Hello, my name is Caroline. I live in Mebane, NC which is near Raleigh. Im 19 years old. My fiance's name is Howard but everyone calls him Trey. Him and I are expecting our first baby May 22nd. Neither one of us have children so this will be the beginning of the rest of our lives- we are so anxious and excited to start this new family. As soon as our little Aaron arrives, we plan to get married as soon as possible. We dont plan on having the actual wedding, just going to get the paper work because he will be leaving for basic training for the army in June. Once he returns, thats when we will have the wedding we have both always dreamed of. I am also currently a store manager for an AT&T Wireless agency.
As a young mother, i am terrified, scared, nervous, BUT ALSO happy, excited, and anxious. I have never raised a child before so im probably going to be very cautious about every little detail in my little girls life. At night when my fiance and i go to bed, Aaron starts kicking and moving alot and the only way she will stop is if Trey has his hands on my belly. That makes me smile. I have many questions and concerns about every feeling and movement i get so if decide to become a friend of mine, please know now that i will be asking you many questions that may seem very silly. With that being said, i do enjoy meeting other ladies in the same situation as myself. its always nice to have someone who's going thru the same things as myself so i have someone to talk to. So thats me....take it or leave it. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

My mom is crazy!!! I asked my mom already but she's crazy!!! She would have me cleaning like Cinderella.. At my mom house its just my older sister, mom and grandma... so there's more space... ya I'm goin to think about it.. I have til May 1st..

Hi... Just saw your post... Yes there were complications. Even with the steroid shots he couldn't breathe. He is in the NICU. He waws on a ventilator but is now on oxygen. He has a feeding tube, antibiotics, jaundice as of a few minutes ago and iv's and moniters everywhere. I have a pic on my page. He is doing a lot better so I am just keeping my fingers crossed and praying a lot. Good luck. I am trying to keep you guys posted as much as possible. I have a lot of free time in the hospital right now. Laptops are great.

Your cereal comment caught my eye because since I have become pregnant I have probably eaten my weight in cereal. In the beginning, it was all I could eat. Now, my husband and daughter think its funny because when I shop, I forget most of what I need to buy but I come home with like 20 different kinds of cereal.

Hi, saw your comment, I totally feel the same way. I used to work full time and now I feel so lazy. I know I am growing a human being, and my BF is happy taking care of me, but I need to contribute! I have cleaned, done his taxes and mine (that helped me feel productive) washed baby clothes, re arranged baby stuff, napped, surfed online, and then just feel really worthless. I get hard on myself sometimes and need to make a contribution. I nanny a couple of hours M-F but she is 8 and really doesnt need me too much... oh I found that grocery shopping is pretty fun haha see its terrible
anyway, I totally feel you. Just remember we are busy making a life even though it doesnt feel like a huge contribution to the world right now, it will be!

Glad to know someone else is in m boat! I almost didn't want to post that because I didn't want any angry people who already had kids to tell me it must be nice---i feel useless also!! I really do not know what to do with myself, but I couldn't go on working b/c I was swelling up like a balloon and my doctor took me off work.

wow, that really does work out about the sheets...sweet! i know what you mean about the nails mine grow so super fast i have to keep them trimmed so i don't gouge Drew and soon alexis. i used to paint them all the time and do all kinds of stuff with them, but /sigh no time for that when your chasing a 20 month old lol.
as for my walls yes they are sponged...its kinda a funny storey. see the house i live in used to belong to my sister, and her daughter is obsessed with pink, so my mommy came over and painted the walls and made curtains, and all that. my sister decided this house wasnt big enough for her growing family (she has 4 kids now) and sold it to my brother. he was about to paint the room over when i decided to come to florida to stay with family while hubby is in iraq. he offered me two rooms in his house for very more than reasonable rent. so he asked what color i wanted the room, and well the pink actually worked. my sons room however needs a paint job, its all green which does not match his spider man decor. lol so we are gunna paint it red and sponge blue over it. ^_^ of course my mom will be doing that as well and he is getting new spider man curtains. mommys are great!
