Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

no no, antibitics are not good in pregnancy, my friend took some cus she had no choice and her babys frontal lobe on the brain was damaged... there are very few that u can take during pregnancy, but u can always check online if prescribed, but listen if u can wait it out, do so.... i was just saying to another girl, that being ill, is not good for us, but for the baby its very good, the anti bodies were producing to fight off our illnesses are being passed thru to baby, which is very good..x.x. good luck and hope u feel better.x.x

I researched pseudaphed (however you spell it) and it didn't sound good. I was very sick right at the end of my first trimester and my doctor gave me an antibiotic. He said that Bronchitis and Pneumonia are worse for the baby than antibiotics...anything that interferes with your breathing affects baby's breathing too. Doctors have been giving antibiotics for many many years to pregnant women. I was nervous too, but I researched online and all seems okay. My doctor suggested four cups a day of decaffeinated green tea with honey. He said it will help with the inflammation of the brochial tubes and sinuses! Good luck! Oh! And a COLD air humidifier helps too!

I have also been getting the pains lately. They had stopped for a while. I am ready for the world to know I am pregnant so that they don't just think I am getting fat. After having three kids and not exercising I had a small belly and it looks kinda yucky right now. My u/s is on the 25th I still want to know what I am having. A surprise would be nice but I am too excited. I am glad that everything is going well for you. I finally told my kids that we are having another baby. They are very excited but my son made it clear he wants a brother this time.

It was probably round ligament pain. Search it on google and see if it makes what you experienced. If it is round ligament pain then there is nothing to be worried about. I would still mention it to your doctor at the next appt.

LOL I had a huge abcess on my lower left side of my mouth then when they gave me an xray I had a huge black spot underneath my tooth, so they went ahead an extarcted it. It hurts so bad.

ange0705 - Saturday, 12 Jan
I am glad your appt. went well. I go on Feb 25 to hopefully find out the sex. I really want to know so I can prepare stuff and so I can talk to my kids because I know they are going to want to know.

Hello. No we don't have any names picked yet. Our son we just named after daddy, with Lacee we didn't have any names picked out. I had her at 4:30 in morning and at 11:00 that night he came up with her name. Destanee I just left naming up to him again. He wouldn't even give me a clue said he didn't know and as soon as she was born he said Destanee so I think he had it and wouldn't tell me. So once again the name is entirely up to him. I am terrified of naming babies. By the way I am not sure where he came up with that spelling. As for popping out I am doing the same thing my son layed his head on me lastnight and said mommy are you getting another baby in your belly? He knows what it felt like last time. I just said wouldn't it be neat if I did? His response was yes- if it is a boy. uh-oh I am sorry that I always have so much to say that has always been my personality, and now I am surrounded by little ones so I use every opporrtunity I get to talk or type.

I went to the dr yesterday and heard the heartbeat on the doppler for the first time. I was very relieved. although it was nice the last time when they did the u/s when we couldn't hear it. so no sneak peeks at baby yesterday but, they scheduled my next u's for end of feb. She said that would be the best time to try to determine the sex. I am ready for that. I would love to know when I finally tell my kids. good luck at your appt!!!

Just to let you know..the nasal stuffiness will stay with you for the remainder of the PG...and I hate it everytime!!

ange0705 - Sunday, 6 Jan
Yes I am also angela isn't that ironic. I can't wait for my appt. I am 14 wks and getting excited. I need to hear that little beating and at that point I will be more relaxed for the rest of my pregnancy. Including my stepdaughter we have 3 girls and 1 boy. We are moving my baby in with the other girls now and my son is very jealous. He doesn't know that i am pregnant yet. Tonight he said I wish you would have another baby that is a boy. Now i am a little nervous how he will react if there is another girl. I know he will survive but I kinda feel bad for him. A girl wouldn't be bad though because almost everything in my house is pink I would save a lot of money. I will let you know about my appt and check back with you about yours!

ange0705 - Saturday, 5 Jan
Hi Have you been back to the dr? I hope your doppler experience is better. I go on Monday and I am ready for that reassurance.

happymomma2be - Tuesday, 18 Dec
Thank you for your sweet message! I don't think I am going to be able to hold out much longer...haha! I am so ready to tell! I keep getting weird looks because I turn green from time to time! Almost lost it again at the in-laws with chicken noodle soup! Congrats, and keep me posted! This is going to be a great holiday for all of us! :)

happymomma2be - Monday, 17 Dec
So, so glad you heard the hearbeat...that is so reassuring, especially at a time like this! Sorry for your scare, but I am really glad all went well for you. God bless!

ange0705 - Monday, 17 Dec
If you go in next time and can hear the heartbeat right away do you think you will enjoy it more? I was just wondering because aside from the nerves of waiting, It can also be very reasurring to hear those little thumps. I just thought I should leave a more positive thought.

ange0705 - Monday, 17 Dec
I don't think that is wrong of you. When you experience something like that it keeps you nervous. I am 11 wks and I have already had 3 ultrasounds to keep a close eye on this baby. I have had 3 miscarriages. One of the u/s the midwife did because I needed to hear the heartbeat and could not detect it on doppler. It was very reassuring. The nine months of waiting and feeling every little twinge is unbearable. If I carry this baby to term I am done it will make number 4. I don't go back to the dr now until 12-27 I hope everything goes well for all of us

ange0705 - Sunday, 16 Dec
I am glad to hear they found the heartbeat. I have had the alternitive and do not wish it on anyone. Congrats and goodluck
