7/2/07

I went for my first prenatal exam today. I am 9 wks 2days pregnant. They did the first ultrasound scan today. I was very excited to get to see my new baby! The baby measured 2cm and had a heart rate of 166bpm. Below are the pictures from the scan.

7/30/07

Today I am 13 wks 2days pregnant. I went to the doctor today for my monthly prenatal exam. The nurse could not find the baby's heart rate with the doppler so they did a quick ultrasound to make sure everything is fine. The baby measured 6.7cm and had a heart rate of 151bpm. The baby was very active during the scan. Below is a picture from my scan.

8/24/08

Today I'm 16 weeks & 6 days pregnant. I switched to a new doctor since the last one did not make me feel very confident that I had picked a good doctor. I met with my new doctor today. I am very pleased with my choice this time. The baby and I are measuring nicely. The baby has a strong heart beat. I'm scheduled for another ultrasound in 2 weeks. I hope the baby will let us see the sex.

Today I'm 18 weeks & 5 days Pregnant. I had an ultrasound today to determine the sex of the baby. The baby was sleeping and would not move so that we could get a good picture. I had to roll on to my side and poke at my belly to finally get a good look.... but finally we got to see it.... The baby appears to have GIRL parts. The baby's heart rate was 151 bpm. Everything measured nicely.

9/10/07

Today I'm 19 weeks & 2 days pregnant. I went for an ultrasound at the Florida institute of ultrasound today. It's a school that students train at to become licensed techs. The ultrasound was free to me and I got print outs of the ultrasound and it was recorded on a VHS tape. I got a good long look at the baby's sex and it definitely looks like a girl!!!

Today I'm 20 weeks & 2 days pregnant. I went for another free ultrasound today at the Florida institute of ultrasound. The baby measured nicely for 20 weeks. The pictures are below.

I'm 24 weeks & 5 days today. I went for my monthly prenatal exam today. The baby's heart rate and movements are just right. My next exam will be my last monthly after that I will see the doctor every two weeks. I will take the nasty glucose test at my next exam.

I'm finally 27 weeks pregnant and in the third trimester. I've only gained about 11 lbs so far and I feel some what comfortable.

11/05/07

I'm 27 weeks & 2 days pregnant today. I went for an ultrasound today. The baby's measurements were right on target. The baby was head down. I got one profile print-out of the baby.

11/12/07

I'm 28 weeks & 2 days pregnant today. I had another ultrasound today. The baby is still head down and measures right on target. I got two ultrasound print-outs of the baby.

11/15/07

I'm 28 weeks & 5 days pregnant today. I went for my bi-weekly prenatal exam today. I've gained 13 lbs so far. The doctor prescribed me Nexium for the heart burn that I've started having now that the baby is pushing on my stomach. Since the doctor won't be able to see me in two weeks... I will see him in three weeks for my next exam.

I'm 32 weeks & 5 days pregnant today. Below is a picture of my pregnant belly.

I'm 35 weeks & 5 days pregnant today. I went to the doctor for my first weekly exam. The doctor said that I'm 1cm dialated and 60% effaced.

1/11/08

I'm 36 weeks & 6 days pregnant today. I went to the doctor for my second weekly exam. The doctor said that I'm 2cm dialated and 70% effaced. He said that if I don't have the baby by my next exam that he would schedule to induce me on Sunday 1/20/08.
