Hey everyone! My name is Cristin and I'm a first time mommy. I have a fabulous boyfriend who already has 2 girls. I found out I was pregnant right after Thanksgiving 2007. My son Angelo was born on July 30th, 2008.

The experience of pregnancy is something I will never forget and I don't know how I would've gotten through it if it weren't for this website. I am looking forward to meeting other mommy's and sharing our stories.

My little girl has been smiling for weeks now and she holds her head up for up to ten minutes at a time!! she coo's and laughs... I think she's advanced I'm not sure a baby her age should have been doing all those things early... I'm so proud!

Thanks for replying but i do not go back for a check up for six weeks and i feel fine now. i didn't have to get any stitches and am ready to get my body back to normal. But i don't know if i am healed enough to work out even though i feel fine and i don't want to over do it. My sister told me the cord would come off in a month but it is already falling off so i thought something was wrong but i guess not lol. thanks again!!

I so understand the being up in the middle of the night and not wanting to sleep unless held. Emily had one of those nights last night...I am so dead tired! It was one of the longest nights we have had so far. And now she is sleeping but I can't, got two other kids to take care of. Does your little one take a paci.? I just keep putting the paci in her mouth and patting her bottom till she relaxes and try and walk away. Just a thought, if your little one will take a paci. I am so sleep deprived right now I don't know up from down. Good luck tonight, hope it goes better for you!!

oh and i am def not judgemental on the smoking thing dont get me wrong id be smoking if it hadnt made me vomit during pregnancy ha and i think its great you dont smoke around him too many people i see holding babies smoking i wanna smack them

haha i feel the same way although im glad having cailey changed me for the better in high school and the summer after i drank a lot and i mean a lot i was voted class drunk senior year not too proud of my past but i feel like she has changed me for the better all my friends back home are like i cant wait till you come home to party and im like no no i have a baby now i cant just go out and party ha i feel like im older then 19 now my life has flown by a little fast for me but i wouldnt change this for the world... last night cailey slept for 5 hrs in a row so i woke her up to feed her but it was nice to sleep that many hrs in a row

i smoked before i got pregnant and then had a starnge aversion to anything that smelled like smoke during it and now i dont wanna smoke anymore i thought id be sooo stoked for a smoke after she was here but im not but i am dying for a drink i just cant bring myself to have one... she was born 8 lbs 15 oz left at 8 1/2 and was back to 8 15 at our 1 weeks appt i have another appt tomorrow i hope shes still gaining
