Hi again! :) It is nice to have this time to get things ready....but it was so unexpected, so it took awhile to get used to. I know its for the better though, and my lil girl is getting stronger every day because of it! :) So, its way worth it! The sad thing is that I do have to go back to work after she comes....and its not going to be fun at all....but Im going to do what I can....well, keep in touch! :)

Hey there! :) Long time no talk! Congrats on your little man!!! How exciting...one of each..can't get any better than that! :) How are you feeling?? I'm doing ok. They pulled me out of work since my blood pressure was creeping up....and I teach kindergarten so there really is no way around sitting down at all!! So, last week was my first week "out". I miss the kids a lot, but I know its better for me and the baby! So...here I sit, and wait!! :) Let me know how things are going...talk to you soon!..Emily

That's so great, I didn't think you went back til the 28th? Have we talked since my last u/s? He confirmed it was definitely a girl! I've picked out her bedding, but it's on backorder til 07/01 so I will have to wait until then. Do you guys have any names picked out yet? I've been doing good. I haven't had any bleeding for a little over a month now. I did my triple test last visit, I called yesterday to see if the results were back yet. Even though they had already said they only call if the test is positive, I just wanted to be sure. They said everything looked fine, so I was very relieved. I don't go back until June 6th, so I have a couple of weeks yet. When do you go back now? When do you do the sugar test? It should be coming up shouldn't it?

Hey thanx for the info. I figured the blood sugar thing was probably normal, but I got a lot of other health issues I was concerned about so thanx for clearing it up for me. When I first found out I was pregnant, I was terrified, but now it's exciting, me and my boyfriend have both felt the baby move and wiggle, which is SOOO amazing, we get an ultrasound june 3 so we find out boy/girl then, I'm really excited to find out. Thanx for helping me out and congrats on your pregnancy!!

Thanks for the info. With my last pregnancy my daughter was old enough to take care of herself. This time around I am carrying my one year old alot. I was worried it might cause early labor from the pressure. I know women have been doing it for years with multiple kids but you never know.

Jackson`s Mom - Monday, 5 May
I go back again on Thursday. I get my bloodwork done then. I haven't felt her in a few days, her moves are sporadic now--which adds to my anxiety. If I wake up at night I can't go back to sleep. It's like I think if I lay there long enough I can feel her. Friday I got up at 4am for that reason--but I ended up editing prom pictures, so at least I was doing something productive. I guess I just can't shake the feeling that something can go wrong. I thought that by this time the feelings would have gone away, but they haven't...so...?. Well, again, with an appointment Thursday, it makes for a LONG Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. But my desk at work looks pretty bad so if I can focus on getting one case at a time back in my filing cabinet then maybe the week will go faster. I'm off Thursday for Truman day (weird State Holiday, but I will take it!) I am taking Jackson to pre-school screening at 8:30 and my appt is at 11am. This is my first appt in the middle of the day. I know when I was pregnant with Jackson I would sometimes have to wait for hours to be seen. (It was customary to call beforehand, they would let you know how far behind they were for the day and they would call your cell when they got close to being able to see you). I think my mom is going with me--Andy said he'd let her go since it's a mid-day appointment. Well, I'm glad all is well-talk to you soon.

I did sell alot of clothes on ebay but kept all the clothes that i liked best. I have several pamper boxes full from nb - 12 months lol. I thought it would be neat to keep the babys gender a secret, but its already killing me and I want to know now! LOL

I'm feeling good...just tired!! But, I know things could be a lot worse! The only reason I'm not sleeping as much is because I'm up going to the bathroom soooo much now!! I think she plays on top of my bladder!!! haha. Well...good luck with the u/s....keep in touch! :)

Hey. Have you gone back to the Dr. yet? Everything going okay? Jackson's Birthday was Thursday. We gave him the choice of going to the Zoo or the Circus (which happened to be in a nearby town) he picked the circus. Andy and I had already taken the day off to spend with him so we took him to Chucke Cheese and then the circus--it was a long day! We had his party yesterday. About 40 people ended up coming--we had it at our house! (Andy's idea!) We rented one of those big blow up bouncer things--the kids had a blast! We don't have to have it back til tomorrow so it's still in our backyard. I will upload his Bday pics to my site and send you the link. Hope all is well!

Our ultrasound is on the 21st!! I cant wait, its making me almost mad!! Im hoping for a girl, it would be AWESOMe but another boy I can deal with and would be much easier since I have a tonn of clothes from Lucas.. Thanks :) He definatly will be a looker when hes older haha

Congrats on your pregnancy, I havent found out the sex, not until June 4, which is like forever a way. Have you found out yet? They only thing Ive got to do is listen to the heartbeat, so I cant wait to see my little one.

I almost got her an outfit today, but I refrained. The first thing I bought Jackson was a soft pig that played "this little piggy". I bought it partially because Andy didn't know the "little piggy" song. I want to get her something that I will always look at and remember as the first thing I bought her. I haven't seen anything that means a lot to me yet.

IT'S A GIRL! Our Dr. said he sees no signs of boy, but if I bought anything before the next appt to keep the receipts! I don't know if I'm showing to other people really, I've gained quite a bit already--the progesterone has made me hungry and since he won't even let me walk-I don't get much exercise. I gained 47 lbs w/Jackson and I worked out almost an hour everyday until the last week--so hopefully I can start a workout regimen again soon--and I'm weaning myself off the hormones (again)! Have you felt the baby move? I felt her a few times earlier in the week and then nothing for a few days and then this morning I felt her really well for one good movement. That's the part about being pregnant I really love--I had almost forgot how great it was to have that feeling. Well I have to get to bed. Talk later.

How's it going? I have been super busy this week-which is good. It has made the week go by so fast and now it's Friday. I can't wait for my appointment. I hope the baby is okay. I have this weird feeling that it's not going to cooperate and I will be wondering for the next several weeks what we are in store for! Jackson has changed his tune...he had been wanting a baby sister, now he wants a brother. Andy said his gut feeling tells him it's a girl. He asked what I thought and at this point I have no clue which one it is! With Jackson I was hoping for a boy and even "had that feeling" but now I am at a total loss! Do you have any thoughts on what you are having? Is this pregnancy pretty similar to the last? Well, I have to be at work at 7:00 so I can put a full 8 hours in before going to my appointment! Jackson`s Mom - Friday, 11 April
I have a Canon 30d. Jackson has been to one appt, because it was on such short notice. Our Dr. and one of his nurses are "together" so she was up there (it was a Sunday appt). She played w/him and helped him draw us a picture--she gave him like 20 suckers. The rest of the day he kept pulling suckers out of all his pockets! We don't like taking him, in case there was something wrong-he wouldn't be able to understand. He usually goes to Andy's mom and dad's because they live in the same town our Dr.'s office is. I can't wait til next week either, I think I'm more anxious to find out now than with Jackson--we had almost decided not to find out w/him but ended up giving in! If we have a boy we are going to let them share a room--Jackson sleeps w/us anyway! Our 3rd bedroom is where both our computers are and I just don't really want them anywhere else...but if we have a girl we will have to do something else! Talk later.

Thanks, I've been meaning to write you--but it's been crazy. Monday I was getting ready for work and I started bleeding very bad. It is almost unexplainable. I started yelling for Andy to come to the bathroom because I couldn't even get up w/out making it worse. He called my Dr. and he told me to come in. I didn't have any pads at home, only panty liners so I put three on and soaked through them by the time I got to his office. Talk about freaking out! He looked at the baby and said everything was fine. He said that my placenta is still really low and that's where the bleeding is coming from. He said anytime I exert too much energy or stand too long, or have sex it will bleed. (I told him bleeding is one thing, gushing is another!) (We did yard work all Sunday:( so there you have it.) I haven't been cramping, my back has hurt in one spot today and I have had a couple of pains today. I called and talked to a nurse and she said take some tylenol and see if that helped. I haven't hurt at all in the past hour (funny because I thought she was crazy!) We go back (if we can make it til then) next Friday April 18th and he thinks he can tell what we will be having by then. On Monday he said that at some angles it looked like a boy and at others a girl, he said that at the stage I was at on Monday (12w3d) that the clit is as big as a penis (if it's a boy, I won't tell him that!) So I guess it would be pretty hard to tell. My husband is supposed to take an u/s pic to work to scan it so I can put it on the site. I don't have a scanner anymore. Jackson is doing good, he went to the grandparents for a few days so I could rest. I took all the pics on my page-even the ones w/me in them. We set up the tripod and there's the pic. I have a small (very small) photography business on the side--I started it when I stayed at home. I haven't been trying to grow it since going back to work, especially with the new baby on the way. It's a lot to handle-and it's a whole other job! I have newborn pics from 2 weekends ago I still have to edit. I started to do them Monday, thinking "sitting at the computer is like laying in bed" but I decided I needed the rest instead. How's your little one, what is her name? I don't remember seeing that on your page? Is your husband able to get off work for your appointments? Do you guys take her too? Well, I am going to lay down for awhile. Talk to you later.

Jackson`s Mom - Sunday, 6 April
Well, I am anxiously waiting next Friday. I hope I make it that long. I spotted last week (can't remember if I had said before). Dr. said everything was fine--it lasted a couple of days and then went away. On Friday I started again, but really it's not spotting. It's just like a brown discharge--I hope that it's just "left over" from last week's episode. I'm going to call tomorrow or Monday to see what he thinks. Hopefully everything is okay. I will let you know.
