DH and I went to our first OB appt today and got to see the heartbeat. It was so cool. I am so happy!

as soon as it reached about 18c here everyone takes their tops off.. NO JOKE! lots of pasty bodies and ill fitting trousers! hahah

oh how i long for warmth and even a hint of sun.. we had one nice day yesterday then we had a nice week back in april but other than that we have no seasons anymore - its just dull all the time. then it rains.. no wonder glasgow is so miserable!

I dont know why all the professionals say that first time mothers wont feel their baby move till at least 16 weeks I'm 13 weeks preggo with my first and it was so obvious!!! It made me laugh because it tickled :) it was so amazing that I could not fall asleep afterwards because I kept waiting for it to happen again, it didnt but all the same I LOVE THIS KID ALREADY!!! I just got a mental picture in my head of me walking down the street laughing because my kid is tickling me, I'll look like a loony toon. :) thats okay though it the best feeling in the whole world.

OKAY SO I STARTED TAKING PAPAYA ENZYMES FOR MY HEARTBURN AS INSTRUCTED BY MY DOCTOR AND I LOOKED ONLINE AT THE RISKS OF IT AND EVERY WEBSITE SAYS PAPAYA MAKE YOU GO INTO PREMATURE LABOR!!! NOW WHY WOULD A DOC TELL ME TO BUY IT AND THAT IT IS PERFECTLY SAFE IF IT ISNT? IS ANYONE ELSE TAKING IT? BECAUSE IT REALLY WORKS AND IM HOPING THE INTERNET GOSSIP IS FALSE. THANKS.

My MIL and FIL are like that, they are more about material things when it comes to showing they love their children.. thats not how I was raised.. I raised on love by hugs, kisses and even dicspline. My dH has the thing were he has to have all this stuff he doesnt need just to say he has it, what he asks for her gets from his parents....it so irritating, one year he wanted one of those PSP things, well they had just come out and it was $450 that I wasnt paying so his dad bought it and told me I had to pay him back for it...excuse me.. you bought without my permission and I am suppose to cough up 450 dollars for it. I think not. Plus on my birthdays and christmas, I get a shirt or soemthing like that, but when christmas and birthdays come around he wants the most expensive thig he can think of just to have it, and hes learned that from his parents giving him everything he has ever asked for ya know. I start seeing more and more everyday that my MIL is the devil as well.. I cant take it anymore.I told my dh something has got to give of I am going to hurt her more than she has ever been hurt and it will come down to them not ever seeing the children becuase she doesnt know how to listen and rules dont apply to her.. Thanks for the picture suggestion I had pictures made there before and they turned out great, it just helped money wise since we had a photographer in the family y aknow, but I am starting to see its more trouble than its worth.. lol Thanks sweetie!

I have tried that but my main problem is my DH is stuck up their a**, no joke, like his mom has given me hell since the day my daughter was born, 20 minutes after I had my son she took him from me, its like she has a problem with knowing where the line of a grandmother and a mother is, and she was a bad mother, I hate to say that but people in her family even told her she didnt need anymore kids cause of how she acted, she didnt abuse them or anything like that but she just is overbearing and my husband is so protective of his mom and defends her even when shes wrong and he knows it.. I dont get it.. I have head of mommys boy but dang! this is a little much, but thank you so much for your advice as I have done this before and somehwo they manage to ruin every family moment I have, like the birth of both of my children now I have the very first memories of my children at birth being taken from me and I'm the one who did everything, labor, delivery, and the whole pregnancy. Its just frustrating.. grr..Thanks for the advice tho! I gotta figure out something, I may not be able to use his aunt to do my pictures anymore, take them somewhere she doesnt know and what I give her is it and she cant go behind my back and order more ya know... grr...

I know exactly what you are saying, My DH is the baby of the his family. And before we got married we all got along! In nov. it will be four years that we have been married, and she always tries to butt in to everything and I'm really sick of it. I'm done with just keeping my mouth shut about everything, I've desided from now on I will let her know what she is doing and it needs to stop. I told my DH I will not be going to her house anymore and I don't care if she comes to our house but she will respect me in my house, as when we are her house she doesn't respect anyone. Thanks for listening. I know I'm ranting but it's just so adjtating

I just felt that she may have unintenionally hurt someone's feelings who was reaching out for some support. I don't think she meant to be mean, but like I said, this is a place for women to feel safe and supported no matter what their situation.
