I have been blessed with an amazing life! My husband, Doug & I were married on August 12, 2006. We just found out we were pregnant with our first child right before Christmas. We have a true miracle in our belly right now! I can't wait to meet our little creation!

Doug is going to be the best father there is on earth. He had great role models growing up! Both of us have wonderful parents that we adore! We are so lucky to have such great families that are just as excited as we are! Currently we are 10 weeks pregnant & already have a bump... that we can't stop talking to already:)

The first trimester is almost over and hopefully the morning (all day) sickness will be too. We do not know if we are having a little Christine or a little Doug yet, but we should find out sometime in March. Our due date happens to be on August 12, 2008, our second Wedding Anniversary! We are sooooo ecstatic about our adventure to come.... I will keep all of you posted!

So much has been going on with little Baby Smith! At our last ultrasound, we were able to see the baby move around and do a little tap dance! It was amazing! There is actually a whole baby in our belly now!! This is proof that God performs miracles! We are almost at 14 weeks. Time seems to be flying by. We will find out the sex of Baby Smith on February 29, just in time for my birthday! Talk about a fabulous birthday present... My belly is definitely growing!!! I promise I will have some belly pics up soon... I am enjoying pregnancy now more than ever before!

WOW!!! The best Birthday ever...
What a weekend we had. We started off with the most amazing experience watch our little Addison, yes we are having a girl!!!! We were able to watch her suck her thumb, curl her toes, just like Daddy, and wave to us. I can't imagine this pregnancy getting any better, but it does every minute of each passing day!!! I can feel Addison at night now. She usually is a little active around 10:00 pm. To experience the flutters of our little princess is a miracle to me.

Daddy and I bought Addison her first outfit this weekend, along with a few more. I can't wait for her to get here... I day dream about the day I get to hold her in my arms!!! In this life, I really couldn't ask for more...

Another exciting moment for the new Smith family!!! Doug and I were able to feel Addison move the other night! I swear, she can tell when we are touching my belly. I can't even begin to describe how incredible it feels to feel the life you & your Husband created touch you through skin... I just want to cry when I think about it!!! Doug & I can't wait to meet Addison face to face... We are counting down the days!!! Doug actually went to a baby store at International Mall yesterday & bought Addison the cutest little pink cardigan sweater... I think she is going to be even more spoiled than I was, which is hard to imagine...

The room looks great so far! I love the crib and the chandelier. Winston is too cute! I have 3 cats and they still think that nursery was made for them. They are always sleeping in the crib and on his changing tables. Animals are so silly.
You are so smart that you are getting all of this done now. By the last 4 weeks of your pregnancy you will be useless. It will take all the energy you have to lug yourself to the toliet and back. lol! I made sure you I got everything done, but a lot of that had to do with the fact that I am just really anal.
It was so nice to hear from you. Keep me updated on the nursery. I can't wait to see it when it is all finished. I know it will be beautiful! :)

It is the home stretch now! Once we get to 30 weeks thats it we a heavily pregnant then!!! yey !!! Im sure you will get everything in the nursery done. Im having a great week thanks and feel well. I went to visit my Dad yesterday and he lives in the countryside and it is so very beautiful there full of history and greenery. We went for a long walk and I felt really good afterwards for getting some fresh air and just strolling in the country. We are just starting a public holiday here and have a long weekend ahead of us, so Im planning on relaxing with Neil and Alexandra in the garden (as long as weather stays fine!))

Me too, I am so tired sometimes I can barely keep my eyes open and then other days when Im running around all over the place doing a million jobs at once. Ive been shattered for the last few days though. I hope it wares off soon and I get some energy!

I know time just seems to be flying by, before we know it we will have had our little babies here. I am currently potty training Alexandra and she has taken to it really well, she is out of nappies and in little knickers its only taken 3 days but all I can think is Where has the time gone, she is growing up so fast... I just want to press pause and treasure each second.
Im doing really well thanks, a little tired but apart from that I cant complain. How about you? Apart from running around trying to sort your house out for your new arrival, how are you feeling?

HI, I have been well thank you for asking. A lot has happened since we last chatted. We are having a boy! Brad Michael named after My husbands friend/Mentor in life. Our first ultra sound was a little scary because they could see all of baby's heart chambers or both kidneys but a follow up appointment put our minds at ease =) I have 9 weeks to go. ITs amazing how time flies...seems like just yesterday I couldnt keep my head out of the toilet and now my little guy moves all time, gets the hiccups and if born now has over an 80% chance of survival. The weather has finally brought us a few spirts of Heat Just what the soul needed =) How are you doing? I see you are having a little girl. Addison What a beautiful name! I love her picture...Technology is so amazing. Your baby bump is just perfect too. You look very cute preggers. I have gained a total of 31lbs already. The Dr Doesnt seem too concerned but I am. Oh Well I know what I need to do once baby comes =) I hope you , Hubby , baby and doggie are doing well! Take Care...Jen

Hey Mommy! Glad to hear you are doing so well. Addison's room sounds like it's going to be gorgeous. She so deserves a Princesses pad. Are you feeling good? 2nd trimester is great, well it was for me.

Well, I am still fat, huge and swollen. I am only 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced. The doctor stripped my membranes today to help encourage labor. Holy Moly did that hurt. I am all ready for Presley I have cleaned every inch of this house and reorganized everything. I just got my hair cut and dyed and this Thursday I get my mani and pedi. All we need is baby to get here!!

Hey Momma! That is great that you have finished school. I can totally relate to the nursery room. Presley's room was the junk room were we just stored misc crap. It took me a good two weeks to sort through everything.
So, have you picked out any furniture or bedding for Addison's nursery?? It seems like yesterday I was doing all of that fun stuff. I am starting to get sad. It is going to be weird not being pregnant anymore. I am going to miss feeling him kick.
The doctors don't start doing the full examination till your last month around 36 weeks. Unless you have a problem. Though nothing starts to really happen till the last month. Then they will begin to check your dilation, effacement and station of the baby. This pelvic exam is like no other. It is a bit uncomfortable, but it's pretty neat to hear how much your cervix has changed in a week.
Hope all is going well. I bet you are having a ball getting the nursery together!! :)

I am so ready for my sweet boy to be here. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. This last month is kicking my booty. I am hot, swollen and so tired. I am ready to get this baby out.

I bet daddy Doug is thrilled!!! Ralph Lauren does have some cute clothes for boys. I bought Presley a few sweaters and his first pair of jeans from Ralph Lauren. So, I am obsessed with Baby Legs and Zutano clothing. Check them out on the web. Le top and kissy kissy are also some of my favorites! We have a baby boutique about 5 minutes from my house, with all these cute clothes.

Well, I had a pretty interesting weekend. I thought I was going into labor and ended up in the hospital. Turns out I just had a bad kidney infection. I wrote about it on my page. Everything is fine and I am home now. Though being in the L&D ward made me so excited. I went by the nursery and started to cry. I just can't wait till my lil boy is here! We are so blessed!!!

Hey! I am doing great. Had my doctors apt today and everything was just fine. I am so excited about my baby shower. I feel like a kid again who is waiting for her birthday party. lol
I just can't believe how fast time has flown by. I am so excited yet nervous.

I am sure I have asked you this before, but I can't remember anything. When are you scheduled to find out the sex?

Well, hope you have a great weekend. My hubby is having lasik eye surgery tomorrow, so please say a little pray for him. I know everything will be fine, but I just can't help but worry a bit.

Hey girl! I am majoring in Psychology. Eventually I would like to get my PhD. Though I can't even begin to think about that right now. I just want to be a mommy. The Lord has blessed us that right now I can be a stay at home mommy.

Interior Design is AWESOME! My sister n law decorates model homes and she loves it. I am into painting and all the different techniques. I actually took some classes. I did my living room walls to look like marble. My husband just laughs at me. I have re-painted Presley's bathroom 4 times. I get sick of stuff so quickly. I am constantly changing things around. I am sure you can relate to that.

So, do you plan on working independently or working with a company??

We have talked about having another baby not too long after Presley. My husband is 40 and he says he doesn't want to be an old fart when his kids are young. Lol. I can't even begin to think about that right now. I just want to enjoy this pregnancy and my sweet boy. It's funny though, because the other night I told my husband this is the only child I am giving him! HaHa. I am getting so miserable.

DO you have any plans for this valentines day? Hubby and I are going to this country club for a romantic dinner and dancing. I don't know how well the dancing will go with my huge bump.

Okay, I have officially written a novel. Sorry, I am a talker.

That is so AWESOME that you are in school. What is your major? I am slowly completing my degree! I only have 7 credits left. This would have been my last semester, but I had to withdraw because I was so sick. Then I didn't want to sign up this semester, because I just wanted to prepare for the baby. Though I do plan on going back.
