So today was the BIG day!!! We went for the ultrasound!!!! He was so active. I really didn't think I was feeling him move before, and on the U/S screen he was kicking like crazy. He must have known that I really needed to pee because he kept kicking my bladder. It was really cute too, he had his head up high, and we could see him laying his head near my pulse. I have a feeling that once he is here, he will love laying on my chest hearing my heart beat. Oh my husband and I are so excited!!!! It was sooooooo cool to be able to see him, moving around, kicking and of course being a boy... hahaha.. playin with his little thang... haha.. sorry, but he was, it was pretty funny to see. He measured at 14 oz. which I thought that sounded like alot, but we do have tall people in my family, so it doesn't surprise me. My belly measured 21 weeks and i've gained almost 26lbs so far. I really need to slow down. My doctor said that it was fine that I've gained that much so far because i started out so small, and hadn't gained much weight in the beginning. Well we are very excited to be having a baby boy!!! Best of luck to all you mommy to be's out there.

Wishing you luck on the U/S! You'll be amazed at how much different it looks than the early one (had my first one at 5 weeks.) And it's sooo wonderful to see the baby moving around and you can see hands and feet! I hope we get at least one more u/s before she gets here!

Well I was on top...lol! I just have this habit of holdin him real close... guess thats too much detail hehehe. I just have to be a little more careful but its good to hear I didn't hurt the baby. SO how do you like being pregnant?

hi hun. i feel exactly the same, one minute im over-joyed at being a mum, but then i think OMG i have these for life!! ther gonna be crying and screaming and i wont ever have any privacy!!! but then i say to myself...i made these babies and im gonna be a brilliant mum. if i want time out ther are loads of ppl queuing up to babysit. dont worry id say its perfectly normal!! x x x x

Girl, we have all been there...LOL..you are so welcomed...I am happy you feel better....and you are right allot of woman feel afraid or embaressed to admit that they felt like that or do, but if you don't speak you don't get to meet all these other great mommies like going through the smae exact thing, I like this forum, very supportive, post to me anytime you like, Your belly looks so cute by the way??How you feeling with the changes...????LOL

I have felt the same way :) But as I feel the baby move more and more and I see myself in that role as a reality, I get really excited and feel strong. I hope you get there soon too because I was feeling exactly the way you are up until very recently and then it just kicked it.

WOW, you are sooooooo not alone on this sweetie!!! Let me tell you, I have always been the nurturing type, it is instintive to me, I have videos of me as a baby like 4 years old, trying to make babies laugh or calm down if they were crying, you can see me giving them my toys and feeding them, I was a baby myself, but..now that I am pregnant, I feel like I am not ready, like I swear I have never held a baby in my arm before, I almost freeze in thought and think how will I take them a shower or change their diaper, how will I deal with the screamign and sleepless nights, I get real scared too, but I honestly tell you I think we will make it, with support from other preggo mom's and good enviroment and a positive outlook, we can be strong together and get through it, how is your husband??Is he very supportive and positive??? Think about the hardest time in your life when you wanted to just give up and didn't think you could take it anymore, like anyone, not knowing what to expect is going to make you feel insecure and nervous, that is what makes us human and great, b/c we naturally want to be strong an have control, wonderful thing is we can, look at you now, you made it past that horrible experience(what ever it was) you made it out and you laugh and you continue to live and enjoy it, and this will be one of those trying experinces, being a mother is not easy, any honest person will tell you, raising anything is hard work, a dog, a house, a business, etc..but if done on right foundations and with allot of resources and support, it will be strong and last long, I have no doubt you will be a great mom!!! You already have those instincts kicking in, like worrying...LOL....I hope this helps you and I hope that you know you are not alone, lean on me anytime!!!!God Bless you and your family and that beautiful baby of yours!!!And congrats!!!This i smy first one too!!!!!

Some people need to stop being selfish thats all, still can't believe people are disappointed in what they having.... anyway enough of that we know that they are in the wrong to write those sorts of things!

You find ou the same day as me what you are having... starting to get nervous always do when my check ups are due, worry if everything is ok!

I have had some negative feed back on my comments about people being disappointed in what they are having, but also some positive feedback.... It makes me so angry, they are very shallow people and selfish, and don't deserve have babies alot of people can't have babies. How would then baby feel if he knew what his parents were thinking. A baby is a human being not a toy or an animal.

Sorry to go on but i know so many people that have had miscarriages and few people that can't have babies and they have been so annoyed when i told them what people where saying!

I am going to find out what i am having and i don't care either way i feel blessed that i can babies and so should other people!!!

Right back to nice things how are you feeling and congrats on your pregnancy!

I am expecting twins i am 19 weeks 20 weeks Saturady and starting to feel normal again.

Hi! I just saw your post on the forum about your ultrasound. I think we may be having ours done on/around the same day. We go in on the 6th of May to have ours. How about you? We can't wait to find out boy or girl; we're also looking forward to finding out if we have a healthy baby growing.

I mostly feel my baby on the right side as well. I told this to my doctor on Wednesday, and she said it was perfectly normal, because our uterus is on the right side. She said she would have been a little worried if I said I felt it mostly on the left side. Most of the time it feels like a lot of squirming going on, and other times I feel hollow like thumos. It is weird. but I am positive it's the baby. Anytime I drink anything really cold, or either late at night, I feel the baby the most. It is very exciting!

Regarding your uterus location. It's different for everyone. I asked my dr. last week to show me where mine was, I wasn't sure. It should have been 2-3 finger lengths below my belly button, but it was right below my belly button. So you are probably right where you are feeling yours.
