Saturday, 15 November Things are ok here. Aria is 2 weeks old now and I'm finally settling into things a bit better. Breastfeeding is not painful anymore thank goodness. She is lovely - I'm so pleased I finally have the girl I always wanted. It has been a very long road to get her with lots of bumps, strange twists and heartbreaks along the way. Now that I have her I'm so pleased! My 2 weeks from work have expired and I'm now facing a massive pile of exam scripts to mark. The mind just isn't up to it. Oh dear. Jet -

Monday, 6 October yeah its unbelieveable she is doing this right now.. i dont know if she doesnt care or doesnt realize that this isnt good for me , the baby or my son .. she is the most selfish person i know .. my Dad is really mad at her for putting so much stess on me , while i am 9 mos. pregnant .. he hasnt been with her for a LONG time and id say he must be tired of dealing with her too .. she is getting counseling but it obviously isnt helping .. no one in my family has any idea what to do about her .. i just hope i never turn out to be the mom she is .. Friday, 3 October Hi - are you actually in NZ? Thanks for your post and good luck. I see you are very nearly there. As to the hospital thing with Toby - the response to my complaint was unsatisfactory. Basically they said there was nothing in my notes about it (not surprising to me as the nurse didn't take it seriously at the time), and that I would have either been alert or the side rails would have been up for baby to be left on my tummy. Obviously I'd written that I was not alert and that the bed did not have any side rails. So their response is just butt covering and not at all what I expected. How hard is it to say: "Sorry - we mucked up - it won't happen again because our policy now is .....". I've written again but still no response. Meanwhile my due date is getting closer and I may need to go back there....
We're enjoying the approach of summer. Perfect time to have a baby over here. sazzy -

Tuesday, 30 September I bought 4 nursing tops. They were on sale cheap at Motherhood, so I thought I'd try them....might make it easier to nurse while out. QUEEN TANJA -

Wednesday, 24 September I decided it looked too strange with the "y". Thanks for your opinion! ~Im having her tonight by the way :) ~ at my appointment this morning I found that I am 4cm dialated and 90% effaced so the Dr stripped my membranes and sent me home to wait it out till 5pm (only b/c the labor & delivery was full~) Its almost 4pm now so Im gone to have my baby girl! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE and I will update in a few days :)~ Angi -
Thursday, 18 September thanks so much MrsKiwi. Sorry I never replied earlier. I usually just read the day to day comments. I am trying something, but its quite strage. I guess it will get me used to the feeling for during birth...

Wednesday, 17 September I always used Snuggle for fabric softner but like you said I have never seen any make espically made for baby either. But on that I don't think it matters. As for the detergent I wouldn't buy just any kind bc babies are born with sensitive skin and the detergent could really irritate their skin so be careful with that
