Well, i'm Crystal and I had my son Jack on Jan. 28th 2008. My husband and I are so happy that we have our own little family now. I have been with my husband what will be 6 years in May 2008. Also this September will be our 2 year anniversary of being married. We have 2 dogs a cat and some fish. I love to talk about my little boy, he is my pride and joy.

April 6th 2008

Well my little boy turned 2 months on March 28th. He is getting so big! He had his 2 month shots last week and the poor thing just screamed! We had to give hime tylenol for a few days because he had a little temp after having them. He is a constant spitter, he spits up ALL day EVERY day, and his doctor told me he's gaining weight so he is fine. He is 12lbs 12oz. He is a little bit of a fussy baby but we do love him more than anything :) He on most nights sleeps through the night, usually from 9:30 or 10 to 7 ot 7:30.. It's nice to finally start to get some sleep again :)

It's working !!!!
Just wanted to see how well this works!

Hi! My baby was the same way, never napping and he always woke up when I put him down. Now that he is at daycare, he is getting more regular naps. You might think this is weird, but I just read a book about getting your baby to sleep and it said you will have the most luck putting him to sleep 90 minutes after he wakes up. So, if he wakes up in the morning at 7 then at 8:30 he will be getting to a point where he will take another nap. It has to do with our activity levels - they go in cycles. I guess adults have them, too. As they get older, they will naturally stay up more, and then you can move the naps to 3 hours after he wakes up. So, if he wakes up from his morning nap at 10 am then he will get another one at 11:30. I know it sounds silly, but it has been working with my baby. Until I read this book, I had no idea how important their naps are, but they need some help falling asleep. When I know it is time for his nap, I'll start getting him to fall asleep about 10 minutes earlier, by wrapping him in a blanket and rocking him and usually he falls asleep right on schedule.

LOL that's good your hubby is going to talk to them about it. my hubby's a mama's boy and is scared to say anything to her. grrrr..... i told him she better not come over when he's not home or else i might yell at her if she does it again! lol.

hawaiimommy - Monday, 12 May
OMG that's messed up! my husband would've gotten an earful, and prob my in-laws too! and i can't believe they disrespected your house by smoking in it! and that's so dangerous for your baby! ugh. sorry you went through that. i'd rather hire a sitter too! :-P

karenc - Monday, 12 May
ugh that your in-laws messed up jack's schedule! idk why parents just don't get that kind of thing. my mom is always like 'are you sure he's hungry?' when beckett is kicking and whacking my breasts. uh... YES. but even worse that they smoked -- that is totally uncool. i'm sorry you had to deal w/ that!

willows-mum - Saturday, 10 May
Thank you for your comment :o) It was actually just a normal cookie she was sucking on :o) I was eating one & she was watching me & she started getting excited so i held one up to her & she grabbed it & started sucking away on it :o) So i just let her go. Of course i was sitting right there with her just incase she couldn't handle the crumbs :o) She loves to suck on & chew everything too :o)

Hi, I read your comment about your baby spitting up all the time. My daughter does the same and my doctor says she has acid refluex. Her doctor also had her do an upper GI. And that further confirmed that it was indeed acid refluex. From my research this can go up to 12 months. My daughter is currently on medicine and I will be taking her back to the doctor next week because she is still having the same problem.

Hey, saw your comment about everyone saying that your baby is chunky. My girl was born 6lbs 13oz and at her 2 months appt weighted 12lbs. Doc said to cut down on her food a bit because she weighs what a 4 month old should be. My mom says she's wayyyy too skinny. I cant stand it. I hate when ppl make comments if your baby is chunky or skinny.

Have they taken the non BPA free bottles off the shelves in your area too??

jennyoaces - Friday, 25 April
any babiesrus will be able to tell you what's BPA free. i used playtex nursers for my son, and they are bpa free. the PREMIUM playtex nursers are NOT bpa free, but the actual bottle never touches the liquid because the liquid is held by the liner which is bpa free.

where's Negaunee?? I am from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. It sounds familiar

usagi - Thursday, 24 April
Hey, our babies have the same birthday, cool!!!

I read your question about BPA-free bottles.... it will say it prominantly on the packaging "BPA Free" or "No BPA." I just bought some BPA-free, standard-sized bottles from Babies R Us last weekend (Evenflo brand); I was worried since Paige uses a standard bottle (none of those fancy, super wide, orthopedic nipples LOL) that I would have a hard time finding BPA-free regular bottles but nope! BRU had plenty.
