Very Proud to be an expecting Mommy. This is my first child and I am doing everything I can to make sure this child is taken care of, fed healthy and nurtured while in my womb. I wasn't always convinced that I would have a child, however, now that I am pregnant with my first- I couldn't be happier.

I am glad to be in my second trimester. I was fortunate to have my third ultrasound today and was able to see my little BOY!~. I had my third check up at the doctors last week where I heard the wondersful sound of my unborn child's heart beat which was ticking at 156 beats per minute.

I am a busy bee preparing for the birth of my child and am well on my way collecting items for him.

This has been one of the most life changing events for me and has changed my view about my body image and the way I view the world. There was never a question of whether to keep this child, only excitement and anticipation and a little fear of what to expect. 4 more months to go for me and counting. This is the greatest gift given to me and I know bearing a child is not going to be easy. I believe it will be worth it.

To Justin:

Mommy loves you Sweet Pea and can't wait for your arrival on this planet. xoxo

Lyndsey

So nice you lost the morning sickness. Wish I could say the same but still on meds but they work so well its like I don't have it anyway. Feeling good otherwise, getting short of breath now days and have a terrible cold. Baby is moving, not a ton but its nice to feel.
Thanks for the comment about the bump. I didn't show the first time till after 6mo so its pretty big to me but they say you show quicker the second time as well. I am sure your bump will prob show more near the end, mine just popped big time in the last couple months.

Thats great you can feel your baby moving, I haven't yet and didn't with my first until well in to my 23wk or so. Placenta was blocking the movements. I can't believe we can find out in just a few weeks, I am so excited to find out what we are having. Its good you had some time off, I am sure baby liked the extra flow of energy.

Yea I hear ya, not many woman where I am either. Usually see the clean up lady maybe once a day, if that and thats about it for woman when I am in the house. There is a female bricker, roofer ,insulator and the cleaning lady. Not allot considering how many guys are working. Most of them are pretty cool but of course I am working with my fiance so I think that helps allot but they also see how hard I work and have respect for me because of that. Its good you are taking the precautions that you can. Theres not much else you can do. Its nice you heard the babies heartbeat, that is the coolest thing for sure.

There's not much you can do about work, my first time around I had a much harder time, I think because I didn't know what to expect. This time I am doing more because I am not as worried but I still rest when I need to and eat when I need too. Its good I am self employed in that respect because my fiance knows and wants me to take it easy at work when I need to and he is more than happy to do any job I am not up to, he is just happy to have me back at work for a while, we just can't seem to find anyone worth hiring and we just work so well together, I don't imagine we ever will. I can't wait to find out what we are having either, six more weeks How do you like your job? Do you do lots of new home construction? xxx

I am glad you are feeling better. The first time is always nerve racking. I worried almost the whole pregnancy but nature takes care of herself pretty good and those babies are pretty strong despite their tiny size. I am so much more relaxed this time around and time is flying by because of being busy. I will prob be close to seven mo before I call it quits, depends on how I feel, time just goes so much quicker when I am working but if I am too big than I am too big. I can't wait to find out what we are having. Are you going to find out?

Rebbers - Thursday, 14 August
Thanks for the post. I am doing pretty good. Feeling allot better than I have in the past. Back to work for a few months, until I can't work anymore. I figure this will probably be it for me, with two small children I can't imagine working, but who knows, I guess when they are a bit older I will have to find something to do with myself. The problem is I love my job but I don't want to miss out on my baby time. Guess all moms go through that, I think its good for us both because she will be socialized and I can make some money to buy her all those important things I am sure she will need lol.
So how have you been doing?

ibaheir2dathrone - Monday, 4 August
Hello,

I saw your question about women working in hard jobs. My mother worked till the day she delivered at GMC as a welder. (in 1979) when she had my brother. My friend worked at CHRYSLER during 2 preg. (till 7 months, I think with both)
