Hello everyone. My name's Amanda and I am expecting my first child in June! It's been a bumpy ride but things are looking better everyday. My husband and I split up when I was about 2 months pregnant and that has been very hard. The baby has been doing great though and is very healthy, I could not ask for more as far as the baby goes! I never knew I was capable of loving someone so much until I found out I was pregnant. It really is the most amazing feeling in the world.

Thursday, 17 Jan

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything went well. The baby `s heartbeat was strong and loud, 140bpm. The doctor wants to wait until I `m 28 weeks to do another u/s. I `ve only had one so far in November and 10 weeks seems so far away.

Tuesday, 19 Feb

So my doctor finally gave in and I got to get an ultrasound this morning. They think everything looks good. I `m so thankful to have a healthy baby! I also found out I `m having a girl.

Thursday, 27 Mar

I went to the doctor today. Her heartbeat was 136 and everything looks good! She has been so active today, I don `t think she `s slept hardly at all. I `m so excited to meet my baby girl!

Happy Friday to you and baby! :) That's such a cute name :) I love it! :) The name we have picked out for our lil man is Cristian Israel. Israel is my hubby's first name and will be the baby's middle name cuz neither of us wanted a junior. hehe...I love being pregnant too...its amazing! Some days I wake up forgetting that there is a lil one growing inside of me but it is truly awesome :) Here's to getting more sleep and nap times :) Have a great weekend :)

Not a whole lot has changed for us...I still have hope. We still talk and text everyday, but I haven't seen him for awhile. It just seems like he is completely overwhelmed by everything and doesn't want to deal with it. How are things going for you guys?? Are you going crazy with all the cute girl stuff? My little girl has quite the wardrobe already :)

hey... the same thing happened to me last weekend. until like 3 weeks ago everyone would ask how far am i along, and i said almost 5 months and than last week a women ask me too and i told her i am in my 6th month now (21weeks) and she was like... wooowwww you are huge for that. i was really offended and felt strange. my belly finally started showing a lot like 3 weeks ago. until than no one even noticed i was pregnant. so strange. i guess everyone has different opinions. they are probably just shocked how fast you started showing at ones. i had the same thing. over night kind of thing. my husband said, wow you are so big now, i feel like i haven;t seen you in like a month or so. because it really did happen from one day to another for some reason. hehe

I just read your comments on how 'big' you are. I get that from only one person. At first it made me mad but the majority of the people I know and love all say I don't look almost 6 months. Don't worry about it. Just enjoy it. There is always one in every bunch.

Hi there, I saw your story about the belly comments - I had a similar experience & agree that it's really annoying! I went from a group of friends telling me I looked great & that my belly was 'tiny,' to literally 3 days later having some random woman tell me she couldn't believe I wasn't due until June b/c she thought I'd be due any day! Then she asked, 'are you SURE there's only ONE in there?!' I was like, get a life! I find that I'm less bothered by people who haven't had children making comments, b/c they probably don't know what it feels like - but when mothers make ignorant comments, there's just no excuse. Judging by your pics, you look just great! Keep smiling! :)

Dont let people stress you out about how big your baby belly is. Everyone carries different. I have people say how big my belly is all the time. I think my belly is normal. It bothered me at first, now I just realize some people dont think before they speak. I am sure your baby belly is just right.

That sucks you have to wait so long for the u/s. You said that he said that 22 weeks is too early but that is average when the get done. The later it gets the harder it is to see the sex. I am sure everything is ok though. I love your growing belly pics!
