guess that I will speak with my tech next time I am in. AGH

My next ultrasound will be the morning of the 24th. That's 13 days away. lol I'm counting down. Right now I get to have an ultrasound every 4-6 wks. they will be closer as I approach my due date. Well, I am excited b/c I woke up laying flat on my back last night at 1am and I felt her kick strong. But that was it just one. My husband can feel the flutters with his hand (I can't) If I tell him to put his hand on my tummy and tell me where she is moving he can give me an exact location. As for the size of your babies 'they' say that boys are bigger than girls and each pregnancy the babies usually get bigger (unless it is boy to girl)I was reading your comment from the 3rd and it made me think of me. They told me that they will need to check Bree's heart again this time to see if there is a hole b/c they couldn't get a clear shot. It makes me scared. I have a really great tech (he delivers 1 & 2 lbs babys daily) he told me it was a little girl at 12wks.!!! Where is your husband going? I guess that I missed that part. I am kinda disapointed b/c I thought that I was going to be having my baby in August but it is scheduled right now tentantively for 09/10

I am having a truly different experience with this pregnancy. No mood swings, lots of morning sickness, barely showing, and slight movement. My boys were making huge movements by now. Do you think it is b/c they were huge babies and she is average? Kai was almost 10 and bryce was a month early at 8lbs and she is barely anything so far. I cannot wait until my children get excited. (where they can see her move)Time flys by. We only have 4 months left. Hey and we found out on the same day too! My HPT was just barely a visible pregnant line. lol

the only thing that's helped the being tired is SLEEP, a lots of it! lol and walking around outside to get the heart pumping a little, but i don't walk very long because then i just get tired again. as for the cold like symptoms, they come and go. but i do know you can take tylenol cold and sinus to help with the stuffiness some.
