ABOVE; Me and William on Holiday in Egypt - soon to be proud parents!!!!!

10th June- 31 weeks Yesterday was a difficult day. I have never been one of those women who get hormonal but yesterday when William phoned from offshore i just cried!! Pregnancy is taking its toll on me now. I went to the shops to get some bin bags, a walk that would normally take 15 mins in total and it took me almost an hour. I was half way there and my legs turned to stone and jelly at the same time, I was short of breath, my belly started to have shooting pains and my back was aching. It really got to me, that the simplest of things are now such a drama and a struggle. Also, since i have been pregnant i have not had one phone call, text, or visit from any of my friends (bar one) and i think its pretty shallow that just because i cant go out drinking with them they dont bother with me. I know for a fact i will be fine on wednesday when Willie gets home. Basically i am getting bored and im lonely at the moment. Starting to get a little impatient too, Ive felt the baby kicking and rolling around inside me for months now and i want to meet him/her now! Its like im being teased haha. Bumpy's room is almost finished woohoo! We are now considering Brandon for a boy as well as Ethan, think we are leaning more towards Brandon. So far girls name is still the same but we shall see!! Me at 31 weeks 1 day 31 weeks + one day, stretch marks galore!! My thighs have beefed up quite a bit too, just means i have hard work ahead of me to get back into shape for my wedding!!! 28th June 07, 33 weeks + 4 days I'm not a happy bunny today :( Willie is off to Holland until monday with people from his rig. I don't mind that, the part i do mind is that they are all bikers and its a biking trip. Willie isnt a biker, has never been on a motorbike in his life and he's on the back of one! I am petrified of motorbikes, i know too many people killed in motorbike accidents. I know the guy who's bike he's on has been riding for almost forever and knows what he's doing but that doesnt give me any peace of mind. I am so scared! I am probably over reacting but horrible thoughts were coming into my head this morning like "what if this is the last time i see him?"- totally irrational i know. He gets home on monday night then goes offshore on wed morning for 2 weeks .so i'll be pretty much without him until the 18th of July :( makes me realise how difficult it must be for people with partners in the forces away for much much longer! Bumpy wise everything is fine, i read that they sleep 90-95% of the time but it feels as if he/she is moving about for 90-95% of the time. Very tired all the time and in about 3-4 weeks i'll be on the curries to get this baby on its way !! 16th July 2007, 36 weeks+1 day I had my routine check up with my community midwife today and it went really well. The baby's head is engaged now! im measuring 37.5 cms. The midwife says she doesnt think ill be pregnant much longer WOOHOO!! I was quite chuffed when she says i've only gained 5kg during my whole pregnancy- thats only 11lbs. Baby's heartrate is 130 bpm today, im still convinced its a boy!! I've started drinking raspberry leaf tea too to help get things along but also, it is really good for after pregnancy as it tones the muscles of your uterus and helps it go back to normal easier. Havent got any complaints this time (for a change), just impatiently waiting for my little one to come out. Willie is home from offshore on the 18th, just 2 more lonely sleeps and then he'll be home for 8 weeks for the baby coming! I cant wait to snuggle up with them both 11th August 2007- due date tomorrow!!! Well folks, Bumpy is due tomorrow and to be honest i dont think its ever coming out! The midwife filled my head with false hopes, saying that she is convinced i wont go to due date and telling me i am measuring 1-2 weeks ahead all the way through my pregnancy. I have a midwife appointment on the 15th if i havent had it by then, and from there i will get a date for being induced. I am going to demand an early induction because am i heck waiting til the end of the month. Im very grumpy and emotional today. grrrrrrrrrrr. Willie keeps asking what would cheer me up-= eh how about a baby!!!! 18th August 2007 - 6 days overdue I am miserable. days ago i was due, but still nothing! Last wednesday i had a membrane sweep, but looks like im one of the women it doesnt work for. Booked in to be induced on the 24th at 11am, and i think ill probably end up having that, cant see Brandon/Ava appearing before then. I am not a happy bunny
