Tuesday, 15 April I am responding to your article on what to pack for the hospital and here is my list: toothbrush, toothpaste, underwear, pads (I bring a few incase I need them but the hospital should provide them), a few breast pads, travel size shampoo and conditioner, hair elastic, nursing bra, pajamas (This is what I go home in, and I like the top and bottom kind), deodarant, camera, flip flops (for the showers especially cause you never know if your sharing with other women), hair brush, make-up, lanolin cream, and a blow dryer. For baby I pack: go home outfit, pacifier, socks, mittens, carseat, a couple diapers, and a blanket. Each hospital is different and may or may not provide things. Your in the hospital gown pretty much the whole time that your there and that's okay cause it is pretty messy afterward. I pack pajamas to go home in because they are comfy and I am not out to impress any body lol. Maybe calling your hospital's labor and delivery floor and asking them what you should pack or what they provide will help. Hope I helped you! shola -

Sunday, 2 Mar Your baby will be able to hear the races but shouldn't effect her hearing she may kick a bit more though.. I worked in alot of noise and my baby would kick all day and a bit extra when it got louder. I'm pretty sure things will be all fine. Enjoy while you can still go, cause it will be a different story when she's out. branbug -
Thursday, 28 Feb Your welcome, yes i'd hoped mine changed too!! LOL good luck to you!! Happy pregnancy, it'll be here before you know it and your baby will be 5 like my son is about to turn, don't wish it by too fast! :0) branbug -
Wednesday, 27 Feb Hi mommy in may~ based off of what i've read and my experinces, and my doc...you will usually measure within two weeks of your due date. so if your 30 wks measuring 28-32 wks is completely normal. :0) hope that helps. Your doc. should be able to tell you as well. But my doc said they would only change it if i got to be 3wks or more either way. GOOD LUCK!! Niamh-Jo -
Wednesday, 27 Feb We all grow at different rates; it's rare that anyone measures to be their EXACT dates. You still have the same due-date and are as far along as you thought you were, you're just 'measuring' a week ahead. means nothing my dear... I am measuring full-term because of my twins but I am still only 30 weeks! lol! 8 weeks to go for me.... anyway, hope you're well.. triafrog -
Tuesday, 26 Feb Hey just saw ur post about the DR today - i went today too and am measuring 31 wks and my lil guys heart beat was in the 140s! DeeRod -

Monday, 18 Feb
hey i think our belly look the same size in
this one! mim 24weeks with baby girl too CONGRATS! X barbi -
Monday, 4 Feb Us women are the blessed ones, we get to carry and grow our babies and of course bond with them. It is tougher for the men, they have to create this bond, usually this doesn't happen until the baby is here and they have someone to meet. Don't ever think your husband can love or care about one child more than another. It just takes them a little longer. Almarie -
Monday, 4 Feb Yes, men will be men. Mine are the same. He does not touch my belly at all. It also bothered me a lot in the beginning butI know that he is excited. Just accept that they are different.
Enjoy your pregnancy. linswyatt -
Sunday, 3 Feb Hey mommyinmay...men will be men!! I know how you feel. I just think it's not in them to show how excited they are. Even if they are, they don't express it. Just know he absolutly cares as much as you, but in a different way!!! :) TiPTiP -
Sunday, 3 Feb Not married, but my boyfriend was the same way. We are having a girl and when she first started moving, I would think he wanted to feel it every time, but he insisted that 'I felt it already.' It really made me uncomfortable and made me wonder if he was upset because it was a girl and he wanted a boy. However, I knows he is excited because every time he see a friend, he tells them he has a lil' girl on the way or he constantly buys her Polo outfits and other name brands that are not on clearance from Dillards. It helped when I told him that it makes her sleep better at night when he talks to her and feel her move.(THAT WAS A LIE, SPEAKING THAT WHEN HE TALKS....SHE FLIPS ALL ABOUT AND KICKS ME IN MY PUBIC REGION). He was happy about that and gets his touch in everyday now. Now he's thinking she's a Daddy's Girl and buys all of these baby clothes that says something about him on it. Hilarious...I Know! We're almost there and when your baby girl gets here, he's gonna want the upper hand with her. lulu81usc -
Sunday, 3 Feb Hey, don't feel so bad. My hubby is a very sweet guy and I thought for sure that the first time he felt and saw the baby kick, he'd give me a great reaction. Yeah, not much of a reaction. It bugged me too but he really can't relate to a lot of my experiences like I want him too. I guess its different for the guys. I know he'll be more emotionally involved when he can see and hold his son. Hang in there. At least you can talk to a bunch of other preggers who are having similar experiences and are just as excited as you. =) Roxy-Girl -
Saturday, 2 Feb Hi there! I agree with weenerh. My husband is not big into touching my belly either. although he is very happy and talks about our baby to everyone. I think it is very normal. Just as in the book 'Men are from mars and women are from Venus'. We are completely different beings :) Hang in there! weenerh -
Saturday, 2 Feb Hey there, just read your post. My husband is not big on touching my belly either. In fact, I have to tell him to touch it or just put his hand there. He was like that with our first one as well. He's just not a touchy/feely person. It doesn't mean that he's not excited because he's talking to everyone about my pregnancy, it's just he shows his excitement in a different way then I had expected. Try not to get too upset by it. Your man will be there when it counts. AJJ35 -
Friday, 11 Jan Hi, we are also having a girl, naming her Sydney. I have had an easy pregnancy so far, thanks. Have a good weekend! sandrac06 -
Friday, 11 Jan No I don’t get weighed, well just that once at the start. We’re keeping the sex of the baby as a surprise. I can’t wait I’m just so excited about everything at the minute!!!! I bought wee baby vests yesterday and a lovely wee sleep suit but as we don’t know the sex I have to stick to neutral colours so it must be an advantage to know the sex as I’m sure you’re buying loads of lovely pink. Take care and keep in touch and let me know how you're doing.
