About Your Pregnancy
Is this your first pregnancy?: Yes
When did you find out you were pregnant?: August 25, a couple weeks before our 1 yr anniv and days before leaving for our anniversary trip to Alaska (which as you can imagine meant I didn't have the BEST time in the world)
Was it planned?: Not planned, not protected by any sure methods

What was your first reaction?: Shock, and utter excitement
Who was with you when you found out?: Just me. I waited until hubby ran errands to test because I didn't want him to know I was testing. I thought he'd be disappointed if I wasn't, and I really didn't think I was.
Who was the first person you told?: Tom
How did your parents react?: Not the greatest reactions- not because they weren't happy, but just because of surrouding circumstances. My dad's mom was dying at the same time, I had just joined in his business with him so he was concerned about that, and they weren't expecting it to boot because I had told everyone we were waiting another year. My MIL was excited, but doesn't show much outward excitement. She also already has 9 grandkids all the way up to the age of 31, so she's been a grandma for a long time already.

How far along are you?: 20 weeks, 5 days

What was your first symptom?: dizziness, which is why I took the test because I couldn't shake it.
What is your due date?: May 3,2008
Do you know the sex of the baby?: Yep If so, what is it?: GIRL GIRL GIRL, which is what I suspected from day 1
Have you picked out names?: Yep If so, what are they?: we have 2 in mind, but are not sharing them. We'll make our final decision when we see what she looks like, and then we'll share the name.
How much weight have you gained?: 6 lbs

Have you felt the baby move?: Yes, I love it!
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Several times

About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: I most certainly will.
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital, an hour from my house which makes me nervous!
Natural or medicated birth?: I'm going to try my darndest to have a natural birth
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: Tom
Will you breastfeed?: Yes, unless there are circumstances that don't allow for it.
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I'm hoping not.
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: YES.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: Don't know- maybe something along the lines of, "I finally get to hold you", or "You're beautiful."
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: pictures are fine, not keen on video
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: EXCITED!
