Friday, 8 Feb

So far, just heartburn and cramps... nausea occasionally, and mostly at night, so I sleep it off. Had an ultrasound on Wednesday, HR 149bpm and all is well. :-)

Saturday, 23 Feb

So funny... I was playing with the doppler at work on Thursday, not thinking I`d actually hear anything yet... and there was the heartbeat!! I was so surprised! It`s so exciting to hear the little heart beating away...

Saturday, 1 Mar

So I had an ultrasound on Wednesday for some persistent, uncomfortable cramping. The ultrasound showed my 10 week 3 day little peanut wiggling around, with visible arms and legs and all!! HR was 169 and all looked well. However, it appears that peanut had a twin that stopped growing around 7 weeks... we `re having another ultrasound next Wednesday to follow up on the status... but for the moment, at least peanut is ok!!

I`m anxiously awaiting my ultrasound on Wednesday. I will update after that!!

Thursday, 6 Mar

The ultrasound today went well, FHR 149bpm and it was wiggling around like last week. The twin has not grown and has no heartbeat. I will be seeing MFM next week for my first trimester testing, so that`s the next step I guess.

Tuesday, 18 Mar

I know I haven`t updated recently... the appt. last Thursday went well, the twin definitely stopped growing. We could see tiny hands and fingers. All of our genetic testing came back fine, so I`m finally feeling like I can relax and enjoy just being pregnant. :-)

Friday, 21 Mar

So I`ll be 14 weeks tomorrow, and I am still fitting in my normal clothes. No weight gain yet, as of Friday. But I have just started to notice the bottom of my belly sticking out a little, and it`s enough that it`s making my pants a bit uncomfortable. I hadn`t noticed before because I wear scrubs all the time at work. So I`m thinking I can get a couple more weeks out of my favorite jeans, and then I`ll have to start looking for something that has some stretch!! :-)

Things are pretty good. Life has been a little stressful this week but things are looking up now : ) Ugh it's like 80 here and our air conditioning is broken. I don't do too well in the heat but it's nice to have the sun out again.

I feel the baby move a few times a day. It's so fun! I can't wait until my hubby can feel it too. This week I've been feeling some funny little flutters and according to another site it could be the baby having hiccups. How cute is that?

Do you have any plans for Memorial Day? My hubby and I are trying to take his 4 days off to just hang out before baby.

I can see how having all of the information can make it more difficult. That's cool that your boss is your doctor. It's got to be nice to have that slightly more personal relationship, and instant access for questions.

Saw your comment on latest comments (too much free time at work) and just wanted to say that although I'm like 14 weeks ahead of you, I still do that!!! (Keep eating too much and causing myself horrible heartburn). You'd think I'd learn by now. They say you eat less cause your stomach gets smaller, but boy I can still eat, but then about an hour or two later- I'm turning to any comfort I can get from TUMS. :(

LOL.. I had a piece of pizza for breakfast this morning... I got up at about 11.. ahh it felt great to sleep in today!! I hope you got some sleep as well! I napped SO MUCH today; I hope I'll be able to sleep tonight! I have to get up @ 630!! Maybe some ice cream will help me get to sleep..heehee!!

That is a bummer that your little tot was not cooperating. What a let down!!! So you do not know the sex yet?.. and you thought you were going to find out? Ughhhhh bummer! I barely slept before the u/s as I was so excited to know. Our little man was very cooperative and very active! Plus, the u/s lady popped it over in 4D as a nice surprise! We were so excited to see him and those perfect fingers! We also have a 4D shot of his parts but i thought I would not post too many pics of his parts.... haha. So guess what! I picked up my dress (the candy apple red one) and I thought it was baby doll cut (which would fit us pregos perfect and it is not!) But the dress is body forming from the top to the mid tummy ....which is HELLO our biggest part!! I was not pregnant when I ordered the dress and they did not have a sample to try on so I had no idea how it would fit and I measured a size 4... I knew we were going to start trying to have a baby so I ordered a 10 just in case. Well, the way the dress lays on my tummy.. it is already too tight.. so I am going to have to have it butchered to fit me like a babydoll dress! Ughhhhh just more $$$$$..... so frustrating though. Anyway. I am not sure if you can tell in my pics but the last one is the one that I have nice color and that was from 1 use of the Loreal Sublime (medium color). You should do it. It makes you feel so much better. If you do not feel comfortable by all means do not do it.... but you if you do- try the Sublime. I have tried 3 different kinds already and hated them.

OMG.. my mans an only child and such a mommys boy.. sucks at times, BUT he use to live in a small town of 1000 so he was home helping mommy cook all the time and bake for charities...its super sweet. He actually cooks dinner mostly everynight. I get to cook for the kids in the morning and lunch. I love it especially when I'm prego!! I make dinner for the whole family some nights, he comes home eats, helps put the kids to bed and then makes a second dinner as I'm usually still hungry, and he takes the left overs of that to work for lunch! SUPER SWEET!!

I totally agree with you! There should be a rule book! Mandatory foot rubs with the first positive pregnancy test!!! My amnio is tomarrow, I am super nervous but excited to see the kids. I will keep ya posted how it goes. Please tell me in your expirence, you haven't seen them turn bad on healthy babies. Leaking, ect. I am such a worrier. I am sure it will all be fine.
