Had the ultrasound at 20 weeks and everything is looking really good. They tell us it is a girl, but they weren't 100% sure. But, the way this pregnancy has been so different from the other three, I am pretty sure it is too. Sure do hope so anyway. Sold all of our little boy stuff on a garage sale and have started buying for a little girl. Starting to have some ligament pain down below, and my legs and back are starting to hurt. Haven't really gained any weight yet though. Right around 10 pounds I think. Hadn't gained any at my last appointment. Hoping I can really shed some pounds after baby is born.

My name is Carrie Smith. I am twenty-six years old and have been married to my husband Randi 8 years this coming July. We have three beautiful boys ages 6, 5, and 1. I am a homemaker but also do some substituting at the local schools. This wasn't a planned pregnancy but everyone has been really excited once the initial shock passed. There are some hoping and holding out for a little girl since this will be the last chance. My oldest son had surgery for Pyloricstenosis when he was a month old and my second son was born with Gastroschisis and had several surgeries in his first few months of life. My youngest son however has born healthy as an ox and so my only hope is that this baby will be too.
