Lilypie 2nd Birthday Ticker

Hi Everyone!

I decided to revamp my page after getting a good idea from a friend. If your curious about anything prior to Bryanna turning one check out my Pregnancy thru First Birthday blog...it has EVERYTHING from my previous page! Anywho....my name is Kim and I am married to a wonderful man named Marc. We have a one year old daughter named Bryanna who was born 6 weeks prematurely on October 6th, 2007. We currently live in Wisconsin and I am a part time student. Starting in January alot of things are changing. Most importantly my husband is possibly deploying. This will be so hard on us all, especially little Bry. I am also starting a full time internship while going to school part time. I still have mixed feelings about this because I love spending my mornings with Bryanna and don't want her to feel alone. We have no plans to in the near future to grow are family, but good luck to those trying and those who've succeeded :) If you have any questions feel free to ask. I love talking about preemies, accounting, and are soldiers.

Bryanna turns 13 months on Thursday, I cannot believe 13 months have gone by. I didn't realize how big she's gotten till my brother brought over his 3 month old daughter. Bryanna is really starting to act like a toddler. She's talking and walking ALL THE TIME! She's really gettting good at walking. When she falls, instead of just crawling she's starting to stand herself back up. I am so sad and happy that she's such a big girl. It breaks my heart to think that she's only going to get bigger, faster. My babies growing up :*( It's funny because when they're first born you think "Oh i can't wait for them to crawl or sit up" and now that they do it, your like "I wish she would still let me hold her like a baby." Oh well, I guess they all grow up eventually, I just didn't think it would go that fast : ) Here are a few pictures from Halloween and the past few weeks:

Thanks, yes it has work using thick towels. My Halloween was OK. Not that many ppl in my nabor hood was celebrating. When I was a kid we all went trick or treating. Thing r not the same anymore....

Nikolle - Wednesday, 12 November
They do have a TV with the service, but with the kids running around it makes it a little difficult. Also it is something more of a fellowship when we are together, my husband and I and our friends. I know she will grow out of it soon...just curious as to what else I could do.

Nikolle - Tuesday, 11 November
Thanks for the advice. This has been going on for months. As soon as we hand her to one of the lady's at church she freaks, cries so hard she can't breathe. Me sneaking off worked one time. It is really weird, because we have dropped her off with various friends/family to go out somewhere and she is more or less fine with it. She has to know all the kids and ladies in the church room by now. And there is plenty to do. I know she will stop eventually, but lately either my husband or I get stuck staying in there and we have to switch off on who gets to go to the service and it is just getting a little annoying. I mean they will just let her cry if we tell them, but like I said she doesn't just cry she freaks.
-sigh-

Knock, Knock I knocked at heaven's door this morning. God asked me...'My child, what can I do for you?' And I said, 'Father, please protect and bless the person reading this message.' God smiled and answered...'Request granted'. If you believe, send this to seven people and the one who sent it to you. By doing this, you have succeeded in praying for eight people today. 'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'

crsmommie - Thursday, 6 November
I am going to start giving him whole milk and putting it in his sippy and hopefully he won't associate it with the bottle. I am going to try this weekend, please keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

crsmommie - Thursday, 6 November
Thanks so much for your insight on weaning my son off of the bottle! That's awesome that your daughter weaned herself, I can't be that lucky, jk!!! We have tried the Nuby bottles, with no handles, that have a nipple kind of like a bottle but no success. He will drink a sip or two from it and realize it's his milk and through it down and scream. It's like he associates his formula (milk) to his bottle. Oh well, we will get it. Your little girl is too cute, love all the pictures!!!!

i wasnt this way either, but i now find myself creating all of these scenarios in my mind, overpasses on highways scare me probably the most..i have a friend who's two little girls r brain damaged now due to a pool accident so it just scares me thinking about what all could happen..i try to just push it aside though and pray for the best

onelove - Tuesday, 14 October
I know what you mean about the walking-as much as I'm looking forward to it I know then that I'll never be able to sit down. Hey-that might be a good thing to help me shed the rest of these pounds I can't seem to get rid of since having him-HA! HA!

onelove - Monday, 13 October
Hey There!!!

I got Gage's costume from Old Navy!!! Everytime I put it on him I start crying from laughing so hard!!!

Gage made the transition to whole milk very well. My Dr. said to go for it and we did and he LOVES it!!!! We got an Even-Flo car seat and we are very pleased with it. It goes up to 80 pounds so it was a good investment that will last a while. The first time he was faceing forward he was squealing and laughing-he was so excited to get to see us!

As they get older certain things get easier and some get harder like the chasing them around all the time can get pretty tiring!!!!!

Hey! Yes we are planning Jax's bday. His will be a monkey theme cuz we have always called him our monkey! He is going to be a monkey for halloween too! I can't help myself! Are you thinking about having another baby yet? We are going to start trying in November. Well girl I will ttyl!

onelove - Friday, 10 October
I hear you!!! It seems like yesterday that I found out I was preggers and now here I am with a ONE YEAR OLD???? Where did the time go??? I'm starting to understand more and more why people were telling me that it goes by fast and to enjoy it.

Have you picked out Bryanna's Halloween costume yet? Gage is going to be a monkey! I tried his costume on him the other night and I was crying I was laughing so hard!!!!!!

onelove - Thursday, 9 October
Hey there! It was great to hear from you and I enjoyed seeing how BIG Bryanna has gotten-TIME FLIES!!!

Gage and Bryanna sound the same. At his 1 year appointment he was 21.3 and 31 inches long. 25th percentile for weight and 90th for length. I have to take him on Saturday to do his Flu shot. Have you gotten Bryanna's yet?

I hope you and your family are doing well. Thanks for the updtate-it was great to hear from you!!!
~Laura
