I have had a NT (first trimester screening) which came back normal. All ultrasounds have been normal. My quad screen also came back in normal range. This is why I question my OB/GYN's recommendation for the amnio. I have two doctors whom I see. Both recommend the procedure. Both have done many, many of these procedures and say that it is safe. Their secretary also told me that in 20 years of her working with the 2 docs, she has never heard of a M/C from the amnio itself. Other complications led to it. I don't know how to take that.... it's a bit "left handed".

I am terrified of M/Cing a healthy baby and having it be MY fault.... I caused my own baby's demise. What a horrifying thought.

I believe in quality of life. I saw my father suffer badly through cancer for 2 years... I cannot imagine my own child going through a lifetime of health problems. This is where I am coming from. I would only consider aborting if I felt that the baby would only life 1 - 2 years because of a "no-way-out" condition. Why prolong the agony for him/her and our family? Hard decision. What is your feeling?

I know what you mean about having to eat all the time. I get so sick of eating. When I go for a walk or play outside with my son I have to eat extra before hand and then eat again afterward. I never sit down with my family to eat because I eat little snacks all day. They told me my son was large but that was all that was said. My other two were tiny. Ty only weighed 6lb 2 oz. This one may be 8 lbs. The only thing I am doing different is drinking alot of milk. I don't want to but I have to for the protein. We decided to name or son Luke, and he kicks alot in the morning around 7. He also kicks alot when my blood sugars are going low.

Thank you, it could happen the same day, could happen at 40 weeks they just dont know, which fills me with confidence..... I had an epi to have it done so was just a little sore when it wore off. xxxxx

How are your blood sugars? Mine have been getting way to low. I had one today after walking that was 35. I feel like I am eating all day trying to keep them up. The baby is a little large, he weighed 1 lb 5 oz at 21 week. I will be surprised if he doesn't come early.

I have not checked it, but I can usually tell when it is off. I get that really weak, shaky feeling and then I sweat like crazy! It has only happened to me twice like that since I've been pg, but I have hypothyroidism so it has happened to me before I was pg. I will ask the doc about it next time tho, thanks!

Well i am doing as well as one can expect i to have some high days mainly after certain things i eat like POP is a no no and i should no better i dont drink it all the time but maybe once a week and it's only alittle at a time...I get stressed to u think ur doing everything right and then u check it and your like DAMN!!....i almost have to what till it's in the 90's or low hunders to eat that way it dont go to high..my doctor aint that hard on me he and she both know how hard it is to control it ecspecially when ur pregnant they told me it would proably get worse my doc uped my dosage in the moring and probaly will have to up the one at night to...so fret over it as long as u are taking ur medicine and it aint gettin to out of control just keep an eye on it....i find that when it gets high i go for a walk or doing something that gets me movin and myheart rate up a little plus its good excersie for me and hte baby...Good luck and i hope to hear from u

Thanks for the cute graphic! So, you will have a boy and girl too. I have a 1.5 yr old now. He's born in Oct. It looks like we'll both have 2 October babies. How do you feel about that? I feel kind of bad, like someone will always get the better birthday party or something.
